Parking was easy and the restaurant itself was clean. SERVICE. The counter staff was friendly and courteous. Service was fast and efficient. Upon entering the establishment, you can expect to order and receive your food relatively quickly. I got the Mooyah burger and a side of fries. The fries were crispy and paired well with the burger. The burger was pleasant, savory, and plentiful. It definitely scratched my itch on smash-burgers. I will definitely be returning for another smash-burger soon! It's also right across El Camino Real from the Regal theater, making it a great alternative to typical theater food. Plus, there's plenty of parking. Unfortunately, the service here has declined quite a bit. The staff no longer seem to stay on top of keeping the tables clean, and guests are rarely greeted when they walk in. There also doesn't appear to be anyone consistently monitoring the front entrance. At a location this busy, at least one staff member should always be attentive to customers and ready to help rather than forcing guests to interrupt conversations happening on the assembly line. Lastly, take a look at the photo of today's burger. It was carelessly assembled, and presentation matters because we eat with our eyes first. First impressions begin the moment we walk in and continue when the food arrives. I've noticed this location's ratings have become pretty mediocre, which is disappointing because they truly operated at a 4- to 5-star level when they first opened. I'd love to see them turn things around with a little more care and attention to detail.

Despite me having proof of the order, they took no responsibility for their system failure. There was also no apology for for the massive inconvenience. I had a room full of guests and no food to serve them. It was like an "it is what it is" attitude. After the party, I called to speak with the manager and was told "corporate will contact you" - which we all know is code for "no one will contact you." It's sad because we really liked this place - we liked it enough to have our event catered from here, but lesson learned. They clearly don't care about their customers or the impact of their mistakes. Not worth the stress or the money.
