Love the ambiance- there are always a lot of people here studying and getting work done so this is a good place to do so. The service is always great here-staff are very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable about their products. As for the food the acai bowls are very tasty and I love their matcha!! read more

This place seems like a place to socialize with friends and family for morning coffees and breakfast. I order an acai bowl and tried the green tea at this place. The acai bowl came out smaller than I expected. The bowl had a small diameter where the first layer of the acai bowl were toppings. Say if the bowl was wider, there would be more toppings, but in this case, the layer of toppings was quite thing and so it was a little disappointing when I ran out of granola or bananas quicker than anticipated. The green tea I got tasted delicious! That too came out smaller than I expected. The reason I was expecting the acai bowl and green tea to come out larger was because of the price. The price of the acai bowl was about $12, and the green tea was about $5. I know from experience that acai bowls tend to be pricier, but I guess I didn't expect it to come out smaller than other acai bowls I have gotten in the past. The green tea was pricey as the size of it was about a Starbucks tall, but the price was more than a Starbucks tall. The waiters and waitresses were very friendly. All wore masks, but social distancing or masks were not enforced. I actually felt quite uncomfortable as people didn't take care to social distance or wear a mask (at minimum) when walking past within breathing distance of someone. Also this place is next to a laundromat, and there were lots of used dryer sheets around the area. Overall, I most likely would not come back to this place. The vibes and atmosphere is great, but it's a place that seems a bit over my budget that I'm willing to spend for coffee and foods. read more

Is it too much to say that the vegan maple ginger chai changed my life? It was so good. Slightly sweet, deliciously ginger forward, it was the perfect afternoon treat for myself. I was just stopping in for a drink, but I'm definitely going to have to come back and try the food here, too. Cool vibe. Love the artwork in this café. I'll be back! read more

Five07 has become a popular spot in the TO community since it first opened. I especially appreciate the vegan and gluten free items they offer. I myself don't need to eat vegan nor gluten free food, but I always appreciate restaurants that offer inclusive options. I've only tried their drinks, so I am unable to comment on the food. The menu has a lovely variety of items including smoothies and açaí bowls. I came in this morning to grab an iced latte to go. Given how crowded it was, I was surprised that I got my drink in less than five minutes. Customer service was friendly, and I was warmly greeted by the staff. My drink came out great, and I liked how they didn't put in too much ice. In addition to indoor seating, there are tables outside. Be prepared for a crowd on weekends. Parking is never an issue; even if you can't get a spot in front of the establishment, you can easily get a spot close by, for the place is located in a strip mall. Prices are on the high end, but the quality of the products justify them in my opinion. If you are looking for a casual coffee shop with a variety of products to offer, I highly recommend trying out Five07. read more

Definitely not at the level of Beacon Coffee Company out in Ojai but slightly better than Starbucks. Drinks: iced dark mocha latte met expectations (wife also said it was good which says a lot) she ordered an iced cold brew and tbh Peet's is much better. Food: just no. We got Cinnamon Toast Crunch and the GF vegan muffin and both were disappointments. Ample outdoor seating for a Saturday morning. Might return for drinks only. Okay vibes overall. read more

Fantastic local coffee shop. The space is welcoming and open, with indoor and outdoor seating. The staff is friendly and attentive! The coffee is high quality and very tasty. There are tons of flavor options and they have every type of milk substitute you might need. The smoothie bowls are delicious and they even have added style, great presentation. I've had their avocado toast before and it's GREAT. You can dress it up to be fancier or more simple but again the presentation is done very well. The only downside is the higher prices, but you get such high quality and presentation - plus it's a charming local spot- that it's worth the price tag. read more

What an awesome local coffee house! The food/drink situation: YUMMY!! I've been here several times and it's always been so good! At this specific visit I got the avocado toast with arugula and the vegan maple ginger chai tea latte. Both were delicious!! The avocado toast was presented beautifully. The portion was large for only being $5.50 (+$1 for arugula). The drink was great! A little sweet for my liking but was still great. It was made with oat milk and the ginger added a special little kick too. The vibe: a super cute and trendy little coffee shop. The decor is mismatched which gives it the cute charm. It has ample seating from bean bags, to high top tables, to low top tables, and a bar. All the employees are super friendly and helpful. They even have live music and other events (which I need to check out!!). And the owners are Cal lu alum!! Will I be back? Most definitely! read more

