This is the only place I go to get my nails done. I am extremely picky when it comes to my nails and they nail it (pun intended) every time. I have been getting my nails done at Five Star for almost 10 years. It's a family business, and you are always treated well. And your nails look amazing. I have had many friends who never had pedicures or manicures and once they started going to Five Start have been long time customers. Is it a 5 star spa? No. But...I have paid upward of $80 for a pedicure at a spa and keep coming back to to Five Star. Not because it's less expensive - because they do a better a job in a shorter amount of time! Who has all day to get a pedicure? They have massage chairs, big screen TV's, lots of magazines and great service. I recommend them to everyone I know - great prices, great work and good people. My manicurist was incredibly kind and attentive. I really enjoyed speaking with her about our upcoming vacations and long weekend plans. My experience started off so pleasant & relaxing! Unfortunately, the trip took a turn come pedicure time. I was passed onto a different woman who was very rude. She did not make any small talk or introduce herself. She did, however, make stark and judgmental remarks pointing out every scar and bruise on my bare legs. I laughed it off (but was frankly embarrassed as she said these things very loudly) and explained that I am very adventurous but also quite clumsy. I felt uncomfortable. She went on to insist that I am far too pale (I am naturally very fair skinned). I again laughed it off and explained that I burn easily and do not get tan. She then told me I need a spray tan and pointed out that my arms are a shade darker than my legs. If I cared about her opinion of me, I would have left feeling very self-conscious & defeated. I promise you that I was nothing short of nice and conscientious during my visit. I am unsure why this woman treated me so poorly :/ I left a generous tip because my manicurist was so lovely (she even came over to the door to tell me good bye, "It was so nice to meet you, enjoy your vacation!"). I only wish I knew the pedicurists name as to avoid her. I have loved all their other staff I have interacted with! read more

Sometimes it's a 4star, sometimes a 2, but mostly a 3 star. OK. Average. I would suggest bringing your own polish and making sure the pedicure chair works before starting. I prefer driving a little further south to Mile Hi as their prices are about 20% cheaper, but again, bring your own polish. The dude that did my nails was soooo bad it looked like I dipped my fingers in wax and they where so lumpy and gross. I don't recommend the guy Adam. And when we asked him to make them straigher on the top he acted very annoyed and when we had to pay they where $40. I went once. The prices were cheaper than average and all posted on a sign. Looked pretty clean and the tech was sweet. I got a full set like I always do and they came out looking great, no complaints. At least not until about 4 days later when one just fell off. I didn't bump it, bend it, soak it, or do anything that might cause that. It just fell off. I have gotten my nails done for years at other places and never had that happen. For the price it is great. I have never made an appointment and have always gotten in within 20 minutes. All my sisters and my grandma continue going back and they remember all of us! They always ask about my boyfriend and job. I have had some amazing foot massages and am always VERY happy with my nails. They even have fixed them after a few days when they chipped (they weren't shellac) and I came back. read more

Flakey & unprofessional. We asked for 3 people to be serviced, two got attended to, the third had to ask for service WHILE sitting in the service chair. My nails had bubbles. My mom has to get her nails filed down, and the guy acted as if he was doing her a favor because he had a break to go on. The "drying station" had no fan, no UV light, just a 25watt bulb and time. I was charged $40 instead of &18+ for a full set when I got a rebas like it says on their website. (More than double) Find a better place. We also went to there second location initially but they sent us to their first location because they didn't have any technicians working that day.Dont bother read more

5 star nails is a great place to get a manicure or pedicure. Lynn and Jenny do a great job and the price is low for the metro area. I have gone to Lynn for months now for a gel (Gelish) manicure. It lasts about 2 weeks depending on what I do. Lynn is quick and professional and I highly recommend her. read more

I went to 5 start nails for my first time two weeks ago to get a shellac manicure. It looked great I loved the color and thought it was actually the best looking shellac I had got in awhile. Well THREE days into my manicure my middle finger chipped (which should be an at least 10 day no chip guarantee) and then from there on all my other nails quickly started to chip and peel fast. And let me remind you that I paid $35 for this manicure. I have had multiple shellac/gel manicures in my life and never have I had a chip that fast or really ever. I did not go back to 5 star nails cause I don't want to sit there for another hour for the same thing to happen, and I highly doubt they would have given me a full refund. The fact of the matter is that shellac should not EVER do that, and you have been warned! read more

I tried to be positive but honestly the product received is awful, the nails are not even length, the thickness varies from nail to nail, the color is uneven and when I asked about each of these things I was looked at with a condescending stare and ignored. The color powder is so thin in random spots you can completely see through it! I asked the technician to fix it and she said no its fine. I will never come back here, I was beyond polite after 14 years in customer service I know how to act and when I'm ignored and treated like I'm a problem I know my business will go elsewhere.
