My recent encounter with Fix Auto in Lake Elsinore has been nothing short of a nightmare. I brought my car to this establishment for what should have been a straightforward repair job, but it turned into a series of mishaps and disappointments that I would not wish upon anyone. The primary reason for my visit was to address damage done to my car. After a week of waiting for the repairs to be completed, I was horrified to find my dash cam disconnected and its cord carelessly pulled out and left hanging. This is inexcusable negligence on their part. To make matters worse, the paint job was a disaster. The clear coat was uneven and sharp in some areas, clearly indicating a lack of attention to detail and craftsmanship. Thinking that the issues could be resolved, I returned my car to Fix Auto, where I was assured that they would rectify the problems. However, a week later, upon picking up my car again, I found that many of the paint imperfections were still present, and to my shock, there were now additional scratches on the trim that were not there before. This is utterly unacceptable, and it reflects a complete lack of professionalism and This is not my first encounter with Fix Auto Lake Elsinore's incompetence. Over a year ago, I tried to set up meetings with them to address another issue with my vehicle, and on two separate occasions, they demonstrated a complete lack of knowledge and understanding of the situation. I had to resort to taking my car to the Murrieta location, where they were able to diagnose and address the problem promptly. In conclusion, I strongly advise against using Fix Auto in Lake Elsinore. Their disregard for their customers' time, their consistent lack of competence, and their subpar workmanship make them an establishment to avoid at all costs. My truck had some damage when a deer stepped out in front of us in Coarsegold, CA. Once I returned home, my insurance gave me some names of places to go. I tried Fix and they give me the best price and we're very hospitable. They had my truck for a couple of weeks and it was returned in very nice condition. The only downside was the passenger-side headlamp and fog lights had been damaged, which were replaced. On the driver's-side, although they buffed out the headlight and fog light, it wasn't the same as the new units, obviously. The other was they replaced the passenger-side turn signal bulb, which was a different color than the driver's side. Just a little attention to detail. Other than that, they did a fantastic job and the other small details are fixable. Great job, Fix! read more

The word PATHETIC best describes this business and employees... My 91 year old father went to pick up his car and was told they don't accept checks., He then offered a Creditcard, but they wanted to charge him 3% of the total invoice or pay in cash. He didn't have that much cash and said he would return tomorrow. They allowed him to walk away in 90-degree weather and didn't even offer him a ride. I called there and asked to speak to a manager and was told there a corporation, there are no managers and was hung up on. These folks do not care or conduct themselves in any decent way... I'm sure the only way they get business is through insurance referrals and seriously doubt they get return any customers. Insurance company's should beware of who you refer your customers too... This shop is a joke.. $1300 out of pocket and 3 weeks later I pull my truck out of the shop with a Radiator leak that it seems as if you are all willing to wash your hands of.. No worries.. Insurance has documentation of customer claiming the fluid leak so nothing more is needed from your shop, Temecula Valley Toyota will be handling the supplemental damage properly as should have happened originally.. shame on you.. Was just helped by Karina and she was extremely rude. Seems like an insurance scam. I was there getting a free quote for a small dent on the back of my vehicle.I told her I was paying out of pocket and she insisted I divulge my insurance to her "because she knows how insurance works". I told her I did not want to go through my insurance for such a small dent that no one else was involved in, just me and the wall I own.She quoted me double what another body shop just quoted me. After letting her know, she got extremely snippy, rushed through the inspection. Inside the office she continued to harass my wife and I by talking loudly to her colleagues that she would never get the color of car I have. She also told her colleagues that this was my third quote and said ," what does he need, 18 quotes to make a decision !" Worst place ever ! Picked this place to get fixed through insurance and dropped my car off with a 7 day pickup then it turned into 2 weeks then a MONTH & 1 week . Paid out of pocket for the rental and they kept extending repairs. After picking up my vehicle I was COMPLETELY IN SHOCK & DISAPPOINTED. My bumper did not fit , it looked like it was dragged because there was a lip at the