We love Fixture Pub! We've been there many times. The food is delish from pizza to appetizers and everything else. We've had over half of their apps and pizza and all of them are worth eating. Wr love the thin crispy crust. We love their beer selections. They always have a wide variety on draft as well as many others. Besides the excellent food, the service is always spot on. The rustic decor is beautiful for an older building. A super win is Mikes Hot Honey. It is a seriously good side topping for pizza. Wow!!! This is my actual first time to stop in. Lived In the Third Ward for over 5 years. Jogging last week and noted that I need to stop by this Walkers point pizza joint. Today was the day, Thursday evening with kid and wife. Just a couple blocks from home base. Best pizza place and experience in the area. Great building with classic cream city bricks. The staff are all go getters and seem happy to be working in the place (as opposed to doing time). They were friendly and engaging with my 7 year old daughter. They've got a bocce ball area and play cool music throughout the U shaped eating area. There is a full bar and bar seating. Lots of TVs. Now to the food, the wings are great. They are grilled and appropriately sauced. Real blue cheese. He Caesar salad is fresh and tasty. The croutons are clearly homemade from the garlic bread that came with the spaghetti and meatballs (really good). We ordered thin crust pizza with pepperoni (quality pepperoni) along with extra sauce and cream cheese. Really nice touch. This is now my go to place for casual dining with my kid for eat and drinks. read more

OMG!!! Yes. The host and server were very nice. Sat in a high top next to the bocce. Had the do the deep dish and mozzarella sticks. I will be dreaming about those mozzarella sticks. They are wrapped in an egg roll shell and are very good... i could have eaten all of them. The deep dish was great. Italian beef and sausage. The crust was cooked perfectly. Good food with a fun atmosphere with very friendly service! When walking into Fixture you notice this massive mural on the wall and their extremely tall ceilings. It has a dark but comfortable feel to the place, and seems pretty hip. We enjoyed the playlist they had on too. We ordered the chopped salad and eggplant fries as starters. The chopped salad had a lot of great toppings on it (like pasta, chickpeas, bacon, tomato, and more). The eggplant fries were tasty but the eggplant didn't really shine through, they just tasted like fried things. Either way, we still licked the plate clean. The pizza was great, but the list of specialty pizzas was smaller than I would hope for. We had the Var Gallery which was good, and the WP Tattoo which was good and very meaty. The crust is crispy thin, but I thought it was a little drier and crumblier than I would like. I'm definitely nitpicking though, and I thoroughly enjoyed the pizza. They also put a spicy honey on the table which is delicious and adds to the pizza! I kind of wish it was put on by the cooks though, rather than having to pass a sticky bottle around the table. So I've recently joined the current 'walking 10,000 steps a day' fad. And I was in Milwaukee. And I wanted pizza. And I wanted to try a new place. So considering all those things, I decided to walk to Fixtures on a very muggy Friday night. By the time I'd walked two miles, it was a very pleasant sight upon arrival. Hipster? Sure. But not overpoweringly so. The interior is heavy on black, dark gray with touches of beige and red, and they've invested heavily in graphics. Signs, signs, everywhere the signs. I don't have a problem with that, as a former designer. It's well done. Informative. The hoped-for blast of air conditioning did not hit me when I walked in, so I continued to sweat until my body cooled down on its own. Not a big deal. I was greeted by a jovial bearded guy and was escorted to my requested table by the window, with an admonishment that I'd need to be sure I was aware of the inherent responsibility to be a draw to passers by while seated there. My waitress was also a sweetheart, the service was everything you'd want it to be. Their tap list is top-notch. Something for everyone. I chose a Mobcraft sour ale, and it was delicious. My thin crust pizza was very good! I'm usually an 'extra sauce' person, but I didn't order it that way; I wanted to see how they're usually doing it. It had plenty of sauce upon arrival, almost bordering on too much, which made the center of the pizza just a bit soggy, but I still enjoyed every bite. The sauce seemed very fresh with great crushed tomato flavor, and a slowly building heat and savory spiciness. The toppings were plentiful and arranged with near-mathematical precision (I appreciate a fellow OCD-leaning chef). A bottle of hot honey, a special thing they do, was on the table with the standard condiments and I tried it. Intriguing and good! My pizza already had jalapeños though so it was overkill. If not for that, I'd have drizzled it on the whole thing. Long story short...whoops, too late for that. But yes. Go here. It's good. I'm a fan. You can even play bocce ball, apparently. My favorite deep dish in Milwaukee! We always get the Great Lakes Distillery pizza, which has cream cheese, Extra red sauce, and pepperoni. Even as a vegetarian I love it by picking off the pepperoni. Make sure to get it in deep dish form! We also tried the eggplant fries which were good, but too much breading. They give you Mike's hot honey, which compliments the pizza very nicely. Be careful though, it is VERY hot! We've both dined in and taken, and the quality is the same every time. Good price for what you get! A medium pizza will feed 3 people. read more

