Once a month , we frequent Chipotle's Mexican Food . Yesterday, we ordered a bowl and a burrito to go! My son said that the burrito was the BEST he ever tasted ! " It had flavor." He has had burritos in several states on the East Coast as well as in California. As far as healthy food goes, Chipotle's can definitely claim it has a variety of healthy choices. You get what you pay for here. The prices are hefty - for a soda, bowl and burrito, you can expect to pay $30. However, you can expect that your meal will be delicious ! Despite the fact that the restaurant was nearly empty and there were plenty of employees, the trash receptacles inside the restaurant were absolutely overflowing, the tables were dirty, my Carnitas was cold, there were no fajita vegetables or sour cream, and the overall place was just kind of grubby and unsanitary feeling. Won't be coming back! I felt extremely disrespected by one of the servers (I think her name is Grace) to the point that other customers were coming over and asking me what her issue was! She asked me if I would like rice and beans in my bowl, and I politely replied "white rice please, but could I have a larger portion?" And she arrogantly cut me off and replied "beans, do you want beans?!?" The truth was yes! I did want beans she just cut me off and scowled at me for the rest of the bowl making process, and as I was walking to the soda fountain, I heard "OHHH MY GOD, IT'S THAT EASY, BEANS OR NO BEANS UGHHHH" extremely loudly to the point where I could hear her from the booth by the window and other customers were staring at her. My friend and I felt like we came in nothing but polite, and I'm sad not to be able to return to my local post gym chipotle spot. My favorites: --Cilantro Lime Rice --Pulled Pork Chipotle Bowl --Guacamole I normally hate fake Mexican ir Tex-Mex food. Spoiled by having had years of the real thing (genuine regional Mexican cuisine), which is SUBLIME. Bur Chipotle knocked my socks off: The pulled pork, perfectly seasoned and richly sauced, was "melt-in-tour-mouth" tender. Flavors were nuanced, fragrant. The guacamole was 90% real, ripe, and creamy avocado (with only a touch of binders (oil? mayo? who knows what "salad dressing" fillers most "Mexican" restaurants use to save on expensive avocados). The cilantro lime rice had the perfect texture. The "cilantro and lime" flavors were noticeable and nice -- but I had hoped for a stronger "dose" of both ingredients. I wish little bowls of lime wedges & chopped green cilantro leaves had been available, but--the total Chipotle experience was YUMMY and DELICIOUS and NUTRITIOUS. Prices were fair. Service was fast and efficient. Ambience in this Burlington, Vermont location, though, kinda sucked -- super-loud, clattery, nerve-wracking, unlovely, and uncomfortable. But--no problem! I always order "to-go" and take the sumptuous meal(s) home. The to-go containers are great at keeping the food nice and hot. Well, it's Chipolte, so you know what you're getting if you've been to any other Chipolte. The food quality of good, but this location seems to have longer lines than others I've been to. I don't think it's busier than other places, I think the employees are a little slower here. The tables could also be cleaned more often. Let me start by saying Chipotle is my jam... BUT NOT THIS LOCATION! I have been here 10 times total since they first opened. The first two times it was great! Clean, happy peeps working, and the portions were totally reasonable. Since then each time I go, it gets worse... which makes me SO sad because I love the food. I am not kidding when I say the portion size must have declined by 75% since starting to come here. Even when you ask and pay for extra meat, the woman actually looks like she is counting how many tiny pieces she will add (which is roughly 1/2 a scoop more but should be a full scoop.) This place has become a complete rip off! Oh and your total is NEVER the same! One day it's 12.50 total, one time 14.50, and one time 10.50. I ALWAYS get the exact same thing. I'm not sure if these employees get some sort of kick back for not actually giving appropriate portions of meat, but anytime I go out of state to any other Chipotle, I am given 4X the meat that I am given in So. Burlington's location. Also the workers are way less friendly than they were when the place first opened. I'm super bummed that we have such a sucky location for such great food. DON'T ORDER ONLINE/FROM THE APP!! I don't usually write reviews for chains unless there's something really wrong/outstanding. That being said, I would like to warn people about online ordering (at least at this location). You'll get an itsy bitsy portions made by the person in the back. Because they don't have to face you, they'll just throw a tiny bit of food in the bowl and send you on your way, hoping that you won't take a peek before you get home. I think I counted 6 pieces of chicken in my bowl. Really disappointed. Asked for extra rice. Didn't even get enough to line the bottom of the bowl as you can see in the pic. Food was ready a few minutes past my pickup time, which was no biggie but the quantity certainly left something to be desired. I work in retail and I get that it's busy at dinner time, but this is unacceptable. Have some pride in your work people! I've never seen a portion so small at any other Chipotle. I feel bad for the Door Dash workers who are going to get bad reviews/no tip when it's not their fault. When we walk in there is a huge line of people just waiting for online orders, with the workers saying they aren't making online orders at the moment because the like in the store is too long. So people who had just showed up were getting served but people who ordered online to try and make things easier had to wait? We tried to kindly ask the workers what the issue was and was met with attitude and rudeness, told we could get a refund that would take 5-7 business days. This is ridiculous. We didn't receive our food until 4:25 pm. A better system needs to put in place so people who ordered ahead aren't waiting longer than people who just showed up.. Won't be returning. read more

They only do online ordering which is literally the most dysfunctionally not updated situation EVER! There are 2 restaurants right next to them that allow in person ordering, assuring correct orders. When you order light or extra, you never get it the way you order. They are often out of chips and veggies (just shut down at that point!) which creates the need for refunds. In stead of just updating the website to reflect the shortages (no way can you tell me this huge chain restaurant can't afford to update their system when I know small businesses who have done this!) they force you to go through the excustiating process of talking with 5 bots who try to offer you a bunch of useless coupons on ur next order you have to use within 30 days! Laugha le when I REFUSE to ever go there for food again! It took longer to get a human to help me refund (that will take up to 5 business days to get) than it took to make this unrecognizable bowl of mush that was missing main components I ordered extra of.
