I think we may have had a flukey experience since this company came recommended by a friend and they had a great experience. Igor was great (he is the senior technician that finally came out after many complaints and frustration). Maybe request him from the get-go to have a better overall experience. I wish I could give 0 stars. Avoid this company at all costs. This was one of the most frustrating experiences I have had trying to get my washing machine fixed. Our washer wasn't draining so we called Steve's appliance repair and they sent out a technician next day. He said needed to order a part and would come back when it arrived. 2 days later he came out and "fixed" the machine, but the first time we used it, it was still having the exact same issue. I called them 4 times over the course of the next 2 days to see when they could come out again and each time they said they would call me back... never did. I finally karen'ed them on the phone and they agreed to send someone next day. Well guess what, it's next day and they just called to say the technician is sick and they are not sure when he will be able to come out. They are offering no solution, and when I requested that they just close my file so I can use another service, they said no. We have now had a broken washer for a week and after many phone calls and texts, I am beyond frustrated and will never use this company again.

    Very similar negative experience as others. Referred to Tom by another appliance repairman I used…read moreto use and did a wonderful job for us but moved out of town. I hired Tom without checking reviews (shame on me). He came over to sort out why the ice maker wasn't working on our fridge. Eventually, he kind of guessed at why it might not be working and said we needed to replace a $300 part. We gave him our CC info to order the part, then a couple days later the ice maker started working again. We called back to see about a refund on the part. His wife, Sharon, answers the phone and said sure but there was an issue with Square and refunds so it might take a while. Ok, a week or so goes by, no refund. Call back and now its a health issue. Let another week or so go by, call back and now its another issue. This goes on for about 60 days and I call again -- ok, refund will be issued in 24-48 hours. 5 days goes by and nothing. I decide to go to their office to speak with them in person. Turns out the office is just a post office box location (no problem, whatever), so I call Sharon. She immediately asks if I got the refund yet...no I didn't. I told her I'd like to come by and get a check, cash or meet them at their bank for a refund. She tells me she's got someone who just came into her office and will have to call me back in 15 minutes. I said, oh, where is your office, because I'm outside the location address on all of your info and its a PO Box? She said she'll call me back in 15 minutes and has to go. No call back, but within 20 minutes the refund posted to my credit card minus an $85 service call fee and $25 restocking fee. I'd have been happy to pay all that (and agreed to the service call fee early on) if they would have refunded me immediately. Our experience = shady, liars, incompetent. Hire them at your own risk.

    A+ Appliance Repair of Oceanside, NOT to be confused with a company with the same name from…read moreRiverside, was outstanding. We received great customer service from beginning to end. At the office, a lovely lady gave us the earliest possible appointment, very efficient, respectful and congenial. She sent us their best expert a delightful gentleman by the name of Tom who immediately got to work and replaced a broken pump. Tom was generous with his time in that he also educated us as to the best dishwasher cleaning products to use for our particular machine. We will definitely be using A+ Appliance Repair of Oceanside for all of our future appliance repair needs. We will most definitely let our home warranty company know how very pleased we were with A+ of Oceanside who unfortunately has been confused with the company in Riverside and has erroneously received some of their negative comments. They are a fabulous company, you won't be disappointed we give them an A + + for sure.

    Horrible horrible service! Do not buy from this guy…read more First off, he showed up 7 hours late for the delivery. Second, he sold me a broken washer! The very next day I told him that I was having problems with it. He offered to come back and take a look at it. He did come back (again not when he promised), and once again told me it was fine and if it acted up again he would replace it. Well, it did, and not only did he never come back to replace it, but he has left all three of my texts on read without even responding for a month. So much for a 90 day warranty. Do not buy from him!! Buy anywhere else, you're better off taking a risk on a used one because this 90 day warranty is completely fictitious. He does not honor it. Judging by the other reviews and comments this is not a rare occurence, seems like he sold a couple other broken washers to people and refused to honor his "90 day warranty" as well.

Iziquel who sold me the range said he would replace the part that caused the clicking. He came back with the wrong part. After waiting for the part for weeks and daily calls Iziquel has chosen to completely ignore me. I have a 3 months full money back warranty with GTO and finally told them to pick up the range and refund my money. I have been chasing after Iziquel and have been promised 6 times that he would show up. All lies. Very slippery place and dishonest people. Stay away from this place. If you should discover something is wrong with your appliance after purchase you will never get your money back. If I could give this place a 0 or -10 I would. A place like this has no place being in business. I will make sure I tell everyone I know and will post in as many places as possible including better business bureau. Angry customer
