That being said, the food was AWESOME. Like I did not expect it to be so good -- the stir fried squid udon was packed with flavor, strong Wok Hei (breath of the wok; it's a distinct taste) and the ramen was savory and warmed the heart. My daughter was taking coding with Code Ninja for the summer camp so after I picked her up, we decided to check the surrounding for food. We went to Zion Market's food court. My daughter is extremely picky in a way she doesn't want too much sauce or sauce touching her food. So, I was surprised that she wanted to try the teriyaki chicken but she just wants chicken and rice. The owners (husband and wife presumably) were packing for a very large takeout order. The husband, the cook, took my order and I was very specific about just chicken and rice only, everything else on the side. He even asked me if green onions were OK. I told him on the side, only chicken and rice. He made it just as I described and my daughter loved it. She ate half of it and we took the other half to go. My daughter was happy and I'm happy too. He came out later to check on us to make sure we were OK and also gave my daughter a gummy snack! My lunch was spicy pork BBQ. Very yummy. Nice heat and very good over rice. We have yet to try the hot foods but have tried several of their sushi rolls! They sometimes have a special where you buy one roll and get the second roll for 50% off! They usually put out a sign or I always ask if the special is offered. Some of our favorites here are the baked salmon roll, spider roll, shrimp tempura crunch roll, and California roll. The sushi is fairly priced and most of the time made to order. They may have some rolls already made placed in the fridge for you to choose from! A good place for some affordable sushi. If you're looking for something quick, affordable, and delicious, K Pop Sushi is a great choice! It's also located in Zion Market if you want to get banchan such as kimchi or cucumber. There's also another location inside Wholesome Choice Market. Each time I visit, the cashier is always super sweet! I actually get the Korean food rather than the sushi. I highly recommend the Spicy Seafood noodle (I've gotten it twice!). It comes with a good amount of shrimp, clams, squid, and pork. I also really enjoyed the grilled vegetables and texture of the noodle. The squid udon was also delicious! My friends and I had to pass on the black bean noodle and sweet and sour pork. Okay, restaurant name aside, this is a place I'll definitely be coming back to. Located inside Zion Mart, it's right across from the jjajangmyeon place. There's enough seating where you can order from either place to sit down and eat, but it can get pretty crowded. After browsing the mart for a long time while deciding what to eat for dinner, I settled on getting the hwae-deop-bap (raw fish with veggies and rice mixed altogether with gochujang and sesame oil) here for to-go. The ahjusshi working here (I presume he's the owner because he was the only one working there at that time) kindly told me my food will be ready in about 10-15 minutes. During that time, I was preoccupied with browsing all the side dishes in the refrigerated section, and the next thing I knew, he brought out my order. I got back home and ended up eating more than half of the food (I was stuffed, but the food was so good). The raw fish tasted fresh, there was more than enough sauce, and I think I got my weekly intake of veggies in one night. Rice cooked just right, and I loved the side of miso soup. After storing the leftovers in the fridge, I ate the remaining ~1/3 for lunch the next day. Still tasted as good. Value food worth 2 meals, was only around $11. Highly recommend!! read more

I keep telling everybody to come here for sushi, my favorite is ordering a Catering sushi platter for all of my potluck, and social events. They are generous with their cuts of the nigiri fish and they work with you on your rolls selection. They are so kind to take into consideration shellfish allergies for school parties, and other specifications that I ask for. Sometimes I will ask for more cooked items in my rolls and they always hook me up. Their sushi platters are always the first thing to be snatched up at every party. I will just call in and tell Ryan if i want a $50 or $100 platter. I labeled them in my photos. Go in and place an order of rolls made to order and Mandu-gu (dumpling soup) or katsu Curry over rice. I've only had K Pop Sushi twice and both times from UberEats so I can't comment on service or what the location is like. However, the food from here has all been quite good. The first time around I got three sushi rolls and all of them were a healthy serving with about 8 pieces per roll. They came nearly packed and had plenty of fish, avocado, shrimp, etc. Like they were healthy sized rolls, not the scrawny cucumber stuffed ones you get at fast food places. They recently added their hot foods as well to their takeout menu and I quite liked their dumpling rice cake soup. A very hearty serving and you can pay $2 to get it topped with about 8 pieces of fish cake! I really liked the option to get some toppings put in your soup so that you don't have to choose. My dad and brother have ordered their fried udons and both enjoyed them. They came with a side of shredded cabbage and danmuji. read more

For $10, it was pretty good, so YAY, I'M a fan! The pork was deep fried just right where the juices were still there & the meat was not dry (reallllll easy to overcook pork katsu). The curry is not spicy, though you can request it, I like mine with taste, not spicy, so for me it was great curry. The corn, carrots, & potatoes were soft (not mushy) mixed in with the curry, then poured on top of the pork cutlet. The combination was delicious. I enjoyed this experience very much. Oh man what a wonderful bowl of seafood soup. This is their version of jjamppong. It's perfectly spicy if you want it spicy, and man, the broth was just so good. Not your usual mash up of chicken broth like the other food court places. This is the real deal. The California roll I got also tasted so fresh and delicious. It was surprisingly good considering it was food court food. I thought this might have been something I'd get at a sit down place. Definitely be back! And will try more things. I got sick after having a sashimi bowl, diarrhea for two days. She was nice, but the fish was not fresh.

I've ordered twice from here within the last month using GrubHub. The first time I ordered the sushi was AMAZING so delicious and fresh, today, the second time I've ordered, I got food poisoning. When I got the sushi it didn't look as fresh as it did last time and smelled a bit funky but I though I was just being me so I ate it anyways. I got the spider roll, rainbow roll and taco yaki. First I threw up the taco yaki, I though okay maybe I'm sick like stomach flu but then 10 min later I threw up the spider roll, how do I know what I threw up? By the colors. I just threw up for the third time in less than 30 min and decided I got food positioning. I gave them two starts because my first experience was great but my second experience was awful; I hope that the quality and freshness of the fish didn't lower due to COVID and making less orders. read more

The service is always friendly and fast. We usually do takeout and pickup some cold sake while in the market. Woohoo. This is the food court inside Farm Direct Market . Got California roll today and was very creamy and good . At $2.99, can't beat that. Lower star for the jajungmyeong, the sauce was too runny, was watery and need to thicken it up a little. Couldn't hardly keep sauce on the noodle. Also they put cabbage in their sauce which for me kinda ruined it. The portion was small, they just use a huge bowl. The price @$7.99 was kinda pricy for food court food . I mean you can get much better tasting jajungmyeong at a real restaurant for $1 less and the restaurant. The people work there was really nice though . The food court next to them that quit made this better hands down. The donkatau was not great either. $$$ with small portion @$8.99 . I may come to try something else . Their portion sizes are great, particularly for the spicy squid over rice, which is also cooked to tender, chewy perfection (not tough or rubbery). This place is located inside the food court area of Farm Direct supermarket. I came here to do some grocery shopping but I got hungry so I ordered the salmon lovers roll. *Menu: they have most of the basic Korean style sushi. There's just a board with a picture, price, and name with all the rolls. It made it easier to decide based on price and image. *Food: I ordered the salmon lovers roll to-go. It was about $6 which isn't bad for a random roll. I took it home since I ordered to-go. I'm guessing it was 25 minutes from pick up to the time I was able to eat it. Glad to say I did not get sick and the roll survived the car ride home. I thought the amount of fish and freshness of the fish was worth $6. You just order at the counter. No service was required but the cashier was a sweet little Korean lady who made sure I had enough soy sauce and chopsticks.
