A small fry (which is massive), a small drink and a small burger cost me $9.50. It may seem a little high but the quality is so much better than the other chain burger joints that I will drive out of my way for Five Guys. This particular Five Guys is a little loud due to it being very small. There is limited seating inside and only two tables in front of the store. If you go during peak hours I recommend ordering online and avoiding the line. The staff has always been friendly and helpful never seeming put out by having to do their jobs. Yes the food is greasy. It's a burger joint! Fast food is greasy, get over it. And they do not serve juice (juice is soda without the carbonation) or milk. If that's what you want there is a Subway in the same complex. They serve free peanuts so if you're allergic you might want to stay away. read more

If you're wondering about their burgers and you've never had one, it's best just to try one. People either love them or hate them. I recommend trying one of the "little" burgers. The standard burger is a double and it's like a heart attack on a bun. I found the little burgers (which are singles) to be much more manageable. However, this review is more about their online orders. I jumped on the Five Guys website at my office. It was very easy to order, they even let me order as a guest instead of creating an account. The website said the burger would be ready in 7 minutes. I thought that sounded a little optimistic, but I took them at their word. At 8 minutes after placing my order I walk into the store and straight to the pickup counter. Not only was my burger ready, but they saw me coming and handed me my bag even before I said my name. Now that's what I call service. Hopefully someone at Five Guys corporate reads these. I'd like to let you know that your shakes are gross and way over priced. I was so excited when you finally started offering them so I ordered my favorite flavor, vanilla. It was bad, like McDonald's bad. And they're expensive! The price would be barely acceptable for a tasty hand-made shake. For a good insta-shake it's way too much. And for a bad one, well, I wouldn't take one for free. read more

Five guys is mostly good, the only issue is that sometimes there is a long wait time for food. Sometimes they don't have enough tables. A lot of times the soda machines are out of flavors when I come here. For the most part this is a good location. Hopefully they can improve on these factors. read more

Five Guys just opened up three weeks ago. I've been there three times, but only eaten there once. The other two times, the place was mobbed. In other words, you couldn't find a table, and there were several groups hovering to snag tables as they opened. The line literally stretched to the door, and the line to pick up food (after ordering) was even longer. Why there aren't more tables is beyond me. As far as the food goes, it was good. The burger was much, much better than Al's (a Burlington staple). There was a great selection of FREE toppings that encouraged creativity. On the other hand, the fries were not nearly as good as Al's. They were dry and too salty. The cleanliness of the place was pathetic. The trash cans were overflowing onto the floor with nowhere to throw stuff away when were finished, and there was no evidence of tables being wiped clean before we sat down to eat. Overall, it was okay. Will I return? I'm sure. Will it replace Al's? No way. Those fries are still the best in the state. read more

Great food, fresh ingredients, nothing to complain about. The orders are completed fast for being cooked on the spot, and the employees get 5 stars. I was really looking forward to a good burger spot here, but was pretty disappointed with my first visit. My burgers (two on a bun) were overcooked and dry. The french fries were authentic but mushy. Also, the order taker told me that the large fries were enough for 4-5 people which turned out to be utterly untrue...generous for one perhaps, but appropriate for two with no over-eating. The food preparation is in the open, and the meat does appear to be of good quality. It just suffers from 1) flat-top frying, and 2) the house policy of cooking all meat "well done and juicy" which, as any chef will tell you, is an oxymoron. The only moisture you'll get from these patties will be introduced by condiments. Still, there is a buzzy demented energy here that is kind of appealing so I may give it another shot at some point. But I think The Shake Shack is a chain that does a much better job with this fast-but-better-quality concept. read more

I placed an online order at 7:30.... Which said my order would be done in "approximately 8 minutes" .... Upon walking in, there we're at least 30+ people waiting in line and for orders. I ended up waiting over 30 minutes for my online order. Which isn't even the issue. Besides the fact that I watched my food sit on aluminum foil for over 30 mins while watching the burgers on the grill burn..... I had to listen to the nastiest mouth on one woman in particular who was making my food. She was bossing everyone around, and was extremely rude to her co workers and even worse.... Customers! There was a very kind African American man working the grill and she yelled at him several times in front of everyone and he ended up literally walking off his shift and leaving because she was being so terrible. I am literally appalled at her behavior and so wish I knew her name so she could be fired. She has no business working in a fast paced environment when she clearly has no a single ounce of patience. And I'm sure the dozens of people who left that were waiting in line will never return after this woman yelled out "we are very backed up and busy so if you have a problem with that just leave and go somewhere else!!!" If you order a hamburger its actually a double hamburger. If you order a little hamburger its a single hamburger. Tight space and seating when it was busy. Loud too.
