This is by far the best bike shop in Flag, I've had all three of my bikes serviced there numerous times. Their one day turn around is phenomenal! I've headed in in a pinch trying to get my bike ready for weekend rides and am always impressed with their friendly attitude, great atmosphere, and quick turnaround times. The staff is very knowledgeable and has helped me make an informed purchase more than once. I can't comment on the coffee as I've never had a cup there but if their barista is as knowledgeable as their bike repair crew I bet it's top notch. I've never had such good service in my life. Caring and informative folks there to give you all of their time for your dumb newby mt biking questions that you may want to ask. I spoke with the staff for hours about which bike I should get and why. They have a ton of demo bikes to rent. I rented several bikes and immediately realized what I liked and didn't like about the geometry, wheel sizes, etc. This is the place to go when you want a new bike or your first one. They have the experience and I trust them with their advice. I want to say they treated me like family, but even my family has never treated me so well! Ha! After two weeks of demoing and a few months before that looking at bike forums and trying friend's bikes, I bought a lovely giant that was exactly what I needed. I would not have known half of what I needed to without their help about different suspensions and riding tips. The other bike shops that I've been to in Sedona and Flag are just average. They will answer some questions but are not exciting about it. This place is different. Go there. Call ahead for rental availability. read more

They have always taken the time to answer my question, check out my bikes, and help with advice, even when they are swamped. And most times there isn't even charge, only a smile. I needed a new single speed freewheel for my commuter as mine was slipping badly. Austin and company were incredible. I rolled in off the street with my bike and hit them up cold with no appointment. Even though they are 2 to 3 days out with bike repairs they pulled off the old freewheel and installed the new one in less than 15 minutes. The most incredible part of this experience was the bill. Only charged me for the new free wheel ( plus tax ). NO LABOR CHARGE! These guys are a class act! They really emphasize customer service and make sure everything is done right and that the customer is happy. Can't say enough good things about these guys. I am a biking enthusiast and visited this place soon after I arrived in Flagstaff and bought a bike from them (a Giant). In the 4 years since, this has remained my favorite bike shop and the one where I bought most of my gear and materials. they have also done some great work repairing and tuning up my bike, sometimes for free. Also, the staff is friendly and we are on first name terms, so whenever I see them around town, we greet each other by name. Austin is one of the best people in this shop, and he is friendly and very helpful. The prices of the gear are not always the best, however it is better than many of the other shops in town. read more

I see that everyone has rated the coffee here but nothing on the bikes or the repairs? I have had the coffee here and it was good but I think that side of things has gone down hill, I have been there twice recently and no pastries? As for the repairs or service, don't be fooled by the 1 day repairs unless maybe you are a regular customer or friend of the person doing repairs! It's not going to happen... And it seems like the mountain bikes are priority in this shop also which is all they seem to sell so I guess I can understand....No not really! read more

Basically the best place to get your bike fixed in Flag. I called ahead about a brake issue I had on my bike and they said it might be anywhere from $30 based on the condition I described. However, when i took it in, they salvaged the brake line and saved me $15! Not only that, it took them less than 10 minutes to fix and I swear my brakes work better than when I bought the bike. read more

Best bike shop in the world. Have a fantastic array of bikes to choose from. Picked up a beautiful mint rove road bike from them. Performs fantastically. Took a fat spill on campus, my shifters were knocked out of place and my chain came off. Walked my bike over to their shop expecting to have to pay for the repairs. Didn't have to pay for a thing. They turned my frown upside down, turning my unfortunate day into a not so bad because of their kindness and hospitality. Great and kind staff. On my way to start the Coco250 bikepacking stage race I discovered the pair of shoes I'd brought for the race were, one right MTB shoe & one right road shoe. The race began a 8am Friday morning. After looking at the shops I knew of in downtown (all not yet opened) A bike commuter directed me to Bike Revolution. 30min later I'm racing toward Lake Mary Rd. back in the race. Outside of my LBS my new Fav Shop. A little hard for out of towners to track down, but well worth the search. read more

Well, this was the last of the actual bike shops I hadn't tried in Flag. On my first visit, I ended up speaking with the supposed manager about replacing a part on the bike. He seemed nice and friendly tho he overtly attempted to get me to go somewhere else for the work after stating the cost and that it wasn't worth it (brakes are required on bikes). I returned some days later to schedule a time to bring my bike in. Interacted with a different guy about it and he let me know they didn't have the part in stock and couldn't order it either. So I agreed to go in search of one. Found a store that had some in stock and a couple of days later returned again to set up a day/time. Spoke to Jason, the manager, again. I'm not sure if he woke up on the wrong side of the bed, it was that time of the month, or he just doesn't like bikes that don't cost an arm and a leg, but geeze, not friendly the 2nd time around and clearly didn't want me bringing my bike in to them. He used every lame excuse in the book not to work on my bike (I had specifically asked him to do the work because of our first conversation), increased the original pricing he'd given + adding other unnecessary costs that hadn't been mentioned on the first visit, removed some tape I had on a metal part so it wouldn't drag on the tire (directly related to the work that needed to be done) which he didn't put back on, and then as a finale, confirmed that I'd be wearing a propagandistic mask when I returned. Even though we were OUTSIDE, more than the propagandistic required distance apart, I'd be outside just to drop off the bike when I returned, AND during my first conversation with him I hadn't been wearing a mask which never bothered him while HE CHOSE to stand closer than that propogandistic required distance from me. One has to wonder what it's like to work for someone who can't just be straight with people. So, no, can't recommend this shop. Suerte to the rest of you. read more

I had been checking out mountain bikes in Flagstaff and was undecided between a REI coop bike and a diamondback online bike. Stopped by the Revolution store and met Austin, the store manager. I am 73 and explained to him what kind of biking I do and he recommended the Giant Fathom. Austin is a very competent and knowledgeable salesperson with a magnetic smile. He knows his stuff and patiently addressed all of my concerns. I decided to buy the bike which he customized just for me and I could not be happier. It is like riding on air compared to my old bike and the dropper seatpost is a godsend for my old body. The bike is great but you will also be blown away by Austin. I am not sure that anyone else could have caused me to part with that much cash even though it was a fair price. read more

I used this shop for a two-day rental when I was visiting Flagstaff. It's in a great location with cool places to eat and drink all around it included a brewery right next door. I rented the Kona Hei Hei which is a really sweet bike. I'm impressed that they even rent such nice bikes. Molly recommended that bike for my needs and skill level. She also gave me great advice on the local riding and some routes to ride. The shop is mostly for mountain biking and it's laid back, friendly, and super cool. It just has an overall great vibe. Next time I'm in town I will definitely use them again. read more
