This is my second time getting one of my vehicles repaired at Fix Auto Downtown El Monte. The first time, they did a great job and offered excellent service. I didn't get around to posting a review then. This time around, I once again received such great excellent service that I feel it warrants my two cents although judging from their rating, they don't need it. This is a legit place to take your vehicle in should you ever need body shop work. My 2 trips to Fix Auto were due to accidents not of my own fault and both times, Fix Auto demonstrated superb professionalism and workmanship. From the moment you select them as the repair shop for your vehicle to the time you pick it up, you're never left second guessing if you'd made the right choice. They have an efficient flow of communications and keep you posted via text messages the progress as well as estimated time of repair completion. Once completed, they detail your car in and out so when you're picking your vehicle, not only is it fixed good as new but looks clean as if you're driving it off a dealership lot. Enough said. Chris was very transparent about what needed fixing and which repairs would be solely cosmetic. He hooked me up with a great price and didn't pressure me to do more work than necessary. 5 stars all the way on price, customer service, and quality of repair!!! I'm not surprised they have an average 5 stars on yelp. Autowerks were highly recommended by a friend and I decided to take my car here for a minor repair. I was told the fender would probably need to be replaced if I want it to be repaired as new. So i was cringing on blowing more money on a brand new part and what will make it worst was that I was going to pay out of pocket. David was very understanding with my situation and said he was able to repair the damage without replacing the parts!!! On top of that, he said that since there was metallic in the paint, it will take a few more days to make sure the paint was an exact match. David said he can arrange a car rental and the repair will take about 3-4 days. I was a little skeptical on the work and didn't know what to expect. When I got the car back, i was so impressed with his work. The repair was completely fixed as new. The car paint matched and he was able to exceed my expectation and finished in 3 days!!!! I definitely will come back and refer more friends to him. David made my headache go right away after seeing my car. This was the smoothest transaction and David was easy to work with. My Subaru WRX was rear-ended prior to my last shift of 2022 and even though the other driver's insurance took forever to get in touch with me to get my repairs started and tried to have me go to a different non-Subaru Certified Collision Center shop, I'm glad I was able to work with Corina and her crew here at Fix Auto Downtown El Monte. The shop is small and busy, but that's a testament to the work that they do. I had to wait a little bit longer as well, but due to supply chain issues and making sure that I get OEM parts for my repair, it was well worth it. They took care of the little nitpicks that I had for my car after my crash and they reported how extensive my car's rear collision damage was. My car uses an all-wheel-drive system and I was glad to have driven out of there with the car feeling like the first day that I got it. I came in for a quote on my Tesla Model 3. The receptionist in the front told me that the estimators were in a meeting and to have a seat until they got back. The parts coordinator name Dave was available and was able to assist me and gave me a quote, didn't expect to be so expensive. I was refer by my cousin and seeing how they are 5-stars, I gave them a try and I can tell you now that I have never regretted it. Bill was the first person I talked to and came across with after getting hit (on the left front passenger side) by a Disney truck when waiting at the red light. He kept me updated and posted really well. Also, safe keep notes on my LED lights (when doing service on my car or in the future) under my car, and helped me put it back on together when it fall apart during his own free-time; excellent customer service. I thought he was the owner since he helped me throughout the process step-by-steps very well-manner. Peter (who is actually the owner) came in later after I got a few more accidents, and had to stop by again. Every time when Peter released my car out of the lot, I feel like I am coming out with a new car. He always does the "quality control" before leasing the car out to me; very professional and never had any other auto shop does that before. It shows that they care and want to make sure you leave the right way and leave happy as well. I trust them so much that if I was in a hurry or to save them time, I would skip the "quality control" since I am so familiar with their work. David noticed how close I lived, so he helped offer to give me a ride back home after I drop my car off once (to save me the trouble of finding a ride). And continued to offer me that great ride service every time when I drop my car off (will take upon the offer if and only if I don't have a ride). He also picked up most of my phone calls and recognized me every time; either good memory or the only Dan (with a Corvette) that stops by a lot. He also went beyond customer service, and helped me out with my front bummer alignment together after a couple of days when I got it back out and it got shifted to the right a little (maybe from hitting a curbed since I don't remember them returning my car back like that). Been a rough months for me, brought my car in 3 times for the same minor issues. Got hit 3 different times while in park mode on my front bummer because they didn't see me and how low my car is. They took good care of my car, detail and wash it, and best of all they save my time and trouble by handling all the paper work with the insurance (since I don't know much about that). So YES, I trust my White Knightmare (2015 Corvette) with their crew (who can you expect better when it comes to beyond customer service and the quality work they put in for you and your car), and now the only shop I go to when my car(s) get into a accident. And when people asked where they should take their car to after a accident, I would refer them to here!
