After an uncomfortable few minutes, he agreed to do it. The compressor requires 1-3psi of freon. The technicians initial measurement was at 0psi. When he said it was done it was at 0.2psi. Barely adding any freon to the system. As a result the fridge is still not as cold as it needs to be. The next morning after the service, I informed Mark of the situation and he would look into it and get back to me. Mark ended up refunding the service call, which was appreciated.

This summer we noticed that every time the A/C came on, people sneezed. Finally we figured out that…read morethere was dust in the ducts (duh!), and looked around for a highly-rated duct cleaning service. When I contacted them for an appointment, I discovered that it is the same company as Chim Chiminey Sweep, who cleaned our chimney last year and did a great job. So we figured we couldn't go wrong by hiring them to clean our ducts and vents. They came today and did the cleaning. They arrived exactly when they said they would. They were utterly professional. I can't easily look inside the ducts to see how clean they are, but I watched them work and I'm sure it all got very clean. They brought a big red machine labeled "Rotobrush"; it looked like a combination vacuum cleaner and spinning brush. The brush loosened the dirt and the machine sucked it all in, so that none of it came out into the air or the room. They worked efficiently and finished when they predicted that they would. They reported that one of our 16 ducts was damaged and suggested that we call a heating/cooling company to have it repaired. The final invoice was for exactly the estimated amount. I couldn't be happier. I asked them how often we should do this cleaning, and they said "about every 5 years". We have lived in this house for 3 years, but I suspect that the ducts hadn't been cleaned for 20 years. No more sneezing here.

I originally thought the belt had broken, but he quickly and accurately identified the real problem--it was the rollers. He provided a fair and transparent repair quote on the spot. What really impressed me was his thoroughness. He took the time to inspect other key components, including the heat sensors, and confirmed they were still in good condition. Before wrapping up, Eugene vacuumed out the built-up lint and dust and even pointed out that some of it had been scorched--something I hadn't noticed. Our brand new oven didn't work on NYE and I started to reach out to repair shops thinking it would be a long wait until after the holidays. Eugene quickly responded and was out to see the appliance the next morning. He was clean and respectful from the get go. He quickly diagnosed the issue, gave us a report of what was wrong, what needed replaced and a rough quote for the parts and labor. But most importantly he shared how we could reach out to our warranty to get repairs for free because our stove was new. Shortly after we made the request for service, Eugene contacted us to arrange a service call on our refrigerator. He arrived on time and put booties on before entering our home. Parts were required to complete the repair and Eugene informed us that the parts were to be delivered at his facility by 1P and that he would come to our home the very same day the parts arrived. Sure enough he called when the parts arrived and came to our home to complete the repair. The refrigerator is working like new and we are very satisfied. Throughout the process, Eugene was professional, punctual and very neat. He is now our go to guy should we need any service repairs for any of our appliances in the future. Our refrigerator started having a knocking noise. We didn't know what it was so turned it off and contacted Angi's list. Fix Kot contacted us immediately and came out to take a look. As it turns out, we just needed to defrost the refrigerator so that the fan would become unfrozen. Fix Kot only charged us his fee to come out and even came back the next day to make sure everything was working properly. Very nice guy and so helpful. He gave me a very good quote and got the job done same day within couple hours of my quote. He also fixes my oven for free when he noticed the handle was taped.
