Much Love and respect to the uso and his business. Was down south with the family so we decided to stop in and try it out, and for sure the food was fire. Food was so big we ate and still had enough to bring bac all the way to Sacramento. Much alofa to Fiyanesian. Keep on given em that fire.

fiyahnesian food for the soul These guys know what they're doing! Nana's bomb chicken was garlic-infused, crispy, and had so much flavor. The fried rice was moist and tasty. The "Big Uce Burrito" was killer. Fully loaded with everything on the menu and really gives you the bang for your buck! Check them out!

I wanted to come here for a while since I was Instagram connected with these guys already. They had been flaunting their attractive food assets to myself and social media for a while. I went on a Monday night and they were at the Gaffey St. Diner in San Pedro (apparently there may be different hosting venues). As I would expect from my Polynesian brothers, portions should be big.... and my expectations were definitely fulfilled. The Big Uce Burrito was tasty. Their "Char siu Chicken" is a special star, and their longanisa fried rice is really tasty too. The Char Siu Chicken Quesadilla and Bowl were all great and filling. Definitely coming back in the not too distants. Check it out if you're around the area!

Mann I've been coming here for a while now. All the food is so flavorful and big servings to get your tummy nice and satisfied. I've tried a little bit of everything and everything is delicious but my go to is always the Big Uce!Big Uce Burrito

Teriyaki chicken and the limited special of char siu katsu chicken. That katsu times 100 with the char siu flavor- can't beat it.

This is a truck. Find it. The food is awesome. The fusion of the food is crazy good. The rice has a meat that takes it beyond good, beyond regular fried rice. The Big Uce burrito is fire, the char-siu katsu chicken is an explosion of flavor

Great Teri Chicken choices , monster Big Uce Burrito , Charsu Chicken , longinisa rice , quesadillas choice of meat .. and the great Fiyahnesian Sauce

Met the big man chef BJ Yandall today to get the Uce burrito for family and friends back in Los Angeles. Worth the hour drive.

The best dam burrito I've had! Chef BJ Yandall is awesome and his Uce burrito is a memorable one that will have you craving more after you finish digesting this monster.

Just picked up my order! Big Uce Burrito is my favorite! Poke was bomb too. I almost ate my wife's food.

I got the 6 pc chicken tenders tossed in "Cha Cha" sauce (honey sriracha) with a side of fries. My partner got the Belly something, but his box consisted of lemon pepper and honey BBQ wings with buffalo ranch fries . The food was SO GOOD! I can not wait to try the chicken tenders in several of the sauces. The establishment appears to be more of a place of "order your food and go". The cook knew our order off the top of his head. What we ordered: I ordered the Flyin' Slider Trio with Chili Zing sauce. These were fantastic! The sauce was spicy but not overpowering. The cole slaw was tasty. The chicken was hanging off the sides of the bun. They give a very generous portion. I also got the corn poppers with lemon pepper seasoning. When the menu says corn "popperS," I thought I'd get more than one. The fact that they charged $4.00 for a half ear of corn is ridiculous. I was even madder because it was delicious! It was breaded and deep fried. The breading was great and ensured that the corn wasn't oily. If the serving was two, I would feel like I kind of got my money's worth, but not one. I'd never get that again. My husband got the 10-piece wings with half garlic parm and half lemon pepper. He said the wings were big and fried to perfection. He loved them. He also got fries. They were $4.00 for a pediatric serving size. Overall, the meal was very good. The main items were worth the price, but they really charge too much for the sides considering their size. I'd go back to support them, but please hold the sides...

We asked if they had any plant-based or vegan options. They only sold burgers however the lady that helped us was very sweet, polite, and kind. Very professional and knowledgeable about the menu and non-dairy items. Provided us with what we needed right away, the container for the salsa and brought out fresh ones for me. Very nice guy. The food came out right away. The portions were big in my opinion. The prices were decent, the portion was great, and best of all the service was good. Their self-serve condiments was a PLUS! I've been to a lot of taco spots and these were by far the freshest and crispiest cucumbers, fresh cold salsa, onions and cilantro was also fresh. The food was good and filled us up. It was simple but fulfilling. Will definitely be back and highly recommend it. There are plenty of indoor and outdoor seats as well.

