    My first avocado toast!
    Lance L.

If you are Generation Alpha.... Or even Gen Z.... I'm so sorry to break it to you.... But before you started this: 6 (Six) 7 (Seven) ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Nonsense... Us cooler, more hip, much more creative Millennials had.... FIVE07 baby!!! Haha That's right, if you're a Millennial, say it with me! FIVE 07 ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Ok! I'll Admit, it's definitely not as cool as your "6 7" but hey at least our Five07 has good coffee and good eats. What's up Now Gen Z!? Alright, enough Generation Rivalry. Let's get into this review, shall we? I have lived in Thousand Oaks since 97' and I've seen so many businesses, restaurants, & coffee spots come and go. Some of these eateries have found their niche, attracted a strong following and have thrived. Others have come, tried to reinvent the wheel and due to so many different factors, unfortunately have failed and didn't last long enough to see their potential. Well I am here to tell you... Five07 Coffee Bar and Eatery has from the beginning found their niche, grown their following and to this day, several years after being in business within the city of Thousand Oaks, have continued to thrive and quite honestly, it's so refreshing to see. Although I have only been through here a handful of times over the years, probably to just grab a coffee and go; in recent times I have actually come in with my family, sat down at one of their tables and enjoyed their amazing space. Maybe it's the simple menu, the taste of their coffee drinks, their kind staff, or just their overall sense of community, but Five07 has mastered their craft and they seem to be killing it! Literally every time I pass by here, there's always a crowd of people enjoying what this place has to offer. And if you're a local, you probably already know how good this place is, so I'm not telling you anything you don't already know. But if you're the new kid on the block... I'm pretty sure once you come to Five07, this is gonna be your new go-to spot. To Five07 and it's awesome team, keep doin your thang!

What a wonderful spot! The warm welcoming atmosphere is evident the moment I walked into the eatery. I saw tables with folks working on their laptops as well as folks reading and chatting with each other. This morning I enjoyed a cup of chai tea and although it was a bit sweet for my taste, the warming spices were tasty. Was a beautiful morning so sat outside in the fresh air. I'll be back, there were a lot of interesting food options as well as pastries to check out. It's a little challenging to find, so if you're standing facing the Vons grocery, 507 is tucked in on the right.

Rosebud latte I think? Valentines seasonal.

This is my go to weekend coffee spot! I love to try their fun seasonal coffee drinks, and they have cozy "for here" mugs to sit and enjoy in house. Great GF toast options, and the smoothies are made with real fruit. The ham and Gruyère croissant warned up is my pastry go-to.

Nice working vibe in this place. Almost everyone in there was working on a laptop. Staff was friendly and quick. I got my items to go and the sandwich held up on the ca ride. I got the French toast latte, iced. It was good, not necessarily French toast resemblance but the cinnamon was good. When in the area again I'd go back to try other items.

I love coming to Five07. The seating may be limited but I always enjoy sitting outside. The staff is friendly and the service has always been good. I enjoyed their avocado toast. The red pepper flakes give it an added zing. Overall, if it weren't for the steep prices I'd be here everyday. Definitely recommend for great coffee and food.

Every time I come back here I fall more and more in love with this place. From the warmed breakfast pastries to the delicious mochas, I find very little to complain about. Despite always being busy they bring your order out to you within a reasonable amount of time. After I had my warmed ham and cheese croissant, which was one of the best most flavorful ham and cheese croissants I've ever had, I opted for a warmed almond croissant to finish off my large mocha. Everything was good to the last drop or crumb. My only complaint is that all the outside tables appeared to be dirty, they could use a wipe down after each party. That and well like everything these days, it's pretty pricey. That's this critic's review, until next time, I'll be eating.

This place is great, they had a hip hop Christian playlist overhead when we were inside, lots of seating inside and outside, free wifi, outlets, the whole shebang. A lot of people around were working, catching up with friends, going on first dates, it was a fun place to get energy and people watch. But the drinks and food are miss or barely hit. The food looks great, the toasts are always gorgeous and delicious. The drinks were unfortunately, very disappointing. I got a large Kauai smoothie and it isn't bad, coconut water, pineapple, strawberry, and banana in a large (24oz) and it tastes like crunchy coconut water. But for $13 I feel like it could've been a lot better. A friend got the morning blend smoothie bowl ($16.50) and an iced London Fog (6) but also didn't like any of it in the end. Describing the London fog as the worst one in her entire life, and only ate the bananas on top of the smoothie bowl. I think personally it's on me that I didn't get one of their signatures, I am a BIG fan of almost every raspberry white mocha I had, but didn't end up getting them, will go next time! The pastries in the window looked so delicious too, but an almost $30 cafe visit is not in my budget as much as I hope it was. I love that they're so accommodating for different restrictions and life goals though, I have multiple friends who don't take seed oils, different milks, vegans, or gluten free and they have an option for literally everyone. I'm so glad they're here!

Love the atmosphere but cleanliness is critical and my mug was so gross that even the server agreed she would never drink out of it. Stuff happens but you want to eat/drink in a place where this would not go unnoticed. Menu is pretty good and so is the service.

