Horrible horrible horrible .. To say the least. 14 hour work day to get bowls for the family. Place always empty and dead. Food ready literally 30 seconds. Thought was funny but took and left.. tired. Brought home nasty dry burnt chicken. Called and was nice. They wanted me to go back so they could examine. I explained it's the same chicken sitting on the grill they can try as I was there less than 20 minutes ago. It was raining and I wasnt going back. They did nothing and hung up and never answered phone after several tries. Horrible customer service. Never going back ever. Hope they go out of business soon! Always dead!!! The staff is very kind, the server Ayesha took my order, at least that's what the receipt says. Great customer service! This place is calm and quiet, which I like, and the food is really really good. I ordered the tofu bowl and the server/cashier said it would take longer to make but it was out very quick! Very pleased! Will definitely be coming back soon. read more

This is my favorite Flame Broiler! The staff is very friendly and offer quick service. I always get the chicken bowl w/rice & veggies. The chicken is consistently good, not fatty, dried out or burned. The veggies are perfectly crisp but still tender. I am in love with their Magic Sauce and Hot Sauce combination as well! This will be the last time I ever visit this location. I have ordered my bowl the same way for years and have never been charged double the price. Employees are supposed to be knowledgeable and attentive and alert when a customer is speaking to them. The meat was over cooked and charred. I've lived in this area for 5 years and used to eat here 3-6 times a month. I will drive to another location so I don't have to deal with incompetence or the duh permastoned (permanently stoned) employees. Not only was this place understaffed and busy, the girl Ramnia behind the counter was doing an AMAZING job. From memorizing my whole order after I had to upsize them as well as providing a no worries remark made my experience upmost amazing. She had a friendly attitude & have the place a relaxed atmosphere. She also was easy to ask about the hot sauce that needed replacing. A man after me walked in and she basically told him what he orders. That is true customer service when they remember your order and remember you cup of water. I'm a real big fan of flame broiler but this location always seem to disappoint. My biggest issue is that the chicken always taste over cooked. Have purchase food here over 4 times already. Staffing: what I assume are the owners, are here round the clock. They are constantly keeping a hawkeye on employees to see what they are doing and make sure they don't mess up. Can't really see employees liking to work in said environment(they seem stressed.) and makes it uncomfortable for customers. Food: food was great EXCEPT the red meat. Very chewy. read more

I had dinner here tonight (12/14/13) and I ordered the chicken veggie bowl with white meat and an extra order of white meat. The total was $10.xx. The wait was pretty long....that was fine though. While I was in there another customer complained that the soda was flat (I'm not sure, I didn't get a drink). This place JUST opened so it's really clean and the employees are friendly but I think the employees need more training in how to cook. The chicken was a little undercooked and the rice was very mushy. It had a good flavor so I will try it again but I might wait until they gain a little more experience. read more

A friend of mine is a regular customer here, tonight we decided to come for a quick bite to eat. We arrived at 8:25pm and as we were starting to order we were informed that they would be closing in 30 mins. Never have I ever felt more rushed and pressured to order and eat fast . My friend has always praised about this place for their good customer service and even he agreed it was not that good. As I was eating I found a hair at the bottom of my plate. When brought to the cooks attention he apologized and offered to exchange it for something else but after finding that killed my appetite for anything else from here. By far the best flame broiler location in 20 mile radius. The best location is located in duerte but this one is closer. Browls range between $6 to $6.60. They currently have a bowl+drink deal for $6.50. Everything is fresh, meat tender, the works bowl is really good. No skimping unlike other locations, less crowded so you get your food quicker. Highly reccommed, albertos across the way is also one of the best locations. These places are newer. read more

