After a slight delay setting up, I checked the skewers they were slanging and saw some great selection! Tri tip, pork belly, dark meat, chicken albondiga, bacon and egg and nopal! The pork belly was especially crispy, and tender on the inside. Tri tip was great with any of the sauces! I'm happy to know they will be returning to the Blvd Mrkt Fri, Feb 9th 2024. I got carne asada and chicken tacos totally plain, so I can really judge the taste before covering them up with salsa and the rest. The carne asada is good, don't get me wrong, but it's not great. The chicken, unfortunately, was pretty dry and fairly tasteless. There are some street taco vendors who marinate their chicken breast so perfectly, but this wasn't it. Their al pastor is hella good, sliced off of a trompo. Carne asada are grilled to perfection and not "steamed" from the massive amount of meat on the flat grill. Their burritos and alambre are huge. Love their suadero and lengua (when available). The workers are super nice and will speak english. Their tortillas are made on the premises while the meat and food are being cooked & prepped. Their avocado salsa is spicy but hella good. The onions & cilantro, lime, radish. Spicy green salsa etc are all kept in a refrigerated comdiment table. There are some tables and chairs to hangout and eat. The workers keep the area clean too. Bonus- the truck serves food until 1am nightly. Highly recommend trying them out. .
