Fast and Amazing food. Received the food as soon as I arrived just as expected, all correct ingredients.

My kids wanted fries so I came here. I've been to this location several times without issue and this time was no different. Fun fact: I used to mystery shop quite a bit for Five Guys some years ago. I learned the employees are supposed to take a scoop of fries and put it directly into the bag for each order of fries that you purchase. I always appreciate the extra fries which are always hot, crispy and perfectly salted. My kids never notice how much of their fries I've eaten on the way home because of this :-) Although I have not eaten meat in quite some time, their burgers have always been tasty from what I remember. No complaints.

Folks here are generally polite and efficient, especially with orders placed ahead. Food is consistent, what you'd expect from a chain burger joint.

Not going to this five guys location again. Ordered a burger tonight and it was burnt to a crisp and dry. I know it's fast food but I expect something better for $8.

This place by far is the best to get burgers. They are soo juicy when you take a bite into them. It's well known that I go here often!

Manny's Texas Weiner - Dog is better than it looks but I found the chili a bit too Cincinnati-like. Not bad, just a bit odd.

I thought the main focus was hot dogs but I was so wrong. People had everything on their plates from French toast, to roast beef sandwiches, to omelettes! I tried the hot dog combo and it was good- wasn't the best hot dog I've had but it definitely wasn't the worst. The chili is an absolute never again for me- mysterious dark color and flavor lol BUT I would love to go back to try other menu items. I keep thinking about how delicious the French toast looked on another persons plate (terrible I know but I haven't try it) lol

The nostalgic vibe inside was great, the menu was huge, and the staff was fun and friendly -- you could tell they were proud of how long they'd been in business. Unfortunately, I can't let that alone carry the review. The hot dog itself had a nice snap, so you know it's finished off on the flat top. Where it fell short was flavor and presentation, starting with the chili. It just wasn't doing anything for me -- sad to say, but it looked like day-old chili. The color was off, and the seasoning was even more off. And nothing drives me crazier than a wet bun; this one was soggy, likely from the onions' moisture. I just can't do it. The dog will fall right through the bottom. The sweet potato fries were great, but the coleslaw was more like "warm slaw" -- even the waitress flagged it to the kitchen. This isn't to say the place doesn't have other solid items, but the hot dog was the star that should've hit the spot, and it just didn't.

The place itself is small, so come at off peak hours to ensure a spot to eat. If you're sticking around, grab a few packs of cards to rip, or try one of three arcade games that are free to play. As for the menu, you can't go wrong with the burger options. The stuffed options are mostly standard, though one monthly burger usually injects some unique flavors as well. We've tried the onion rings, tots, and fries, and while all are good the fries are the most flavorful. I also must call out one big letdown, which may be a deal breaker for some...the ketchup situation. The couple times we've been there, it's been generic packets. It's heinous to have this flavor without Heinz, or at least something I can slather on instead of carefully applying one smidge at a time.

If I had had more time I would've shopped around a bit. For lunch I ordered the quesadilla burger and made it a combo with fries and a soda. Thank you to the cashier for informing me about the combo deal! The quesadilla burger was delicious and I couldn't stop biting into it. The fries were also well made. My only issue was that it was freezing inside the restaurant. I don't know if they don't have heat or the heat was just broken that day, but I had to keep my winter jacket on the whole time I was there. I hope they were able to get it fixed!! Overall though, I definitely enjoyed the place and have to go back the next time I'm in the Springfield area.

This weekend I decided to finally check it out. Spot Diner is located in the middle of a block, sandwiched between other store fronts. A blue awning is set over glass windows in the front. The doorway is a bit awkward, but when you get in you'll see plenty of booths and regular tables to sit at. Even better, you can sit at a counter to the left, one of my favorite features of any diner. I wound up sitting at a booth and it was at an odd time (around 4PM) so it was not crowded. The waitress was there very quickly and she was very nice. The host was cool too. No issues at all with service. The interior of Spot Diner has clearly been renovated in recent time. You can tell at one time it probably looked more like a classic diner but since then the interior has been painted blue and grey (giving off a Greek restaurant vibe) and there are some nice paintings hanging on the walls. I was really there just for a snack so I wound up ordering French Toast (which was still available at this hour). It came out quickly and it was good! One of the challenges with French Toast at any restaurant cooking it thoroughly while not drying it out. Fortunately they did a great job here The outer edge had a nice bit to it while the middle was chewy and cooked properly. Butter and syrup were of course provided on the side. I enjoyed my visit to Spot and I hope to come back for a full, proper breakfast one day!

After looking around I noticed that the restaurant was empty and it seemed a.bit odd. It happens that we were seated 10 minutes before they were closing. Our waiter said that it was not a problem and continued to explain the menu. This menu has everything you could want for dinner. Items like turkey with mashed potatoes and stuffing or grilled pork chops with apple sauce. The ding room is pretty good size and could easily accommodate large group. The service was excellent and attentive and what was amazing to me is that it was never mentioned of things that were not available. The twin grilled pork chops were juicy and tender served with your choice of vegetables and salad. The turkey dinner was great and the turkey was not dry and of course with mashed potatoes and stuffing. This is a BYOB establishment and they have a discount if you want to purchase wine or beer at a neighboring business. The prices are very reasonable.
