Took my Tahoe into to discuss a possible warranty repair for paint that was chipping off on the front bumper cover. The bumper had some scrapes and rock chips but the chipping in those areas was due to poor paint adhesion clearly. The chipping went well beyond the slightly damaged areas. I explained I was not looking for them to take care of replacement but was looking for solutions since I had a lifetime warranty on the work performed 6 years ago. I had been using this shop for many years under Mark Denny's ownership and took it there due to that. They had always done good work. Because they are now new owners and there was obvious impact areas they declined any responsibility or suggestions of solutions. Not any offers to do any repair at any cost. The initial visit was somewhat contentious because I only had the warranty paperwork. They said they needed the original work order but I didn't have it because all was paid by the insurance company of the person that caused the damage. I did have the original warranty with all the work order and claim numbers. There was no attempt to help and I felt the customer service was very poor. I even asked if I brought a new part to them would they paint it. They denied and deferred to the warranty exclusions and reminded me they did not do the work. Too bad I was treated this way. It was a great business under the previous ownership. By the way, the original work order was for over $18,000. A couple hundred dollar paint job on a new part would have made me happy. read more

Nov 2018 new review. Fix Auto has done it again!!!! This is my third go round with them. They are so awesome that I have to add an additional review. My newest job was a dent in my hood courteousy of a careless Home Depot shopper. Fix Auto took the insurance job that my insurance only covered my rental for three days. However, I had the rental a week and a half. Why do you ask? Because fix Auto Puyallup guarantees their work and they do not rush a job. So guess who paid the rental fees for those additional days?? Fix Auto did. How freaking awesome is that???? I LOVE THIS SHOP. Their quality is unmatched and they are all very professional. Friendly. No better place to have repair auto body work done. And they do extra every time. One year ago. have a customized BMW that needed a new front bumper. I also needed my hood, front fenders and trunk repainted. These guys ordered my custom bumper from Germany and did the work they promised in just over a week once the part came in. They even added extra cosmetic grill pieces in the vents of the bumper to give it a more dynamic appearance. They did not ask me about that part but I am elated at their attention to detail. I highly recommend them. This is my second time using them. No one is better. read more

Rude and unqualified receptionist/appraiser. Took car in a week early for second review so all parts could be ordered prior to drop off. Appraisal was for $2460.63 with a 2-week ETA. Final cost $7069.50 and over 5 weeks later. The buck stops nowhere at FIX Auto. It's the now departed appraisers' fault, it's the parts supplier fault, it's "industry standard" for it to take weeks longer than promised, etcetera, etcetera. Ground in black stains on drivers seat, arm rest, and door panel. Engine compartment covered in black dust. Hood and headlight alignment off. Drips in paint. Worse body shop experience ever. Returned car to correct issues. No call on scheduled return date. Called them the following day to find out car was ready. Appears all issues corrected. Nearly 7 weeks without my car. Glad I had a backup car and not a rental. read more

The sweet people at Fix Auto even did a mini detail before I picked my car up. Oh yeah... plus... they arranged for a rental car agency to have a car ready for me (my insurance covered the cost of the rental) when I dropped my car off to be painted. After my truck was hit in the parking lot at my restaurant I called Sunset Chevrolet...that's who we purchase our cars from, and asked a friend there where the BEST place to take my truck. Without hesitation Ed suggested Fix in Puyallup. After I got off of work I went directly over to get it sorted. The parking lot was organized and clean. When I walked into the office I expected to see the run of the mill auto body shop where I feel like I'm irritating someone by just wanting to PAY to get my things fixed. Segway. The office was nice and organized and clients were sitting there happy to talk to each other, very typical for the area. The staff was pleasant and I was greeted when I walked in the door. I was given a quote by a very competent young women. Let's say this is off to a great start!! I left my car there for a week and when the call came in I went straight over to get it, rental cars are horrible! My family never fits in what is available and I end up having to take two trips anywhere. Upon the return of the car I casually mentioned that to the owner, who was in, she was a little upset. Patty had no idea that they had given me...a mid-size car in return for Expedition, 6 kids and food shopping for a busy restaurant! I was told that next time she would help me talk to my insurance company to insure that I get what I need to be functional in my life. So the nitty gritty! This was 100% covered as I was hit so I didn't really care the cost I just wanted my FIRST new car to look like it did a week earlier. I could not tell that anything had even happened, perfect. Not to mention a nice clean car inside! That was done about the same time that I had another body shop do work on my husbands truck...it looked perfect when it was done but now I can see it rippling and looks dented again.....I need to take it over to Fix one day after work next week and have them fix what the other company messed up. My truck still looks perfect! I have already referred at least a dozen people over to Fix and I will continue. A good, honest company with hard working and friendly employees that feel like they enjoy their job! Yes please!!! I'm also a business owner and you know the owners are doing something right if the employees are cheerful at their work. Last piece of info on this company that I found interesting when I did a little research as most of us like to do. Talk about a company invested in a positive and safe community! I will never do business with this shop again. The staff seems friendly and professional, but the headache of the work never being completed satisfactorily, outweighs their friendly demeanor. I dropped my vehicle off on a Friday. The following Monday, I received a call advising me that my car would be ready by Friday. The following Friday, I contacted the shop (as I had not been contacted at any point between drop off and the day I was supposed to be picking up my car). At that time, I was informed that my vehicle was not yet ready, as initially promised. I agreed that the shop could keep my vehicle until the following Monday in order to finish repairs. The following Monday, I again contacted the shop (and again not receiving any update) and verified that my vehicle would, in fact, be ready. We agreed that I would be able to pick up my car at 5:00 pm that day. I arrived at the shop prior to the agreed upon time, and waited until 5:30 pm for my car to be ready. After I left the shop, and getting stuck in traffic, I made it home, only to find that the headlight they had installed in my car, was cracked. My vehicle was then returned to the shop so they could fix the issue they had created. Now, inspecting my vehicle further, the bumper was not fixed according to factory fit and finish; it is not flush and part of the fender appears warped or bent. There have been countless issues with this autobody shop, and I would not recommend their services to anyone who is needing their vehicle fixed after an accident. read more
