Much Love and respect to the uso and his business. Was down south with the family so we decided to stop in and try it out, and for sure the food was fire. Food was so big we ate and still had enough to bring bac all the way to Sacramento. Much alofa to Fiyanesian. Keep on given em that fire.

fiyahnesian food for the soul These guys know what they're doing! Nana's bomb chicken was garlic-infused, crispy, and had so much flavor. The fried rice was moist and tasty. The "Big Uce Burrito" was killer. Fully loaded with everything on the menu and really gives you the bang for your buck! Check them out!

I wanted to come here for a while since I was Instagram connected with these guys already. They had been flaunting their attractive food assets to myself and social media for a while. I went on a Monday night and they were at the Gaffey St. Diner in San Pedro (apparently there may be different hosting venues). As I would expect from my Polynesian brothers, portions should be big.... and my expectations were definitely fulfilled. The Big Uce Burrito was tasty. Their "Char siu Chicken" is a special star, and their longanisa fried rice is really tasty too. The Char Siu Chicken Quesadilla and Bowl were all great and filling. Definitely coming back in the not too distants. Check it out if you're around the area!

Mann I've been coming here for a while now. All the food is so flavorful and big servings to get your tummy nice and satisfied. I've tried a little bit of everything and everything is delicious but my go to is always the Big Uce!Big Uce Burrito

Teriyaki chicken and the limited special of char siu katsu chicken. That katsu times 100 with the char siu flavor- can't beat it.

This is a truck. Find it. The food is awesome. The fusion of the food is crazy good. The rice has a meat that takes it beyond good, beyond regular fried rice. The Big Uce burrito is fire, the char-siu katsu chicken is an explosion of flavor

Great Teri Chicken choices , monster Big Uce Burrito , Charsu Chicken , longinisa rice , quesadillas choice of meat .. and the great Fiyahnesian Sauce

Met the big man chef BJ Yandall today to get the Uce burrito for family and friends back in Los Angeles. Worth the hour drive.

The best dam burrito I've had! Chef BJ Yandall is awesome and his Uce burrito is a memorable one that will have you craving more after you finish digesting this monster.

Just picked up my order! Big Uce Burrito is my favorite! Poke was bomb too. I almost ate my wife's food.

I stopped by on a Friday afternoon and waited about 20 minutes for a table. The wait was well worth it because each dish offered an explosion of flavors. My favorite dish was the birria, with the salmon ceviche as a close second. The mole was great too, but I'd say the other two dishes were more memorable and something I'd return for. I can't recommend the birria enough, as the flavors were reminiscent of what I've had in Mexico, very authentic. The space is small and can feel a bit tight, but sometimes the best food comes from these types of "hole in the wall" places. Ultimately, I'd say give Lola's a try! You can't go wrong with Mexican food!

Not impressed by anything we ordered, given the competition locally…read more I will drive to Acton, CA (124 miles round trip) for their chicken tortilla soup ... bringing back 3 quarts of it after our meal is done. The soup here lacks the tastebud awakening zip that Don Chato's has. The ono fish taco experience was my fault... I hate fried fish taco, so I had lofty expectations, but due to the fact that I do not prefer corn tortillas, guacamole or raw onions, led to much disappointment since It has all three. Totally my fault. The butternut enchilada was lacking in the expected savoriness... this is being polite. The potato taquito was okay... but I am not a taquito person, so if you are I would seriously encourage you to try it. The star of the table was the Mexican corn. It may not compete with Cornman in Lincoln Heights, but it was decent. I scraped off the onions and toppings on the ono tacos, put the fish on the flour tortillas that another person didn't want, and topped the fish with refried beans, street corn and a but if the chicken tortilla soup broth to make due. When you are driving more than 30 minutes for this experience, I think you would agree that it was less that a proper way to celebrate a birthday. Oh and if there isn't any street parking. It'll cost you about 9 bucks in the lot. I didn't use the restroom, so I cant review its cleanliness. Our waitress was flawless taking orders and delivering food The restaurant itself has a great layout and an outdoor courtyard complete with propane heaters and umbrellas - I loved that... but my favorite part was out front, no not the seating area in the former parking spaces, nope... it was the collapsed woman on the sidewalk, walking her dog with snot running out of her nose because she was huffing some aerosol can of whatever. This truly set the mood upon arrival. Two stars for being close to a lot of other food choices to visit afterward.

We had reservations and were seated promptly, and when an unexpected guest joined our party, the staff quickly and graciously accommodated us. The patio atmosphere was fantastic, with a beautiful blend of Mexican culture and Southern California flair. Live musicians moved from table to table taking requests and serenading guests. They were charming, talented, and added something genuinely special to the evening. Our waiter, Renee, was outstanding. He was patient while we waited for our final guest, attentive without rushing us, courteous, and full of great recommendations. He worked hard, always had a smile, and clearly takes pride in what he does. Exceptional service deserves recognition, and Renee absolutely earned it. I highly recommend the carnitas plate. The meat was tender and juicy, never greasy, with the perfect amount of crispness and bark. My personal test for Mexican cuisine is simple: get the beans and rice right first. Frida nailed both, and everything else followed suit. In Southern California, great Mexican food is everywhere, but Frida offers something beyond just a good meal. Quality ingredients, thoughtful preparation, excellent hospitality, live music, beautiful decor, and genuine cultural character all come together to create a complete dining experience. It is a little pricier than a casual Mexican meal, but worth every penny. From the welcoming hosts and talented musicians to Renee's exceptional service, everyone contributed to a terrific evening for our family and guests. Great food, great people, great atmosphere. This is what good looks like. Highly recommended. We will absolutely be back.

You can load up your tacos with as much onion and cilantro as you want, plus they have radishes and lime wedges available. They also offer two salsas, a red and a green. Both tasted good and had solid flavor, although I was hoping for a little more heat. Overall, it's a solid taco spot, especially on Taco Tuesday.
