Stopped in after going to Tillamook Factory. Honestly, some of the best coffee I've had in Oregon which says a lot. Mellow, not acidy aftertaste. Sugar free syrups in 7-8 flavors as well as the regular syrups. Worth stopping in. read more

Five rivers coffee roasters and cafe is a pleasant surprise. The staff is kind, and humble. The coffee they serve is good enough for anyone to drink, and better than most are used to. Anyone reading who is used to trendy aesthetic focused coffee shops may not be pleased at first. The people here serve coffee, and they do it in a homey environment. One of the greatest simple pleasures that can accommodate A well made beverage, is feeling at home. This is their niche. I wish there was more of this in Portland. On top of that their whole bean coffee is great. $11.50 for a 16 oz bag of INCREDIBLE coffee that most Portland coffee shops would sell for $16 in a 12 oz bag. Their coffee is seriously top notch. (Especially their single origin offerings) Five rivers is doing great things, and deserve a lot more credit. I'm proud to take home a bag of their coffee and share it with my friends. read more

Amazing coffee in Tillamook?!?! I know, I couldn't believe it either! I usually only drink coffee from places like Stumptown or Water Ave, but this is my new favorite! The coffee is perfect! The coffee shop is super cute and looks like it is right out of Bend Oregon. The service is great, the baristas are always friendly and helpful. I appreciate that they have a small breakfast and lunch menu. My only suggestion would be to offer more breakfast pastries, but if you are anywhere near Tillamook, you need to go here! read more

so, quite sometime ago my husband and I noticed this place on the side of the road across from the Tillamook creamery, and we kept saying we have to stop there. Well, the other day I did. It was pouring rain and cold. I went inside, and one of the first things the young man did, was exude top-notch customer Service with a smile and an easy-going way that made me want to smile and relax. Kind of made me forget my worries, my hurries. I tried the fog Cutter coffee. It was beautifully smooth with no bitter acidy aftermath. I do not drink black coffee usually. But I drink that cup black and didn't ask for anything. It was delicious. It didn't tweak with my taste buds. It just was beautiful on my taste buds and smooth. And kind to my stomach. And it was roasted right there. OK now.... The scones! OMG! I tried the berry scone and it was out of this world! Soft, fluffy, a little sweet and berry good! lol! Something I would go back for along with the coffee! Oh by the way I bought two bags of beans to take home. I also bought a spinach cheese going to take with me. So today I'm baking for a birthday party of 100 and needed some food in my stomach. Remember that spinach and cheese scone that I bought? It's been two days, and I took it out of the refrigerator and he did it for 30 seconds. OMG! It is so delicious! And it didn't go stale quickly. This is now one of my favorite places to go. I haven't even tried all their other stuff I believe they have soups and lunches and stuff. If you come down to the Oregon coast you have to try this place and the atmosphere and decor and staff are absolutely Wonderful. read more

Try the house coffee without any sugar or cream. It's so good. I live plain coffee when it's well roasted and this is the place to get it. My cousin enjoys the other sweeter drinks they offer so I am sure you can get anything here and it would be good. Did I mention how good the coffee is just plain? The atmosphere is nice and coffeehouse like and the food offerings and varied and diverse and quite good. Weekly specials like eggplant and roast beef sandwiches may seem odd but I like to broaden my horizons and try new things. Come for the coffee and stay for the atmosphere. And coffee. read more

While I found their coffee well roasted, there are few other compliments I can pay to Five Rivers. Well, they *do* have free WiFi. Unfortunately they also have limited hours and very mediocre service. If you happen to enjoy getting barked at while sipping a pretty decent cup of joe and watching dust collect, call ahead and make sure you can at the date and time of your choosing. As we drove past the Tillamook Cheese Factory, a billow of smoke clouded the air. It was the smell of fresh coffee beans being roasted. We deeply inhaled the intoxicating aroma and marked the spot as a place to return. And we did. We ordered soy mochas to go and they lived up to the aroma. Love this shop. Tillamook suffers from a lack of comfy sit down coffee shops but this one fills the bill. Love the coffee first and foremost. The cinnamon rolls are to die for. The place is clean, the staff friendly and if you go at the right time, the smell of roasting coffee is abundant. This is where I invite my out of town friends to come have coffee. I love this coffee. I only go thru the drive thru. Everyone is friendly, coffe is so good, very strong. I like a extra shot every once in a while. Drive thru is somewhat decent. Depends on what your getting. Coffee, I get blended drinks so like 10 to 12 minutes. But I ordered a bagel with cream cheese once. I waited like 20 mins it felt. I kinda was starting to complain but once l ate the bagel. Oh my gosh! So good. They put a nice layer of cream cheese on a cheese bagel. And not just a sprinkle of cheese on the bagel but like a slice of cheese was baked in the bagel. They press it on a grill. Eat it when it is warm the smooth cream cheese melts with your soft warm cheesey bread of the bagel. Then wash it down with the blended smooth strong cold coffee. Yumm. This place can be easy to pass because of the Cheese Factory across the street. But it is definitely a nice stop. I have not been inside but they have what looks like couches, tables and chairs and Free WiFi I believe. And a small menu of other cafe like foods. Best of all they sell the same coffee they brew!