This pub is phenomenal. I've had two of their pies, the Tin Widow and WP Tattoo, and both were amazing. They pack the pizzas with ingredients and the thin crust is perfect! Also, their wings are probably some of the best I've ever had. They're lightly crispy on the outside and juicy in the middle. Freakin amazing. Honey ginger wings are the best. Also their draft beer selection is ridiculously on point. Staff is super friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone! read more

Until now, I've always ordered the Great Lakes Distillery. Tonight, at the recommendation of the bartender, I tried the Var Gallery. Instead of red sauce, it has olive oil plus garlic, spinach, artichokes and cream cheese. I also added sausage. Oh my god, it was phenomenal! Honestly, it's the best pizza I've ever had! And that is a bold statement. My boyfriend absolutely loved it too. We were raving about it non-stop. You must try this pizza! Also, Fixture has great drinks, great vibes and great service. I always get the Great Lakes Distillery pizza as a deep dish.. This is truly the best deep dish pizza in Milwaukee! I've tried a few other types which were good as well, but always come back to this one. I just had it to go, which was as good as it is dining in. I have tried the regular thin crust, which is good, but nothing compares to the deep dish! They have a decent beer and wine selection as well. A medium deep dish pizza will feed two people with left overs. read more

Love this place!! Look no further...this pizza is amazing and the gluten free crust is absolutely fabulous!! We love the specialty pizzas (thin crust) and the Mikes Hot Homey that you put on pizza! Had never tried that before. Also, the salads are really fresh and great! Also my wing eating so s loves the wings, all three flavors are great...we ask for them extra crispy and with lots of sauce on side. The food at Fixture is nearly 5 stars every time so this has to do moreso with the customer service. We live in California now and were visiting Milwaukee for a wedding and Fixture was high on our list of places to eat. The main thing we were excited for was their awesome chicken wings. We had a group of 8-9 people with many out of towners equally excited for the wings. I called Fixture earlier in the day to try to get a reservation. When I called they informed me they no longer take reservations, but that it was a slow Sunday and they had their wings. We arrived there about 6:45 pm a few Sundays ago and we were told we had a 45 minute wait which was a little upsetting but its fine. We patiently waited seeing delicious foods pass us by growing our anticipation for the delicious garlic parmesan wings to hit our mouths. We finally sat down and got drink orders in and some of their fire eggplant parmesan fries. After we had our drinks in hand our table was told they were out of wings. Many of us were disappointed and debating going to Points or Club G to get wings, but we decided to stay. The food wasn't the same to me after the disappointment of no wings. I talked to a few people in the restaurant, and they explained that with the increased wing prices they have been consistently selling out every week and the ownership didn't want to spend the money for more. I find this disappointing and I would be willing to pay more as their wings are awesome. The lack of transparency on the phone was also frustrating as if we were forewarned that they were selling out of wings every Sunday we would have went earlier or for lunch. I got home late from work and decided to give Fixture Pizza a try as it was the only spot open in my neighborhood. I'm gluten-free and I looked up their menu beforehand to see if they could accommodate me. The place has a really cool vibe and the weight staff were all super nice. Sean took care of me and went above and beyond to give me the best service. Not only that, the gluten-free pizza was one of the best in the city. I will definitely return. As of now, Fixture is my favorite pizza pub in Milwaukee. I've tried most of their specialty pizzas (thin crust) and all have tasted great. The deep-dish option is delicious too but be prepared to be stuffed afterwards. The calamari and meatball appetizers are good, along with the Fixture salad for some greens. Their chicken wings might be the most underrated in MKE and not to mention 50 cents on Sundays. Limited sauces but Buffalo and Garlic Parmesan are my fav. Tap beer and standard drink choices are solid. The overall vibe of the restaurant is chill and all of the staff are very nice and accommodating. There is little reason to visit Fixture aside from their specials on Sundays and during happy hour. On Sunday, their wings (which are incredible) are 50¢ without limit. Definitely recommend going for the buffalo wings when this price. Otherwise, they are about $1 a wing, which feels steep when you can get them for a reasonable price. Additionally, they have $4 bloody marys and $3 mimosas. The bloody is okay, lacking on flavor, and only compensating with garnishes. The others in my party seemed to enjoy their mimosas. Happy hour has decent beer and wine deals as well as $1 mozzarella sticks that are definitely worth it. The one deal that has been dissapointing is the Thursday all you can eat spaghetti and meatballs. The overcooked pasta is drowned in sauce. The sauce is a touch spicy, which is really nice, but across all five people I was with, all of us had sauce overload to the point of being unpleasant. Both visits, service was mediocre at best. I'll stick to Sunday wings in the future. read more

