Im so on the fence rather i should give this place 3 or 4 stars.. The rooftop is beautiful and seating was abundant and the drinks were flowing! I get hung up on our arrive. We showed up behind a few couples in which i heard the hostess tell the first couple that seating outdoors was first come first serve and was currently standing only but they could go look around to see if they could find a table. Since a few of my friends went to the rest room, i figured id go look at the rooftop and see what was available. i walked right in to a sofa section empty, asked the waitress if i could sit and she said yes. SUPER polite and nice. Meanwhile my friends came out of the rest room and were told that the rooftop was full (it wasnt) and that there would be a couple hour wait. I didnt know any of that and sent a text to tell them i had a table. The hostess was not happy but allowed them to come in. Meanwhile it was practically empty and people were leaving it just seemed like the hostess didnt want US there.. everyone else were perfectly nice, drinks were made well and the music was ok. We all enjoyed a couple of drinks and moved on to the next part of our night. I dont want to make assumptions but i dont like the way things were handled. read more

Knoxville's supposed premiere rooftop cocktail lounge missing the mark BIG TIME. During our experience, which we cut short, our server was unprofessional, unhelpful and dismissive the entire time. My "pre-batched" cocktail was sweet so I asked for a splash more Compari (a liqueur) and a splash more lime juice; she came back to tell me they can't do that, that they could sell me a shot. I explained what a splash meant and then asked if she could take the cocktail back to the bartender to ask him/her to make the adjustments. She came back with another "we can't" add more alcohol to a cocktail and again suggested a shot as the solution. She was young and inexperienced, sadly. But a bartender mixing $$$ "craft cocktails" should know to be more than accommodating on such a simple request, especially in what is supposed to be an upscale establishment. As long as your tail is covered, you're probably good. The views of the mountains and city streets make one recall such other life events as standing on a tenth story rooftop and looking around. A little disappointed, the igloo was cold so we moved to another one and it was cold as well. Ordered drinks and small plates, one of the small plates was supposed to have a sauce on it, we got dry noodles. I had to go and find the waitress and then the manager brought a small dish of sauce, the right thing to do would have been have the kitchen make a new one that was prepared correctly and brought it out. The waitress was probably over whelmed with too many customers, but we had to find her and pay the bill, we did not meet the minimum $200 because we were never check on and offered another drink, we told them we were over it. We left and went o dinner at Two Fin, that was great. They just don't pay attention to details since this was suppose to be a birthday experience, they never acknowledge that and were told when making the reservation. Sorry, won't go back . This place really needs to step it up! This is supposed to be a premiere rooftop lounge. The service is untrained and unprofessional. With an online reservation for 2, and seated at a table, they required a credit card up-front to take our order. This isn't a college bar where I might walk out on the bill! The cocktail menu for this "cocktail lounge" is extremely tiny. And with Bourbon all the rage these days, there is only one Bourbon drink on the menu...an Old-fashioned. No creativity. But even worse, signature cocktails are pre-batched, and after more than one request, the server and bartender refused to even tweak the poor sugary Pinky Up cocktail with an additional splash of Campari (35 cents worth of product). The server seemed like she had no idea what she was doing, and the management staff members walking the floor were dressed in ratty blue jeans. Unprofessional, with no class whatsoever. What a waste of a gorgeous venue with a beautiful view. At $14 per cocktail in Knoxville, I expect way, way more. Go across the street to The Vault! read more

Arrived around 5 pm on a Friday afternoon and seating was mostly open. The view of the city and surrounding mountains make for a relaxing ambience while enjoying cocktails and a meal or just meeting with friends. We enjoyed a few cocktails and wine of which were well prepared. Bella was the waitress at our table and she was actively interacting without being overbearing. She was very knowledgeable regarding the offerings on the menu and cocktails, including off menu. Overall 5-star! read more

We've been here twice before and I rated it 4 or 5 stars. However, this night we came for three things, music, a drink, and dessert. The music was moved to Friday and they were out of dessert! It wouldn't be so bad if they EVER answered their phone, but they don't. I tried calling to verify they would have music on Wednesday night, as advertised. The weather prediction was poor, so they moved it to Friday. IF they would answer their phone, I would not have made a visit (to find out they were out of the only dessert they serve!). Btw, it's a digital menu. You would think it could be updated or the server would let you know before you order it. Anyway, it did, in fact, start to rain, so we finished our drinks inside and left. On the positive side, our server (and service) was great, and it's still the most amazing rooftop in Knoxville. read more

So basically me and another family went to this bar, we were served drinks all night. Then we're denied at the bar having a real I'd with us. The bartender preceded to watch us go back to our table with our families, and told the whole staff. The manager came up to us and interrogated us for 20 minutes when we had been served all night. They then precede to tell us to girls to leave and the bartender that started it at the beginning laughed at us and told us to get out. Then my dad who is a successful business man in the restaurant business preceded to ask why 23% gratuity was added to the check. And the MANAGER looked at him and said maybe ask the IRS and you better leave or I'm calling the cops on you, and proceeded to tell him he didn't want his money. This is disgusting behavior across the whole staff. My parents and the other family probably spent $500 together, and they were treated like this. No grown man should be told to have the cops called on him or talk to the IRS, for asking a reasonable question. I highly recommend no one to enter this bar unless you want to be treated like literal garbage. I have never been to a place in my life with such immature disgusting behavior. It is quite embarrassing that they are still open, and have 30 something year old managers talking to him old men the way they did. Having parents come up here and spend that much money and get treated like that is so unacceptable. You do not overcharge grown adults and then act like that. I have never been to a place in my life that treats people so unfair. The management at this place is utterly some of the rudest people I met. I would recommend that this a place to go if you want to be treated like absolute garbage. Imagine making a hotel like the Hyatt downtown look bad, because of a rooftop bar, that treats their customers like this. Great atmosphere - mountain view was great - fills up quickly, so if you want that experience, arrive early. Small plates and cocktails are really good. We had Wagyu Sliders and Chicken Satay - solid choices but there is variety - a charcuterie and hand roll sushi looked amazing. A must visit in Knoxville. read more

Have been here before and usually the drinks I get (old smoky) usually the drinks are pretty good however, tonight they were absolutely terrible. I'm super disappointed as we paid $50 just to reserve a spot and :$70 for 3 drinks just for the waitress to come around and say you're spot is reserved for someone else in 15 minutes.. The confirmation email never remarked that my reservation was a timed experience. (Which would've been fine I just would have liked a heads up) This honestly was a god awful experience and you can most definitely get better drinks elsewhere in Knoxville. Brother wolf and vida (not the vault) have amazing drinks. Please do not waste your money here. Customer service is consistently 0/10 and drinks out of a holiday I would give a minus if I could. Straight up tasted like they mixed my mezcal with water and tried to pass it off. never again will i attend this horrible establishment. our party of six was there for about 2 hours already having a good time until problems started to arise. my daughters went to the bathroom and when they came back they decided to stop at the bar. they had ordered drinks before but the bartender decides to stop them and accuse them of being underage, which of course they were not. two managers came over to our table and started mouthing off to us and putting flashlights on the DL's and interrogating my daughters. by now we are ready to leave. me my girls and a friend all went outside while my husband and friend were waiting to pay the bill. when my husband asked a simple question about the 22% automatic gratuity we were then told by the manager that he was going to call the police because we were causing way to much trouble. absolutely the most appalling behavior i've ever encountered. keep in mind our friends were staying at the Hyatt, they are frequent customers. we will never again be spending a penny at this "bar" or hotel. read more