bottom, the emblem was still missing on my trunk, the car was not aligned, big gaps in trunk, car drives completely different they told me because my battery was disconnected the car reset and more. After mentioning my concerns the tech pretty much made me seem crazy and everything was ok. So I called my insurance and it was escalated. Insurance adjuster came out and was completely in shock with the work. Insurance made the arrangements to have it fixed correctly so they called to schedule and told me they don't rent cars for me to get to work I would have to rent myself I refused after spending 1200 on a rental there was no way. So months later they had no choice but to rent me a car and try to repair what they did not complete. Customer service was horrible, lady pretty much laughed in my face. I was not satisfied with the quality of the repaint from the dealer, but after coming here I was amazed at how perfect it was! I've worked with auto body repair shops before. Fix Auto is 5 Stars above any shop I have ever worked with. They were professional and friendly and did an amazing job on my car! The assured me that they would work directly with my insurance company and that I had nothing to worry about, they would handle everything. And, they did! I never had to call my insurance company again once Fix Auto started the process. The final estimate was higher than the initial estimate because they insisted on doing the repairs right. They worked with the insurance company and I didn't have to negotiate, they just called and said it was taken care of. The either called or texted me every day to give me a progress reports on my car. Amazing! They communicated with me every day! Brought my car in for an insurance claim. Adjuster Carri never even touched the wheel and told my insurance company it was curb rash from a prior accident. It was powder from the bumper that ripped around from impact and rubbed the front wheel. Now it's a big deal to get my bumper replaced and I have a video to prove it's powder. I took my car here as reccomended by my insurance company. I wrote a huge review with photos showing the company was parking cars out in the street overnight. Not to mention the estimate they did looked like an1 year old wrote it up. Yelp removed the review saying it was "collision pros" not "fix it" doing the outdoor parking. Not true. This company is a joke. They, Fix it!!! Not collision pros. I have no experience with collision pros. Looks like they "fix it" have grandfathered in on some reviews from a former business as well (z best).. This is a chain and they are horrible to work with. I also have a written copy of the the estimate. Run, don't walk away from this hack business. They messaged me (fix it) to say they don't work with geico, while they have a geico sign out front and met me for my appointment, then went a a step further to say they are not located on pasadena street.... weird, shows you are on pasadena. I fall into the auto collision repair section when it comes to Z Best. My husband was waiting in line at the gas station, not moving, and got nailed by a woman that was not paying a bit of attention. This was our first encounter with accidents and needing to call in a claim. Luckily, it was pretty easy. The lady's insurance company suggested Z Best and I was happy to oblige in using them. It seemed to be easier to use a place that the insurance company was used to working with. Then I wouldn't have to deal with additional problems, i figured. I called Z Best to check if I needed to make an appointment, they said just bring it in! I stopped in first thing on a Monday. The adjustor Michelle was a breeze to work with and friendly. She advised Kia parts take a few extra days to come in so it would be around a week for completion. That was OK with me. All in all, any time I had a question someone was on the other end of the line with an answer. Super friendly staff. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Second Timer but this time my wife's car got hit. So we took her Honda in to Z-Best for repair. The back was hit and bumper had a hole in it. So it had to be replaced. The first bumper that Z-Best got in to repair our bumper did not meet their high standards so we had a couple of days delay but the wait was worth it. The car is a 2003 Honda Accord and looks almost new thanks to Z-Best. If you want your car repaired right take it to Z-Best because around here they are THE BEST! read more

I brought my car here to have body work done after hitting a deer. Part of the body work was to realign my headlights. When I picked up my car, the lights were set too low and I could only see at night if my brights were on. I took it back and the tech said he can gauge where they need to be by where they point at on his body. I picked it up again and the lights were still off. We never went back. I was just told by my mechanic that a reputable body shop would have a head light machine and apparently they don't have one.
