Little cheese burger and French fries.

I normally love five guys but this location was really disappointing. The burger was cold and soggy. The fries were not entirely cooked and they provided not ketchup or napkins. It was a DoorDash order. There burgers are not cheap. Skip this location. Order from Habit or e In and Out.

The best fries in town. Love the Cajun seasoned fries here they are so good. I haven't tried anything else on the menu so I can't speak to that but I will always come here just to grab fries. Inside is pretty spacious. Bathrooms are not the best. Staff is nice and attentive. Service is fast.

Wow, this is my first time at Five Guys and I am impressed by how delicious the burger and fries are. it's quite authentic and very fresh which differentiates their burger from other franchises. The service was fast. I do wish they had a drive thru, I am pretty sure the traffic would be heavier if they had one. The restaurant itself is very casual, and laid back.

Solid burger and friendly service. I'm never mad at eating at this location. They keep it pretty clean and tidy and there's always seating available. The burger is always flavorful and I love me some grilled shrooms and jalapeños. The fries can be hit and miss though. Sometimes they absolutely nail them and they're slightly crisp on the outside but still soft on the center but sometimes they're just plain greasy or - even worse - soggy. Can we talk about what happened to the prices here though?! Yes, inflation suck, I get it. But $25 for a burger, fries, and a drink just feels crazy for a fast food spot.

Amazing food!!! My fave burger joint, better than in n out bc their patties are so big and thick! So much flavor. Also love their fries!!! Always quick and easy to order. We go almost every week (lol). Will definitely keeping coming back!

Friendly staff, good burgers and you get a ton of fries even if you order a small. . Very clean sitting area. Quick service. A little expensive, but still worth it.

OK Burgers, a little bland for the hype and price. In and Out has just a little better for cheaper.

I was craving a solid chili dog and googled options in town, decided to hit up Fire Craft for the memorably-named "Big Back". My partner tagged along and ordered the Texan. The Big Back lives up to its name--there's a lot of meat on that bun--but every level of flavor hits. I swapped the jalapeño cheese sausage for a Louisiana hot link, and its flavor (enhanced by their signature "dirty water" seasoning) worked well together with a solid chili. Naturally, the brisket was the pièce de résistance--a great topping to stack on. The owner explained that the Big Back combines the sausage, chili and brisket of his friends' favorite orders all into one, and they work great together. The Texan (not pictured--we ate it too fast!) was arguably even tastier. The flavors were bright, likely on account of the candied bacon (not too sweet) and the unique cranberry sauce topping. Combined with the banana peppers and high-quality, all-beef frank, this made for a tasty, memorable, and uncommon flavored hot dog. Both glizzys were well-built and could be eaten standing, which we did immediately back at the car. We felt the menu is well-priced--more expensive weekend items like the Big Back came with a lot of satisfaction and satiety. And speaking to atmosphere, the owner is just a friendly, kind guy. He and another worker were kind and welcoming, serving us with the last two hot-dog buns they had, then gifting us a free bread pudding each. And wow was the bread pudding good--delicious, not too sweet, filling and a great way to cap a protein and fat-heavy meal. Highly recommend this entrepreneur and the delicious product of his hard work. Hope folks reading this drive over next Saturday and make a line down the block!

Super personable, great energy, and made the whole experience feel effortless. I ordered the peanut butter and jelly burger--smash-style patty with bacon, peanut butter, jelly, Tabasco, and pickles--and wow... one of the most unique and satisfying burgers I've had in a long time. It hits that perfect balance of savory, sweet, and nostalgic. I asked Paul what he would pair with it, and he absolutely nailed it. He introduced me to "Chimp My Ride" from Solano Brewing Company, a rich stout with chocolate and peanut butter notes that complemented the burger perfectly. It honestly brought back that childhood lunchbox feeling in the best way possible. On top of that, Chef Jamie personally brought out the food and took the time to connect--great conversation, great presence, and you can tell there's real pride behind what they're doing here. The vibe, the style, the food, and the people all come together here. Easy five stars. I'll definitely be back.

Within minutes, I knew I'd found exactly where I wanted to spend a hot summer afternoon. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between neighborhood tavern and craft beer destination. Vintage bicycles hang overhead, dozens of rotating taps line the wall, and the energy is lively without ever feeling chaotic. Whether you're catching the match, meeting friends after work, or simply escaping the summer heat, Rustwater has that welcoming vibe that makes you want to stay for another round. Following the bartender's recommendation, I ordered the Chicken Ciabatta from the specials board with a side of crispy tater tots, and it was absolutely the right call. The sandwich arrived beautifully presented on a perfectly toasted ciabatta roll with just the right amount of crunch. Inside was juicy grilled chicken layered with smoky bacon, melted provolone, crisp lettuce, ripe tomato, and a flavorful pesto mayo that brought everything together without overpowering the fresh ingredients. Every bite delivered a wonderful combination of textures and balanced flavors. The tater tots were exactly what great tavern food should be, golden, crisp, and light on the outside with a fluffy interior. They became downright addictive when dipped into a combination of ketchup and a Ghost Hot Sauce that once they are out they are out adding a slow-building kick that complemented the crispy potatoes perfectly. As I enjoyed a cold pint from their outstanding rotating tap list, Spain put the finishing touches on a 2-0 victory over France, sending them to the World Cup Final. Great soccer, an exceptional craft beer, and a fantastic lunch, it doesn't get much better than that on a scorching summer afternoon. Rustwater has earned its reputation over the years, and it's easy to understand why. Friendly service, an outstanding craft beer program, elevated tavern food, and an atmosphere that invites you to linger long after the final whistle. If you're looking for one of downtown Fairfield's best spots to enjoy creative tavern fare, explore an ever-changing lineup of craft beers, and catch the big game, Rustwater Kitchen & Taproom deserves a place on your list. I'll definitely be back to see what's on tap next, and without question, those crispy tater tots will be making another appearance on my table with the ghost hot sauce, if still available, due to the company going out of business.
