Ordered the Beef Bowl got the Chicken Bowl.
    Rafeek Y.

This review is for my lunch order today. I came here today and ordered a mini chicken and a mini beef bowl. When I got home I realized that they gave me two chicken bowls. This is an absolute pet peeve of mine. I'm not the person who's going to holds up the line to check if everything is there because I depend on the restaurant to get the order right. Other than that, the food was fine, the gentleman behind the counter was pleasant, and the orders were completed pretty quick.

    Small pieces but filling

My kiddos, and I like this place, is usually crowded for lunch or dinner. Do not go by yelp hours, they haven't been updated, for example it says that today it is closed for business, but it was open! I know the owner is always hiring, and I've seen him inaction with his employees. ( he can be rude, to them) but I've called him out on it. That did make me stop coming here for awhile, but my kiddos like their chicken with veggies, and how does mom say no to that! Overall place is clean, and delicious.

Overpriced. Asian guy understands true "shrink-flation." Barely any protein. All rice.

This location is by far the best Flameboiler around. I always order about 10 minutes out & the food is ready for me when I get there. It's always fresh, hot & delicious. Jacky, at the front desk, is super friendly, kind & always gets my order right. Thank you, Jack! Thank you FlameBroiler San Dimas for working so hard to give us great service & consistent, healthy & delicious food. You're the best...around (played with Rocky music)!!

You're out of your flipping mind charging me $16 for 2 of these. They're as small as my palm and not even completely full. I asked for 1/2 and 1/2 and I got 1 single piece of chicken. This is ridiculous and unacceptable. Guess I'll be making Waba my staple from now on. You cut corners- you also cut customers.

Filthy inside. This place is one of the dirtiest eating establishments I have dined in. See the attached photos I took of the restrooms. Moreover, the staff is short and rude and it was warm inside (no AC). Not sure how they stay in business.

if you got time to lean, you got time to clean. amen.

Had this place bookmarked for a long time finally had a chance to try their infamous Pho Brisket on Rye. Yes its gimmicky, a soup on a sandwich? Yup. Delicious? Yup. Messy, yup. Worth it? Most definitely. Doesnt work out exactly how I thought, but still enjoyed the massive sandwich. Legit ate about half, def recommend to share or split it. Comes with the rare beef like in a pho noodles, so you either eat the beef rare or end up with a soggy mess. I chose to dip-and-bite, which ultimately the rare nbeef doesnt really get the sauna treatment like in the pho soup. Looking forward to trying the BBH sandwich next time.

Happy to return back to enjoy another wonderful meal. YES, got my 4th stamp at And Broth! Half portion of Texan Pho (no substitutions) was the free offer via passport. Broth was deliciously savory. Plenty of noodles even in half portion. Love the fresh veggies! Brisket was tender and quite flavorful. Yes, I took a bite of the beef. I am seriously reconsidering to add beef back into my diet. I will need to start slow. Thanks And Broth for the tasty offer! In support of biz, I also got the Grill Chicken Salad plus an Ube Cream Viet Coffee. WOW, chicken and salad portions were impressively huge! Chicken was perfectly marinated and grilled. Just delish. Greens were very fresh and crisp. However, there was still a lot of water on the greens. After I brought it home, salad got whimpy unfortunately. They need to let the salad drain to dry. Ube Cream Viet Coffee was decent... ube flavor blended with viet coffee nicely. Staff was friendly and nice. Food came out timely. Atmosphere was quiet at shared seating. You can't ask for a better combination of great tasting foods, friendly service, and nice ambiance. I'll be back to try their other specialty Pho combinations. Come give them a try if you haven't yet!

I really wanted to love Couwami Asian Fusion!…read more The small, family run restaurant cozily braided into a strip mall one block south of the 210 FWY on Azusa had piqued my interest when I'd ferried an Uber Eats order from there on SAT. Interest captured by the vivid scents wafting from the kitchen and the mostly positive Yelp reviews, I boomeranged back 24 hrs later to place my maiden order. I went with Shanghai Egg Rolls and the Yang Chow Fried Rice, but I'd asked them to substitute more chicken and Chinese sausage for the shrimp, as your favorite Yelp correspondent has never enjoyed shrimp in any form other than cocktails. The staff is exceedingly nice!!! Owner/proprietor JOSEPH and his wife skate around as balls of determined energy, but with welcoming smiles affixed to their faces. The prices are pretty reasonable- My tab for a generous multi-protein entree and appetizer was $19.34 including taxes. But can we please have a conversation about the flavors? Couwami partisans! Tell me-- Did your faithful correspondent order the wrong items?! My Shanghai Egg Rolls were undercooked, limp and flaccid. The flavors were solid but the texture was so off-putting and uncharacteristic for a typical egg rolls, that I could barely get them down. The Yang Chow Fried Rice was also undercooked- I'm used to fried rice that has a toasted, beigy-yellow finish with chicken or pork cooked to at least medium to medium well doneness. My entree was, as the picture attest, a faint ivory hue and I actually hadta toss it in my skillet for five minutes to toast up the rice and finish cooking the tendrils of chicken, which were served medium rare, a micro-degree above pink but with the unpleasant mouth feel of sushi. Not exactly the way you'd expect your proteins to be prepared! I'm a huge believer in redemption. And judging by the hundreds of 4.2 level reviews on Yelp, I suppose its possible I just caught the cook on a bad night or ordered the WDT (Wrong Damn Thing)...twice! I'd normally accord two stars but will bump this up to three based on the utter civility and decency that Joseph and his staff extended to me.

Personally, living in SGV, there's way more options for the value point, so that factored in as well. However, I do have to say that service was good. Lots of smiles and it was inviting. It's popular with the community it's located in. We went on a week day night. Plenty of parking in the plaza. Good amount of other customers at table and counter bar seating. We got counter seating for 3 people. No wait. For our dinner, we got the: spicy miso tonkotsu, miso, and the sukiyaki broths, which were all decently solid. A bit light, but not too salty or dehydrating at the least. We all used sauce generously with our order, so maybe we should have sipped more soup or cooked more things in it longer? But we've never had this issue with other shabu places I've been to. For meats, we got the regular sized for all and had the angus beef chuck prime, beef toro, and lamb. Decent quality meat. Slices weren't too thin or too thick. Meat didn't cook and dry up immediately like worse places I've been to. All of our food came with a veggie plate and I will admit some of the lettuce/cabbage leaves weren't the cleanest or crispest so we didn't eat as much of the veggies as we'd like... We also ordered nigiri sushi on the side, which is just okay. Usually we wouldn't get something like that unless it came with the meal like an AYCE. Decent quality salmon, lots of rice and extra arbs on top of your meal though. Overall, it's okay.
