Admit it. You eat fast food just like the rest of the world. It's convenient, cheap, and easier than cooking a meal at home. And with busy families, it just makes sense. But if you're anything like me, the guilt of eating processed chicken nuggets dipped in flavored high fructose corn syrup sits in your stomach like a Big Mac laced with E-coli. The Flame Broiler takes care of all that guilt. Their bowls are all made to order and are cooked with little to no grease. The result is a fresh bowl of rice (your choice of fried, white, or brown) with meat (chicken, beef, or a combo) and the option of veggies, which I highly recommend. I haven't had a bowl this tasty in a while! They put Panda Express, Sakura, and Kentos to shame. If you like al dente type veggies, then you'll love these. They're cooked ever so slightly where they retain all their natural goodness. Never soggy, never oily. The combo is only $0.10 more. Which isn't bad. I think the bowls are around $5 which really makes for an inexpensive meal. Prep takes less than 5 minutes, so you're in and out faster than some mega fast food chains. We all eat fast food. Taco Bell and McDonalds are both right by. But anymore my stomach just can't take that food so I avoid as much as possible. I don't always have all the time in the world but The Flame Broiler is my go to for grabbing a quick dinner on the way home from work when I don't want to feel guilty cramming down a fast burger or chicken nuggets. I always get the chicken bowl with rice and veggies. The teriyaki sauce is pretty tasty on top and I only put just a little bit. The chicken itself is all white, good cut, and tastes great. The bowls are absolutely filling to me so for smaller eaters you could probably get a couple meals out of one. It's a perfect stop for what it is and when you need a quick healthy meal.