The location is a bit deep in TO which was not very convenient to get to but it was a really nice big coffee shop. The kind of place where you can post up for a couple hours and work on your shit. I got a large latte which had 3 shots of coffee and it was very very good, actually surprised me. It's hard to get larger latte's done right because you either get too much milk or not enough espresso taste, which is a bummer. but this place nailed it on the dot. The only thing that made me sad was the price. It was almost close to $7 which wow, that is expensive af for coffee .... especially in TO? LIKE WTF, but low key still support the business. If you are a broke b tho, might want to skip this out. read more

I'll start with the negatives first, since there aren't that many. It's quite loud inside. I always see people working, and I have no idea how they're able to concentrate with the music being as loud as it is. Aesthetically, the inside of the cafe can look a little more cleaned up. It looks like the restaurant just opened and they haven't unpacked everything yet? Otherwise, this is a great place for lunch, coffee, and pastries. The staff is so friendly! There's plenty of seating if you want to order in. I've sampled several things on the menu, and so far my favorites (and reasons why I rated five stars) are the Ahlia Latte and the maple donut. They have a nice variety of toasts too and all of them are solid. The lavender toast is beautiful! I don't like goat cheese, but the pictures make it look so good. This is my favorite cafe in the TO area. Highly recommend! read more

I am not a fan of the Coffee House with the green umbrellas, I don't like their coffee nor the big hype. And I found this place in the same plaza here at the TO and it is a nice surprise! delicious coffee, delicious pastry and the service is outstanding! FIVE07 Coffee Bar... nice job!! Highly recommend. Wait! Forgot to add that when I walked in it looked like a university hall, packed with people on their laptops and books and stuff. Great ambiance! Loved this place. read more

So me and fam needed to get out on a Sunday. There's not enough places to go hang out and socialize anymore. The beach is out today for us and no one goes to the mall anymore so we headed over to fiveO7 to enjoy some sneks and some coffee in somewhere that isn't the house. I know you can go hit up the Starbucks and get your quick fix but wouldn't you rather actually enjoy yourself? That's what five07 is. A place where you can come live. Locally owned. Friendly staff. Good food and great cups of yummyness (it's a word look it up). Come on by and don't forget to leave a nice tip for the staff. They are here to make your stay pleasant. read more

Was passing through town and and it just so happened to be latte time, the reviews on yelp were good so I gave it a go. The iced monk fruit vanilla latte was so good, even better was how friendly the baristas were!! Plenty of seating and very clean... the music being piped is wasn't too loud and the price was excellent for the quality. read more

This place is definitely a vibe, on a Saturday it is filled inside and outside of people. Great place to "work from home" plenty of seating and the food is different. The staff was super friendly. It was really busy mid-day on a Friday, and the drink I had was really good (ginger chai)! I also tried the toast, which was really well-made. The only comment I would have is in regard to the price of the toast, not worth it in my opinion. Great ambiance overall and will definitely visit again and try another menu item. read more

Absolutely fantastic coffee served in really cool flatware. Lots of choices of custom drinks. Fresh baked goods galore. Even though I didn't try one of the non-bakery menu items, they were coming out at tables next to me and looked fantastic. Everyone is really nice and there's plenty of outdoor seating if that's preferred. Will definitely be back again soon. read more

