Why do you take my phone order, but not prepare it? Why accept the order? Your employee said too many people place the order, then not show up and pay. Really? That happens "so" often? They got my order wrong the first time I ever went! Was so mad I even got charged extra for no rice and was given rice. However, the chicken was delicious and I have gone back.I make sure they check it in front of me before I leave. I called ahead so it was ready when I got there which is convenient since I work close by and only have a 30min lunch. read more

Excellent healthy food, especially for the price. Restaurant is new and super clean. Mainly chicken and beef over rice and vegetables type place.. Only downer is whenever I've called in for "Take-out". They never have food ready when I get there ???? You call order in, you go to pick up order and end up waiting like anybody else who just showed up ? When Ive inquired as to why, they state they just want my order fresh. Um, ok thanks. But A) that kind of defeats the CALLING IN FOR PICK UP IDEA. B) I'm not even eating it until hours later, so it doesn't matter either way. I ordered the beef bowl with no veggies with steamed rice. It was very good and you could tell its a lot more healthier for you than other Asian fast food spots. I felt it was a little expensive for the amount you get but luckily I had a coupon. The dining area is extremely small so I wouldn't go there during lunch time again if I can help it. I hate sitting next to someone so close that I don't know. I feel like I cant comfortably enjoy the meal. Its just a me thing though. The place overall is nice and the food tasted great. I was very impressed with this business! The menu is very simple and straight forward, not overloaded with too many choices. The food is healthy, no MSG, no fried food, no trans fat...so it's a healthy option! I had the "Works Bowl" with chicken/steak/fresh veggies/rice and it was very filling and only at 520 calories a great alternative to a burger. I am going to try one of the plates next time but I'm pretty sure I will have plenty of "Works Bowls" in the future. The only problem is we need more of these in Bakersfield!!! read more

I don't know her name but on the receipt it says it's Brittany. She always has this great attitude and it makes everyone feel good. The food here is great and super tasty!! I love the food here, it's very yummy and healthy which I like for me and my family. I come to this location often, this last time I went which was about 3 days ago or so, the cashier Brittney I believe was her name (that's what it said on the receipt) was sort of rude. She didn't say "thank you, your welcome" nothing, and usually the other workers in the front do. I did not give her a reason to be rude and on top of that my table was dirty so I moved to another table and that was one dirty too, she was the only person working in the front and she was just standing there while the tables were a mess, I was going to ask her to clean it but I didn't want to bother her again. Like I said I come here a lot maybe it was a bad day for her but she should not be taking it out on customers. read more

First time I ever ate at a Flame Broiler. I had the Chicken and Angus combo plate. Flavors were really good. I don't know what the put on the chicken but I could just eat that all day. I like the chicken veggie bowl because it's very flavorful and healthy me and my family really like the food there. I like that you can put hot sauce or terraki sauce. I get the chicken mostly with green onions.