I come to this location at least once a week sometimes twice and my diet has recently changed where I don't eat any carbs or veggies. So I ordered four sides ( 2 chicken and 2 steak) and asked if they can just throw it in a bowl. Cashier tells me yes no problem and then 3 minutes later walks out and tells me my manager said we can do it this time but next time we'll charge you. First of all. Completely unprofessional to come up to me about some crap charge after the transaction was already done...super petty..second ..those bowls cost this company how much? 10 cents each IF that. Walked in the place at 6:42pm and ask for white meat for my meal and was told it takes to long to warm up the grills because they close at 7pm so I couldn't have white meat cooked for my meal. I've been eating here for quite sometime now and last night I was grossed out with the girl handling my food. When I walked up to the counter she had a fork in her mouth. She held it in her hand while she took my order! I thought maybe she's in the process of throwing it away, nope! I came out of the bathroom and she must had taken at least four more orders and still had this fork in her hand. When she handed me my food, she still had the fork in her hand hovering over my chicken bowl! That's a food safety hazard. I'm pretty sure I've been to a Flame Broiler before, years ago. Rabia, who was very sweet helped me and I got the mini bowl with chicken over veggies. The food came out very quickly, literally within a minute or ordering. It's a nice size, I wouldn't think it was a mini and I couldn't finish it at all. So I called my order in so that I wouldn't have to wait. I get to the flamebroiler to find out my bowl isn't prepared the way I requested. Instead of remaking my order before they help 5 people after me. They make me WAIT 10 minutes. Talk about customer service. Never did they offer to compensate me. I don't even care about the money or getting anything free. But it would have been nice of them to offer. Oh by the way the lasy in the back cooking told the cashier I didn't tell him & that's y my order was wrong. 1st of all I know I told him. 2nd if he wasn't rushing me off the phone, my order wouls have been right. My friends had been telling me that I needed to try this place. Finally did, not impressed. Had the combo bowl. Plenty of the beef, only 4 pieces of chicken. The kicker was that they skimped on the rice! Ran out of rice before I ran out of protein. Rice is cheap and filling! Veggies were minimal and just OK. I saw a lady in the back that looked Middle Eastern. She may have been the owner and was filling out minimal portions. Disappointing. I will not go back. Always nice people, I eat here a few days a week. But like most walk in and take out places you have to watch out for going between after lunch time and before dinner rush. The problem is the chicken sits to long and gets hard and dry. The vegetables and rice are always good. I understand they need to keep chicken ready to go when someone walks in but today my wife pick up a bowl for me and didn't know to check for fresh chicken. If you ask for fresh chicken during the off time they will make it for you. I like this place and will continue to go here I just wanted them to know it can be frustrating to eat dry meat. read more

We love the Flame Broiler chicken bowls every where else, but here! Been to this particular location a handful of times this year, mostly for to-go orders. Each and every time we've found the chicken to be overcooked, stale and/or burnt, albeit grudgingly editable. I think we'll be going to other local locations for tasty chicken bowls in the future. read more

Honestly the worst effing location ever. This place is so unorganized and rude asf. First, I called at 830 to place a pick up order and they didn't pick up, when I got there I told the girl up front that I had called numerous times and she said that they didn't pick up calls after 8:45pm...but it wasn't even 845 when I came in. Secondly, I asked the lady if I could give her cash and the rest in card as I was a little short, initially she said yes than said she couldn't do it. So ridiculous figure it out. After a long day I wanted to get something different for a late dinner, when we came across Flame Brioler... we had the chicken bowls 1 with veggies the other without, also a mini bowl for my little guy. He ate everything, as a mom I love to see my kids eat. The chicken was cooked perfect. We loved it but will get it to-go next time. Reason for 4 stars- an employee began picking up chairs, (It was about 8:30 the sign said they closed till 9:00) there was a couple walking the facility, I'm assuming they were the owners and they told the employee to immediately put the chairs down, It felt a bit uncomfortable and the noise startled my 2 year old. read more

Worst service ever. Arrived there at 8:40 (they close at 9:00). Was told I had to get my order packaged to go as they were closing... Hmmm really!? NOT!!! how RUDE I still had plenty of time to eat. Been coming to this location for a few years. Wanted to acknowledge the efforts of the girl behind the counter who typically takes the orders and maintains the cleanliness of the restaurant. Every time I visit this location, the place is spotless and very clean. She has always been polite and very accurate with my order. Knocked off a star due to proportion size being on the small side, which I assume is dictated by the franchise not the individual location.