I ordered the asada, carnitas, al pastor, tripas, cabeza, and lengua. The asada was tender with a nice grilled flavor, but my favorites were definitely the tripas and cabeza. Both were a little greasy, but in a good way--they had a lot of flavor and were probably the standouts of the meal for me. One thing I liked was the condiment bar. You can load up your tacos with as much onion and cilantro as you want, plus they have radishes and lime wedges available. They also offer two salsas, a red and a green. Both tasted good and had solid flavor, although I was hoping for a little more heat. Overall, it's a solid taco spot, especially on Taco Tuesday. Good variety of meats, reasonable prices, and plenty of toppings to customize your tacos. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area and craving some tacos.

After waiting over an hour, we still only received about half of our order. About 40 minutes into the wait, I was told they were out of chicken, which meant I never received the chicken and waffles I ordered. I also never received my baked beans. I understand that restaurants can run out of items, but I wish we had been told much sooner instead of waiting that long. What makes this even more disappointing is the amount of money we spent, and as you can see from our receipt, we tipped very well. We came in wanting to support the business and have a good experience. Unfortunately, between the long wait, missing food, and the quality of what we did receive, I honestly don't feel the experience was worth the money. We were also visiting from out of town and specifically chose this place, so it was disappointing to spend such a large part of our visit waiting for food we ultimately didn't receive. I really feel that some type of refund or compensation should have been offered, especially for the items we paid for but never received. I do want to be fair and mention that they gave us complimentary water and banana pudding, which we appreciated. However, it didn't make up for waiting over an hour and not receiving our complete order. Would I come back? Maybe, but only once things are more organized and structured. The nicest thing was that the ladies taking orders also circulated around the restaurant to check in with people constantly and make sure they were cool as they waited for their orders. Now, the food: Those smothered ribs are fire! OMG, all the sides, delicious, crazy good Gouda mac & cheese, yummy mashed potatoes, and totally off the hook greens with cabbage and smoked turkey. I could eat this like every day! They do have oxtail, lots of fried chicken and fish, and a ton of other stuff, I'm just waiting to work my way down the menu. Portions were generous, you definitely could feed two people on one entrée... But I'm selfish and I want it all! Desserts also amazing... My review is based on the food truck. It was my son's birthday. He was allowed to chose anything he wanted for dinner. Any price point... anything. Well i had seen this on Instagram and shared it with him two weeks prior. At first he wanted to go to Nobu or there were a few other high end options, but that is not his style honestly. Luckily, he remembered the post that I shared. He wanted to go here. Well, buckle up kids, we are going on a field trip! We left work/schools early and took a drive to Compton. When our navigation said we had arrived it suggested we park in the lot across from the library. Ok. There directly in front of the library was the food truck. There was a small line, so that was ideal. Not a long wait. My other smaller human and i went to wash their hands in the library. When i came out he had ordered the hungry man or something. It was more than enough for us. The oxtail was good. The ribs were good. The chicken was good. The cornbread was yummy. Just not over the moon for the greens... and i loooove collard greens. But that's ok. We went for the meats. They were out of the dinosaur ribs, so maybe if we go early enough next time, we can try those. We took it across the street to the park and ate and that was enough time for the small one to also play to get energy out before we headed home. The drive home was long, now that rush hour traffic had started. But none of us complained, because the meal was worth it.

Communication was excellent, and a few days before the party he reached out directly to coordinate with the venue. That made everything so much easier and gave me one less thing to worry about on the day of the event. Our party was from 9 AM-12 PM, and David arrived before I even got there and was completely set up and ready to go. He brought his own full setup, including tables, plates, a pop-up tent for shade, and a great team to help everything run smoothly. We had around 120 guests, and everyone LOVED the pizza. Our package included two regular pizzas (cheese and pepperoni) and two specialty pizzas, and we chose BBQ chicken and Hawaiian. Everything was fresh and delicious. At one point, David even walked around with a freshly made pepperoni and jalapeño pizza that he made on the spot without us even asking. Our guests loved it! One thing that really stood out to me was how accommodating David was. I mentioned that we had a guest with a dairy allergy, and without hesitation, he made a fresh cheeseless pizza specifically for them. That level of attentiveness really impressed me and meant a lot as the host. He also offers different pricing options for adults and children, along with gluten-free dough, which is really helpful when you're feeding a large group with different dietary needs. Beyond the food, David is just genuinely great to work with. He is responsive, professional, organized, flexible, and clearly takes pride in what he does. He really goes above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly. Our guests were still talking about how good the pizza was after the party! If you're planning a birthday party, family gathering, or any event and want fresh, delicious pizza from someone who is reliable and easy to work with, I highly recommend Passion for The Pie and David.
