Five Guys Cheeseburger w/ Small Order Cajun Fries
    Joe F.

4/11/20 "Dayum, dayum, dayum!" - Daym Drops, in reference to his delicious bacon cheeseburger from Five Guys. Five Guys continues to wow me with their perfect burgers. Evidenced by today's delivery order, a Five Guys burger is just as good no matter where you eat it. Today, we ordered two cheeseburgers with a few fixings: lettuce, tomatoes, grilled onions and mushrooms, pickles, ketchup, and mustard. A good, sturdy, backyard burger. We also threw in a small order of cajun fries. Now may be a good time to add that I have been *cutting* calories lately, so how on earth could Five Guys accommodate this? Quite easily, actually, with their handy calorie calculators both on their website and delivery page. So, after working out a little math, we placed our order for 12:00 P.M. Our burgers were delivered via DoorDash. There was no delivery fee (do tip these folks), and we even had the option of contactless delivery. Our delivery person took care to stand a ways back when I opened the door to grab that signature paper bag. After weighing out 100g worth of cajun fries (232 cals), we assembled our plates, got the Netflix going, and dug into these juicy cheeseburgers (~920 cals each). It occurs to me now, writing this review, that I haven't had a Five Guys burger since the Spring of 2018! So, two years later, I can confidently report that the food is still ever godly. 'Til next time, Five Guys. Thanks for a fine lunch at home.

After I took my 1st bite I pulled this out of my mouth

I would rate this with zero stars but if I want to comment unfortunately I have to give a star. This is the 1st time eating and ordering from here and I found hair in my food. I called to the store to let them know and all I got was... well unfortunately because the food left the store we don't know if you put your hair or you co workers hair in your food?!?!... WTF!!!! Worst customer service ever and the hair was cooked into the burger as you can tell. Upon further inspection I found 2 strands of hair COOKED into the patty of the burger!!!....

During the course of my meal I could amuse myself watching the growing grease stains

Grease in a bag with some fries thrown in. Ew! The picture tells the story. Obviously they don't keep the oil at the right temperature since when I'd bite into a fry, it wasn't white with a crispy outer crust, but had the translucence of oil which it oozed. Cruelty to potatoes! Such a shame to take lovely fresh potatoes from a family farm in Idaho that is proudly listed on the board and then subject them to such torture and charge so much. The hand-forms but thin burger was tasty, and it's nice that they let you put all sorts of toppings for free on it, but even they couldn't mask the bland and seemingly stale wrinkly roll. First time at a Five Guys. It may be my last.

    Soggy bread and soggy lettuce

Just picked up 2 burgers, drove 5 min home and they were completely soggy a small price of soggy lettuce in both and has no flavor !!!!! Paid 45$ for 2 aweful burgers I don't recommend at all .

My friend and I had an overnight layover in Phoenix while flying across the country. Luckily my friend has family in the area so we asked them to show us around and maybe try some good ol' Southwest grub. They all said we had to try Five Guys Burgers and Fries. So after making the trek over to Tempe we finally arrived. Meh... When we said Southwest grub we didn't have fast food in mind. Plus I've now heard there are Five Guys locations all over the place. Living in Southern California, amazing fast food burger joints isn't a new thing to me. After trying Five Guys I'll gladly stick to Tommy's or In N Out.

The patties are greasy and the bread soggy. The free peanuts is a pro but that makes things even greasier. Not a fan of Five Guys :(

Like In-N-Out with peanuts everywhere. Only twice the price. But without the drive-thru or the paper hats.

We've been coming here for about five years now, and it's one of those places that just stays consistent. You'll usually see a line, but don't let that scare you off--everything is made fresh right in front of you, so the short wait is part of the experience. What really sets this place apart is the grill. You can watch them cook your hot dog or sausage to order, getting that perfect snap on the casing with nice grill marks. The texture alone makes a big difference--it's crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. They've got a ton of topping options too--probably a dozen or more. Whether you're into sauerkraut, sautéed peppers and onions, chili, or keeping it classic, you can build it exactly how you like it. The sides are solid. The fries are good, and the onion rings are a little different--thinner and softer than most--but still tasty. This isn't necessarily a place we go every week, but when the craving for a really good hot dog hits, this is where we go. It's definitely a local favorite, and you can tell by how many regulars have been coming here for decades. We've also heard they might be opening a location in Gilbert soon, which would be awesome. Overall, great food, fresh off the grill, and always hits the spot.

Ted's is my favorite hot dog spot in the Valley, and it keeps earning that title…read more There's a clear East Coast influence here, down to the details--like bottles of malt vinegar out for self-service, which is perfect over their fries, and Buffalo NY newspaper copies. And those fries are excellent on their own: thin-cut, crisped just right, with bits of potato skin mixed in for texture. The dog lineup is solid, with plenty of variety, but I usually stick with the all-beef frank. Everything's made to order, so there's typically a bit of a wait, but you get a buzzer so you can mind your own business while waiting. The space is a plus too, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. On my latest visit, a large group of bicyclists rolled in--some in full hot dog costumes, others in hot dog-print gear. They were all super friendly and cleaned up after themselves and it added to the whole experience. Consistently great food, a peaceful or fun atmosphere, and attention to the little things that matter.

It's a no frills small joint that's been slinging food here for decades. I got the bacon cheese burger, fries and a coke. Simple, yet all I need with a burger. I loved how they do the bacon here too. It's not strips of bacon but instead a circle of bacon. So good and crispy! The condiments are self serve in this middle area and you shout your order when it's your turn and then wait for your burger to come up then grab a tray, your burger, drink and side. I love a nostalgic place, and this is def that! It was packed when we got there but don't fret. Line moves fast and people eat and then get out knowing it's a place you eat and then move on.