I love this place! Looking for a new coffee shop to do some work, study, or just need a change of scenery then check this place out! I love that the owner is a CLU alum. I would deserve this coffee shop as the new college coffee shop! It's very "hip" and you see it the minute you walk in with the menu written in scroll paper and the furniture being all mismatched. It has its own vibe and I absolutely love it. The prices are a little higher but to be honest, it's worth it! Love this place! So, so glad every time I return to Thousand Oaks and see Five07 thriving. Can we talk about how wonderful all the team members are? I've always been greeted and served by the most considerate, kind, and patient folks. Just got the iced lavender mocha today, one of several fabulous lavender drink offerings, with coconut milk substitution. I'm floating in subtle floral earthiness! And the ample outdoor seating is so perfect for work and study sessions. There's a lot to like about Five 07, but it's far from love. Came here to check out the digs, grab a coffee and bite, and work. Very hard to do successfully, and the top reason why in the "NOT LIKE" category: NOT LIKE -- In the afternoon, this is a giggly hangout for high school and middle schools. Nope. This I don't like, the feel is like the cafeteria at school. ALMOST LIKE -- the décor. Some original artwork was cool, but the warehouse-like space, varied seating, and either bare walls or high school-like murals. LIKE -- the menu, full of good stuff: Avocado Toast ($5, 4.0 stars), Lavender Honey toast ($5), Crepes ($9), and Panini's ($10). LOTSA LIKE -- specialty coffee drinks like Candy Cane Mocha ($5, 4.5 stars) was quite outstanding. LOVE -- they have the most amazing staff. This place was recommended to me and being a coffee lover, I had to try it out. What I ordered: 16 oz iced maple latte (no special milks or add ons) What I got: 20oz iced maple latte The price: $9.12 This to me is outrageous. I don't even think I've seen this price in higher end specialty coffee shops. When I mentioned that it was expensive, the employee blamed it on inflation. Even with inflation, this price seems outrageously steep. I regretted the purchase even before receiving the drink. The service: People seemed friendly. Only complaint is that I asked for a 16oz drink and was given a 20oz drink instead. Pretty sure I got charged incorrectly for the larger size as well. By the time I realized all this, I was already on the road. Added to the frustration of paying such a high price for good coffee that wasn't any better than other good coffee places. The coffee: The coffee was good, if it weren't for the crazy high price, I'd come again. But it also wasn't THAT good to charge such an insane price for what appeared to be average coffee in the specialty coffee world. If it seems like I'm hung up on the price, I am. It's absolutely ridiculous, even considering inflation. $9 for a coffee without any special types of milk or add one is just wrong. If you don't mind paying this price, by all means, sip away. I won't be back. read more

Four stars for service and good coffee. I grew up in TO, but have since moved away and away. Came back this afternoon for an event at the high school, and needed a place to work for a few hours. Ended up here. Got a panini called the Confucius (why?!), and wish it had more portabello mushrooms in it, but it was fairly tasty. Almond iced latte was also good. It does get a bit crowded at times during the afternoon, and then at other times, it would die down. Seems like things rotate through fairly quickly. Oh, weird incident though, having nothing to do with the cafe itself --- my friend's smoothie got stolen by another customer! The staff was very nice about it and gave her another one, but were really befuddled at why this woman (who had ordered a tea, but took the smoothie), would do something so bold... in broad daylight too! What a pleasant coffee spot. Each time the person taking our order has been so helpful helping us decide on what kind of a drink we were hoping for. Each time that person has been well aware of all of their options and has been able to give us great advice. Their coffee has such a smooth taste to it making it really enjoyable. It's a fun place to sit and enjoy our drink because of how many people frequent this shop. It was ok. I got a vanilla cappuccino and it was chalky tasting. The avocado toast was good. Overall, I came for the coffee. Ambiance is nice but it's very packed in there. I went at 11am on a weekday. There was only one seat left. Maybe that is the reason for the coffee tasting the way it did, with all the influx of customers. read more

It's a causal scene and easy to soak in the live music, sunlight/moonlight, and neighborly banter. The layout resembles an alley with shops on either side, big open doors invite you to grab something to eat, sample a drink, or shop for handmade gifts. On one side, you've got craft brews and coffee roasters. On the other side, it's local wines and piping hot pizzas. Dogs are welcome all around. At the center of it all, there's live music on the weekends. Modeled after a Beer & Wine Garden concept, The Alley features Enegren Brewery (beer), Lucas Sellers (wine), California Coffee Republic (java), Fire & Vice (pizza), and The Craft House (non-alcoholic tchotchkes). As a self-proclaimed wino, I opted for a sampling of the Lucas Sellers Wines. Ashley, who was behind the bar and top of the pours, gave me good suggestions and offered anecdotes about each wine on tap. At the end of the night, my light pinot paired perfectly with the Mushroom Arugula pizza from Fire & Vice. And I felt right at home, surrounded by friends.
