I have to admit I wasn't the one starved it was my husband so we stopped. We had never eaten there before. I walked in and made my way to the menu board. I saw something I think called a Jr Burger. I was really hoping for a little one like for kids. Apparently they don't have those. All burger patties are 1/4 lb but the size of the burger is just how many you want. Naturally I just got one because I wasn't very hungry. They don't automatically come with anything you customize every burger. I got bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickle, mayo, ketchup, and mustard. I prefer red onion which they didn't have so I got with out. I also prefer cheddar cheese but they only use American. Kinda bottom end in my opinion but I really wanted cheese. Over all the flavors were good. Definitely tasted fresh. However the patty was so thin and the bacon was just cooked bits not whole pieces. And the bun didn't hold together very well. I felt like it was a challenge to eat. The fries. Well, again the flavors weren't bad but they were just thrown in a drinking cup. It seemed like an inappropriate vessel for the fries. There was nearly as many loose in the bag. We did eat it there but it appears they just put everyone's order in a bag regardless. The bag was so greasy from the fries. Even the left over ones we put in a napkin lined new bag to go made the bag greasy. The fries over all were mushy and not well cooked or drained. Flavor good but consistency not. They do have one of those machines where you can choose a ton of kinds of soda. My husband and I just shared a sprite. It tasted bad to me. It is my soda of choice and I couldn't drink it. Not like it was just plain carbonated water either. Just bad sprite flavor. Not sure why. I did however get a chocolate shake before we left. It was tasty. Not really any complaints. Over all if you're in the area it's not a bad place to stop but I feel like a Killer Burger or a Burgerville are both way better choices. Greasy, fresh, all American burgers. I dig it. If only they could serve some brews. These burgers are so good they mask the guilty feeling you get for eating something that drops grease it's like blinding love. I'd give it 5 stars if the place was a little cleaner, the tables were suspiciously sticky and the soda machines were due for a good cleaning too. Five Guys is a great place to get a burger. I love that the toppings are free, grilled onions and mushrooms included! The burgers themselves are good, and the toppings make them even better. The fries are great, and the free peanuts are a nice touch. It's great that this location serves milkshakes, and they are actually good shakes. We had good service and the employees were competent and kept things rolling. It's helpful that the menu has the calorie content of each item in plain sight, so you know what you are getting into. I didn't think the prices were that outrageous, yes, it's more expensive than McDonalds, but it's also a much better burger. Parking can be a hassle especially during lunch, but don't let that deter you, sometimes you just need a burger. read more

Easter Sunday. Two people workin; young guy, little rude not believing they had a secret menu available online to read off of. Haven't had food much due to restrictions so a "go big go home" moment struck today. Establishment is clean, machines appear well serviced, tables a little residue sticky but you can tell it's from the wipe down they're using. Floors scattered a little with the peanut shells... would expect it either this condition with more people, or cleaner floors with less people. every single time i order from here my food takes about 30 minutes to prepare i understand during rushes but last time i was the onky custoner and the employees had their masks off their faces and chatting casualy while my food was not being made. my order has only been coreft 1 out of many times coming here and the foods so sloopily prepared. i keep trying to give them another chance because i work in food and get how errors can happen and days can be bad at times but they are poorly trained and do not care at all here just go to a different 5 guys its 100% worth driving the extra 20 minutes to the next location read more

The burgers here are very tasty. The fries cut daily from Idaho tasted awesome and fresh. Every restaurant owner needs to go to a Five Guys. The staff welcomes you once you open the doors. The place is very clean and all employees smile and seemed to love their job. This tells me that management is doing it right, Kudos to Five Guys. read more

