To Whom It May Concern: On April 3, 2016, I brought in my 2012 Nissan Juke to be repaired due to an accident to Fix It Auto Collison Ontario. My vehicle needed to have the bumper and rear frame damage replaced/repaired, in addition to my windshield. I had a previous vehicle repaired at Fix It Auto Ontario and had received great service that naturally I went to the same company for this car. Unfortunately, the Ontario location was extremely busy so they shipped my vehicle to the Montclair location for the repair. I didn't have much of an issue with that because I figured that I would be receiving the same great service. However, this was not the case. My vehicle was shipped back to Ontario and when I picked it up, I noticed that there were a few things out of place, missing parts and my radar detector device was stolen! The trunk was not aligned correctly when closed. There was a gap wider on one side than the other and my muffler was out of place and hanging low. The front grill bolt and the A/C handle were gone and so was my radar detector device. They were able to fix the trunk misalignment at Ontario, but they informed that the other issues would have to be directed to Montclair. I contacted the General Manager, Brent Triplett, via email on May 5th, 2016 to address these findings and he said that these things could be resolved relatively fast and that he would replace my detector if it had in fact gone missing. I was pleasantly surprised with the way Mr. Triplett responded to my claims. Mr. Triplett said that he had to contact the dealership for the A/C handle, but have not heard back yet. Additionally, in regards to the muffler, in which he said could be fixed quickly, they wanted me to call and make an appointment with an outsourced vendor and get it fixed. It's not that I have a problem with calling to make an appointment, but it's the inconvenience of having to do it all that I'm factoring into this service. After a month, I heard back that they had found my radar detector, but it's broken! Not only did someone steal my device, but they returned it back incomplete. This is a $600 device and it's useless. Mr. Triplett had agreed to replace it if they could not find it, but they just handed over a broken device that I can no longer use. Furthermore, my muffler still has not been fixed and my windshield is cracked. When I authorized the repairs, I specifically requested that they windshield be a certified Nissan windshield as it withstands against objects hitting it and prolongs the effects of a broken windshield, but the windshield installed is not a certified Nissan part and it's now cracked. I must say that I'm extremely disappointed in the end results: missing parts, stolen private property (device), ill-positioned muffler & trunk, and defective windshield. Overall, the service I received was careless, incogitant and terrible. Could this have been avoided if the work was done at the Ontario location? I'm not sure that I'm willing to take that chance next time around or refer anyone to Fix It Auto. read more

You are taking your chances if you come here. They fix one thing and mess up another. Unless you have a lot of time in your hands to follow up, I would say take it somewhere else. I had my car there, Inifinitti G35 for five weeks. Went in for a simple front bumper and side impact repair. Return twice because they neglected to install the bumpter correctly, had a faulty headlight when it originally was fine, and had black paint on all four of my rims. And of course, nothing is their fault. Horrible experience to say the least. read more

Came here and the estimated time frame for repair was 3 days and vehicle was ready in 2 days. When I received my vehicle back it was detailed and my headlights were restored. My car looked like new. The staff was very friendly. I would strongly recommend this shop. read more

To date, I have had both my vehicles (2007 Honda Civic and 2007 Honda Odyssey) repaired at this Fix Auto location. Most recently, this morning for a side mirror replacement on the Odyssey. On every occasion, they have proven quick, courteous, fair, and have delivered excellent quality!! HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Finding a collision center after an accident is a hard thing to do, but I came here after several family members recommended Fix Auto. I was beyond happy with their customer service. I brought my car here after getting several other quotes and Jeffery was more informative than the other people from other shops. The best part is that he was able to return my car after 4 days and kept me updated the whole way through. I can't say that all repairs are going to be that fast, but he listened to my car situation and did the best to get my car back ASAP! I got my car back and it looks brand new :) I was worried that the work would look rushed, but it looks better than before (if that's even possible). I would definitely recommend this place! The only con is their hours. They're only open on the weekdays and close at 5. BUT if u ask, they might be able to stay a little longer on Fridays. read more

Great place!! Don't look anywhere else for car repairs. We had such a great overall experience dealing with fix auto and Kyle took absolute great care of us. We were at a stop and were hit from behind at over 50mph; despite this, Mercury insurance continued to give us the run around and took over a month to approve the repairs (they're awful!!). Kyle and the team at fix auto made the process so stress free and easy once we got it in the shop. OH and the car came out looking better than it did before..great job! You won't be disappointed in fix auto. read more

This is an awesome place to take your car to get fixed! Our auto insurance sent us here after we got rear ended and not only did they keep us up to date with the car repair, they also cleaned the inside and outside of the car for us and went above and beyond to meet our needs! I must say; The guys and gals (Stephanie) at Fix It Auto, Montclair location, are certainly a class of their own. While driving to work on the 60 during the early wee hours, my auto had an unfortunate encounter with some type of heavy debris. As you can see in the photo the lower bumper just beneath the grill took the full brunt at highway speed. Needless to say, I was pretty irate. I called "Fix" on the recommendation of Honda. I brought my car in later that afternoon with a fair quote in hand and left it there the following Monday. I picked up my Si, a day later and my beloved Civic looked factory new. The techs at this place know their "stuff". Steve "The Italian" is a cool and personable dude that is easy to work with! With that being said; if you are "picky" about quality work, get several quotes if needed, but give these guys a holler first! This is an unbiased review as a first time customer. read more

I was referred to Fix Auto by my insurance company. After checking their reviews on Yelp I decided to take my car to them for repair on my rear bumper. Stephanie provided excellent customer service throughout the entire process and the team kept me up to date at regular intervals regarding completion. My car was ready on time and looked absolutely beautiful! Not only did they do excellent work on my bumper but they cleaned the interior floor, vacuuming out some glass missed by a previous body shop that replaced my windshield. They had even cleaned my floor mats. I was ecstatic! It had been on my to do list for a while. I thought to myself, now all I need to do is work on my cloudy headlights. When I walked to the front of my car to asses what I would need to do I noticed that had cleaned them up! I swear I cried. I have never felt so taken care of and the timing could not have been better as I am going through some things and I don't have time for myself much less for my car. When I was in the shop I overheard conversations with other customers and was able to surmise they were repeat customers. I now understand why. Fix Auto Montclair is top notch. I took my car here after I was involved in a 4-car accident. They were extremely efficient and attentive. They made sure that everything that needed to be fixed was fixed correctly. They worked expediently with my insurance company and had my car ready when promised. When I picked up my car they showed me everything to make sure I was happy. They even washed my car; floor mats included! Wow! They also sent letters and called me to make sure that I was still happy with the service and if there was anything I wasn't happy about that they would take care of it for me. I have never had an auto body repair shop take care of me like that. They obviously treat their clients topnotch. I will go back to them the next time I need any body work done on my car. read more

I will never go back nor recommend these heartless no-compassion having greed mongers!!! Their only concern is with the insurance company and if you have less then top notch insurance they will treat you as such. Even with over 4000 in hand they refused to at least start repairs on my vehicle .... its been OVER A MONTH!! and im being told that there were brackets left off my supplement so that may hold the release ....