I've been to Fixture twice now, with quite varied experiences. The first time, we stopped for a late-night bite after having drinks at the Tin Widow nearby. There were only a few other people there at the time and it seemed to be a pretty typical wait time for the food, which I thought was quite tasty (really liked the artichoke dip!) The second time we went was on a Friday night around 7:00. Our wait for a table was about 30 minutes. But our wait time for food was over an hour. It took quite some time just to get cheesy bread. And when our pizzas finally arrived, it was really nothing to write home about. I had much higher hopes for the pizza with artichokes and cream cheese, as I love the one that Pizza Man has. However, the spicy honey that they have at each table is a fun way to spice up a slice that we all really enjoyed. Another thing of note, as you can probably tell from pictures, they put the sauce on top of the cheese, which I haven't seen elsewhere in town and is pretty interesting. Overall, its not a place that I would expect to spend near 2.5 hours just to get pizza. I probably won't go out of my way to go back, but its a nice option for a bite if you're out in the area and have a hankering for pizza. read more

I come here with a friend a lot. The pizza bread is amazing and can soothe the most terrible of days, most pizzas are pretty good, the meatballs are a little lackluster, though. I'm trying to cut back on dairy and the staff has been great when I ask for cheeseless pizzas or dishes with light cheese. The servers are fun and have helped my friend and I with good recommendations depending on what we're feeling for the day. One of my favorite touches is that they name pizzas after local businesses. I really love that. Of note, though- one of the hosts (?) who does the seating has made me feel a little uncomfortable at times, particularly when I asked for a booth over the high top they were walking us to, since I have an injury and the high top agitated it the last time I was there. It took a little bit of a back and forth for me to explain that it wasn't me being picky for no reason, but I really would be more comfortable in a booth pain wise. Once I had to explain that I had nerve damage and that was what drove my request, he agreed to accommodate us, but it came after us being told they saved the booths for large parties, despite the fact I've been sat in booths with just one other person before, and the fact it wasn't busy... I get that sitting a party of two in a booth that can fit 6 isn't always in the interest of the restaurant, but some people can't really do certain seating arrangements... I wound up feeling guilty for asking until I told my partner about it, to which he said it was weird that they were putting hypothetical customers who weren't even there first before us. I still want to come back, but I hope that if I request a booth and am willing to wait for it, that it won't be such an awkward exchange. That's making me a tad apprehensive to come back Pardon my long story, hah. But maybe other customers feel the same way? Booths are the best. read more

Everything at Fixture is high quality ... the service, ingredients, drink selection, & specials. Pizzas are available in thin crust or deep dish, and both are excellent. Appetizers include mozzarella sticks, meatballs, garlic bread, and more. Salads are very reasonably priced, and the chicken wings are my favorite in Milwaukee area (buffalo, garlic parmesan, or asian zing). The tap beer list is impressive and rotates regularly. It's located in a cool space on S 2nd Street, and the staff is incredible. Plus, there are happy hour and daily specials. Fixture is one of the best additions to Milwaukee area! I'd say I'm a pretty big pizza connoisseur and I have struggled to find a pizza place in MKE that I can say I truly love. But I think I may have found the one! The service was fast and our waiter was super sweet and helpful with giving us her options on foods she really liked. I got the D.I.X thin crust pizza and it was delicious. We were comfortably able to split it between 3 people (two of them being super hungry boys)! While we waited for our pizza to come, we got to play a few intense rounds of Bocce Ball and before we knew it our food was ready! Love it overall and I can't wait to go back! Wow wow wow. Amazing pizza!! Jake was more than amazing. An uninvited guest (a young adult) sat at the extra spot at our table while she waited for her take out pizza. The father wasn't asking his child to move and we were going to let it go until our pizza came. Jake came around and asked the child to move, apologized multiple times, and gave us free hot honey! I'm a pizza guy and when I hear nothing but good things about a place, especially from reputable sources, I've GOTTA check it out. Fixture, located right by MKE brewing, has a really nice, diverse tap list that has a local focus but maintains stylistic variety quite well. The bartender was attentive even with a fairly full bar and provided a few samples of beer while I was trying to decide between two. I dined alone so, unfortunately, I was unable to try a few different pizzas and opted for their staple, the Great Lakes pizza, extra red sauce, pepperoni, and gobs of cream cheese. Looks can be deceiving. Ordered the Tin Window, thin crust. The thin crust is not much of a crust at all. Very soft and soggy button crust which made this pizza very undesirable to eat. Toppings were plentiful but when they all fall off because of the soft and soggy crust it doesn't make for a very good pizza. read more
