Hit me with a $20 charge for me, my wife, and my daughter ($60) and refuse to cancel my account going forward if I dont pay the fees plus the next month in advance. I could swallow the next month in advance, maybe even one of the 3 x $20, but they were not reasonable. Now a member of a new gym. There is a difference between straight policy and carrying about members.

The bad - if you're used to a new, shiny club featuring stainless steel open areas and shiny tile FAC is not it. The buildings were built in the 70s and despite some remodeling at the West club both clubs are dated and somewhat dreary. At times it seems they are not even trying to (shower heads in the east club are mismatched, come on), tile is dingy, and both clubs give a worn out vibe. Some of the gym equipment has seen better days, esp at the east. The good - the staff is very friendly, their classes are varied and a lot of fun, both clubs have both a steam room and sauna plus a jacuzzi, and they always seem to have an ample supply of clean towels.