Order at the counter, then they'll bring it to your table, all done with a smile and great service. Tables are inside and outside. I got the cinnamon chai dirty and it was fine but still a little too sweet. We also got a cappuccino which was wonderful. The almond croissant was also wonderful, the cinnamon roll not so much. It's a bit dry. More more more!

I was passing through Thousand Oaks running errands and was wanting a good latte, so I stopped here. I got the Maple Leaf Latte! It was really good, and not too sweet but fairly expensive. The guys working were really nice and cheerful. The coffee bar itself is pretty chill and there are lots of tables. There were several people working on laptops, enjoying coffee. Very spacious!

Nice spot that's been around a while now and is a great local coffee shop! I got a lavender iced coffee which tasted great, and a ham and cheese croissant which actually was not my favorite. Nice people, good service, and nice indoor or outdoor seating options!

Super pricey for just a sandwich and a small coffee. Sandwich was like $18 bucks and it was the size of my hand... it was just basic ingredients in there. Nothing special. What a rip off. The pumpkin drink I got was OK and mediocre. Should've gone to coffee bean instead tbh..

I also love their acai so much. I especially loved the one with the dates. It was rich, naturally sweet, and super satisfying. The avocado toasts are also really good. We parked in the lot next to it and walked in where there was no line, but a couple of people who already ordered and were waiting for their bowls and such. I was unsure of what to order, what the differences were, and if their açaí had any dairy in it. The guy behind the counter was confident and was able to tell me that they're dairy free and that the build your own bowls are the same price as the pre-made selected ones that were also on the menu. He was incredibly helpful and made the experience not feel awkward. Everyone there just seemed so happy to be there and it had a good vibe. After ordering, we sat down and waited 5-10 minutes or so for our 2 medium sized açaí bowls. The mediums are about 24oz. of product, which sounded like a lot to me, but I was able to finish in one sitting. The açaí was so authentic tasting vs. a sugary smoothie tasting one. The honey on top was a free option as well which was nice. Overall, a bowl is around $15-$16 plus tax, but for a medium bowl was around $18/$19 plus tax. It's definitely a little on the pricier side, especially when a meal on average is $15 or so. With the surrounding area also being families and students, I feel like I would go there more if they were just a couple dollars cheaper, but I don't mind paying it if it's every once in a while.

I've been to Ubatuba many times and have visited several of your locations without issue…read more Unfortunately, I recently had a disappointing experience that I feel should be addressed. When I arrived, I was greeted and waited to place my order. An employee suggested that I use one of the kiosks instead. I noticed several customers waiting to order, so I decided to place my order directly through the Ubatuba website on my phone while inside the restaurant. After ordering, I waited quite a while. During that time, I noticed customers who had arrived after me receiving their orders first. Eventually, I heard my name called, went to pick up the order, and returned to my car. Once I got to my car, I realized the bowl I had received was not my order. I immediately returned to the restaurant to let the staff know. The employee took the bowl, threw it away, and said, "Yeah, I know you took her order. Next time listen for your name." I found that comment both unfair and unprofessional. This was clearly an honest mistake. I genuinely believed I had heard my name called. If I had intentionally taken someone else's order, I certainly would not have returned to correct the mistake. The employee then told me that I had placed my order through DoorDash and that my order was separated from the others. This was confusing because I did not place my order through DoorDash; I ordered directly through the Ubatuba website. If the company uses a third-party system behind the scenes, that is not something customers are made aware of during the ordering process. Mistakes happen, and I understand that. What was disappointing was not the mix-up itself, but the way the situation was handled. A simple explanation or a courteous response would have gone a long way. Instead, I was made to feel as though I had done something wrong when I was trying to correct an honest mistake. I have always enjoyed Ubatuba and have had positive experiences in the past, which is why this interaction stood out. I hope situations like this are handled so future customers are treated with more professionalism and respect.

We were disappointed, though, by the lack of options and short staff that resulted in an incredibly long wait time. When we arrived, there was only one party ahead of us with 3 people in it who wanted 3 smoothies. Additionally, when we looked at the menu, we noticed that there was literally only one option that didn't have dairy in it. When we got to the counter, I asked the cashier if there were any non-dairy substitutes. She froze and said she didn't know, and then she recommended Chobani yogurt...which was still dairy...She said there weren't any smoothies with no dairy, although I had only found one on the menu. We ordered and then proceeded to wait around 20-25 minutes. There was only one cashier and what looked like the owner working. Since they were understaffed and realistically should have probably had at least one other person working, it was a huge turn-off in coming back again, especially since there wasn't a huge line to begin with. There ended up being people that came in after us and I know if I was on my lunch break from one of the next door stores in the shopping center, that I wouldn't be able to come here because of how long it takes alone. The smoothies themselves were good, but for someone who is dairy-free, I won't be coming back since the only real substantial smoothie that they can make is the one option. I don't want to have a watered down smoothie or one that has a weird consistency that's on their menu with dairy already. My mom and sister liked theirs, but regretted waiting as long as we did. I'd love to support them if they ever decide to expand their menu and have dairy alternatives, as I think the majority of LA and the surrounding areas would also appreciate it. I think hiring more than one person would help the speed of things and secure more of a loyal customer base that's possible in Westlake Village.
