This plate is extremely small and they make it look like you are getting a lot of food when you aren't. They charged a convenience fee for what?? The soda machine doesn't work. The beef is thin and the broccoli is think.

I go when they open. Buffet style served by employees so you don't have to worry about dirty hands touching the serving tools. Super hot and fresh and they let you sample every dish to ensure your happiness. They stuff the to-go box so you can never complain about leaving hungry. My go to dishes are the teriyaki chicken with sauce on the side and mushroom chicken. I also enjoy the green bean chicken. you can get rice noodles or chow mein and tasty fried or white rice. Friendly helpful servers and tasty food. Only advice: They need a shoji screen in front of the employee table and extra drink storage in the corner to hide this unsightly area.

I had lunch plans with a co-worker the other day. She picked Royal Panda. Funny, the biz name is Royal Panda, but its sign says Chinese Food with a tiny Royal Panda on the side. Well, I guess it's important to emphasize what they are selling. It makes sense. They were not too busy at the time. We were greeted right away. They offer 1, 2, and 3 items plates at various prices. Selection of foods was good. Some items were spicy. My friend got 2 items. I got 3 items... teriyaki chicken, black pepper chicken, spicy fish filet... with half white rice and half noodles. Wow, I was impressed with the flavors and taste for a Chinese fast food restaurant. Quite tasty! Portions were huge! Staff was friendly and nice. They spoke Cantonese amongst one another. I know because I understood what they were saying LOL. Their English was decent so no worries... if anything, just point at the items. We did dine-in for about 30+ mins. It was a nice and yummy visit! I would come back here to try their other food items.

Best Spot in the SGV. Big portions bomb food and great staff and prices. Highly recommended!

This place is such a gem on a day I'm too exhausted to cook! The prices are wonderful for the portions they give. There's always hot fresh food when I go and quick service. Servers are always polite and joyful. I always have to get some wontons when I'm here. This is a combo B, with 1/2 fried rice and chow mein with two entrees. I tried the black pepper chicken super yummy with the bell peppers and veggies and the classic broccoli w beef. You will get your moneys worth and more.

While this often signals unwelcome adjustment for patrons accustomed to the manner in which an established restaurant's dishes are prepared, changes in recipes and/or ingredients being used, or just a plain old difference in overall taste or presentation, I'm happy to observe that, as a customer for decades, this wonderful little gem of a restaurant has maintained the key characteristics - both in food quality and service - that made our family fans so long ago. There have been some recent additions to the menu, in both dish selection and beverage variety, which actually align the restaurant better with contemporary tastes and dining trends. Traditionalists need not fear, however, as the old menu standards still remain and are as good as ever. (In fact, I didn't realize there had actually been a change in ownership until I directly asked our server after not seeing some of the usual staff over the last couple of visits; otherwise, I wouldn't have known.) In terms of ambiance, new booths were recently added (and are more comfortable), but the overall decor remains basically the same. Similarly, the service continues to be on point with dishes prepared upon order and delivered quickly, drinks refilled/refreshed regularly, and vacated tables cleared and cleaned in a timely manner. In summation, the Chopsticks House is as good as ever - and with a recently expanded menu, too. Portions are extremely generous, and they do not skimp on the proteins or quality of ingredients. Additionally, the popular lunch specials remain and remain a great value for early afternoon diners.

The dining room is beautifully laid out, making it a great spot whether you're grabbing dinner with family or meeting up with friends. Our waiter was one of the highlights of the experience--friendly, hilarious, and genuinely attentive without ever feeling overbearing. Great service can make or break a meal, and he made us feel welcome from start to finish. Now for the food... absolutely delicious. The Orange Chicken had the perfect balance of crispy texture, sweet citrus flavor, and just the right amount of tang. The Honey Walnut Shrimp was cooked perfectly--crispy, tender, coated in a creamy sauce that wasn't overly sweet, with fresh candied walnuts that added the perfect crunch. Both dishes came out hot and fresh. Everything about this meal--from the service to the food to the ambiance--made for a fantastic dining experience. If you're looking for a Chinese restaurant in the Pomona area with generous portions, flavorful dishes, and outstanding hospitality, this is definitely worth a visit. I'll absolutely be back to try more of the menu. Highly recommend!

I arrived hungrier a duo of teenage boys, ordered a three-item combo including all fried rice (no chow mein), Kung pao chicken and a double portion of their BBQ pork, aka Char Sui Pork.