What a disappointment! I tried to give this place 3 chances and they still loose my vote. First two times I went in, they had been open for a few weeks and still did not have any milk shakes, even though there were about 6 signs around the place talking about milkshakes. Great burgers, awesome fries, and outstanding milkshakes. The burgers are tasty and consistent -I know if I go there tomorrow and order the same thing I did last week I will not be disappointed. I like consistency. The range of burger toppings is phenomenal, always fresh and yummy (And free ). I appreciate the simplicity. You figure out how much meat you want, and then decide on what you want to put on it, easy peasy. This time we tried the Cajun fries and they did not disappoint. The fries taste like deep fried fresh potatoes, not frozen. And the milkshakes-ah the heavenly milkshakes... if you are a milkshake purist and the idea of a normal fast -food slimy glopy milkshake (not that they should call them milkshakes) makes you gag, then the milkshakes here will make you sing with joy. TLDNR: Blatant False Advertising, Rude Staff, Bad Food. I tried 5 Guys based on their advertised claim that "All toppings are free," which is restated on their menu directly below the sandwich section. It does not specify any restrictions regarding which sandwiches this applies to. Since I am a vegetarian, I ordered a veggie cheese sandwich. The cashier, Dalton, was belligerent and pressured me at least three times to order meat. When I finally convinced him to place the order for the sandwich, I asked about the free toppings, and apparently this is a blatant lie. I was not permitted to add any toppings whatsoever to my sandwich. After a long wait, the food finally arrived. The fries were bland with no sauce options available, and the sandwich was like something I could make myself at a supermarket. I wasn't sure which size of fries to order, the young man at the register suggested small to go with my small burger. Both were perfect, plenty of food but not so much that I had to gorge myself by finishing it all. I asked for a cup of water and they gladly obliged, the classic fountain drinks are super cool! Also nice to snack on peanuts and chill while I waited. All employees were working together and cranking out the burgers in a timely manner, one guy was singing along to a Journey song. Customers were all relaxing and enjoying the evening. I will definitely be back with my family sometime soon. read more

This location has such an odd aura too it. The 3 times I have been here it just seems like the staff is in some sort of chaos. Like they are struggling just to pull it together. Service is kind of slow, fries are extremely salty and just odd. It is not anything like the Beaverton location on Walker where you are acknowledged as you come through the door and it seems like everything runs smoothly in the kitchen. This place was filthy! The floor was nasty with food, napkins and who knows what especially under the tables! It was hard to find a table that was clean. Found one but needed to use napkins and water to wipe it and the chairs down!! If you've been to any In n Out then you know what I mean. Although we parked in the middle of an empty parking lot, 200 yards from the restaurant, the security guard made us leave,or move to the far side of another store, truly a quarter mile away. Normally Five Guys is our favorite burgers. We don't get it often just due to driving out to the Lake Oswego location. So we decided delivery would be good instead and to get it from this location instead. Boy were we wrong! We ordered 4 burgers and 2 out of those the burgers were screwed up. One was to have grilled jalapeños and a regular amount of steak sauce, but it came with no steak sauce and no jalapeños. The second one was supposed to have extra sauce, which it came with along with grilled jalapeños and mushrooms. Kind of makes it not edible for the person who doesn't want jalapeños since they are grilled along with all the other toppings. Normally we would have had them fix the order but we'd waited an hour and a half for the first order to arrive. And driving out there defeats the purpose. I gave an extra star only because they didn't screw up the entire order. But do know this- I will never be back to this location and I will discourage others from coming here. If they want good burgers done right, go to Lake Oswego. read more

This was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. My family and I went in for dinner at 7pm on Friday the 6th of November and the three boys that were working there absolutely ruined my impression of five guys. Well more specifically the location in Nyberg woods, I will never go back there. Obviously, there will be other locations that will have decent management that will actually know what is going on in their restaurant. I am not a picky person and usually never have time to talk down an establishment for poor performance but after this I could not help but write a review. I am sure if you go there all the time and know what you want and don't care to be acknowledged or expect to have answers to your questions, or really any a staff with any social skills at all then this place would not bug you. And if I was in a hurry I probably would have cared a lot less. In fact, I was disgusted with their customer service with my family but it was even harder to see the way they dealt with an older customer in front of me and the people online behind me. I think the reason I feel so compelled to speak up in this case has to do with the fact that I was traveling from southern Oregon and had eaten at every kind of restaurant along the way, with a mixed bag of experiences but nothing even remotely compared to what Nyberg Five Guys employees did or didn't do. They couldn't answer a question, they had no patience, they were sarcastic and short with customers, and could not think for themselves at all. The place was filthy and all they did was sit behind the counter cracking jokes. And that was all with only 10 people in the restaurant. The only other reason I can't shut up about how pathetic they were was the fact that I had just eaten at In and Out the day before at noon, and they turned us through in half the time with 150 people in there and some of the best customer service I have ever had. They actually worked, and the place was clean! Now I know that there is no comparison but if Nyberg five guys could fall so flat with only 10 people in the restaurant I would hate to be in there during a rush. Sorry to use so many words to make my point but I think people should know and not have to put up with such poor customer service. read more
