EXCELLENT customer service!!! Love the engagement that Avery & Diana had with not just me but with other customers while I was standing in line when my sandwiches were being made. I stopped into the Subway in San Dimas for lunch, and I was shocked at how unsanitary the setup is. I'm a working man just trying to grab a quick meal, but there was no public restroom available to wash my hands. The bathroom is marked employees only even though California restaurants are supposed to provide facilities for customers. I ended up having to wash my hands at the soda fountain, which is not only embarrassing but also completely unsanitary. It should not be legal for a restaurant serving food to the public to deny basic hygiene access. If I can't properly wash up before eating, I can't trust how clean the rest of the operation is either. This location needs serious attention. read more

They will not allow you to use the restroom to wash your hands. I was told that I can wash my hands at Starbucks across the parking lot. If I have to wash my hands at Starbucks, that's where I'm spending my money. The Subway at 1033 W. Arrow Highway has better service and will allow you to use the restroom as a PAYING customer. read more

I've usually had pretty good experience but today I was not happy :( I don't understand why my onions NOT in my wrap but they were separate in a bag. How hard is it to add all my ingredients and if they forgot, open it and ADD IT! Very disappointed! I had to put my fingers in the onions and add it myself. Now my wrap is messy and I still have a few hours to work. I can't get rid of the smell of onions from my hands even after I washed them a couple of times. I wrk in Chino Hills and live near San Dimas. I got off wrk at 8:30pm last night and decided to go to this Subway to buy a couple sandwiches for my husband and I. I checked with Google and it said that they close at 9pm. I got there at 8:51pm and they were CLOSED!! I could see the employees were already putting away the food. The employees looked at me and just shook there heads. If you are not going to stick to your 9pm closing time then you need to change it with Google!! I don't go to this location too often. Usually it's at lunch time and they start to build a line. The girls making the sandwiches are great but I have an issue with whom I assume is the owner. I don't get how he just stands there and rings up customers rather than helping out and getting the line down. On more than one occasion I've had to wait while the person before me getting several sandwiches was done and rung up before he would charge me for my one sandwich. The worse sandwich I've had ever. I got the chicken bacon ranch on Italian herb and cheese. The chicken was so tough it was like rubber. I asked for a little ranch and there wasn't any at all. I also asked for it toasted, not roasted! The bread came out so black, it was like trying to eat ash and dust. I also got a pastrami on white. It took them so long to heat it up, I swear they had no idea what they were doing. The pastrami was like 90% gristle and 10% meat. I also asked for mayonnaise which was virtually vacant. I went to Subway to get lunch. A sandwich artist made my order correctly, but there was a man behind the counter that seemed like he didn't know what he was doing. I had come here other times and the other sandwich artists had always made my orders just fine. This man (he was not wearing a Subway shirt) was at the cash register. He totally messed up my order and charged me for my order and someone else's order. He looked at me as if it was ok. I didn't even know the person. He just assumed we were together without even asking. He seemed disorganized and still could not get my order correct because I didn't receive the cookie that came with my meal. I came back, and he tried to tell me that I did receive it. He really didn't seem to know what he was doing. Hopefully, he learns to do better in the future. I usually like to go to this location, but I would be weary of this man working behind the cash register. read more

Man this subway staff is slow! I came here thinking I needed to grab a really quick lunch, but I also didn't want a bag of grease from McDonalds or the like. I figured Subway would be a good option. There are several people in line waiting for the laziest sandwich makers I've ever seen to get the orders done. Finally when I got to the front I put in a simple order, "cold cut combo. foot long on wheat, toasted, with lettuce tomato and onions. No cheese". You'd think she would have been able to put that together and produce my order quickly, but no. Instead she slowly repeated it back to me (which was fine), and then slowly began to get each item, and as she did she looked up and confirmed it again! "You said wheat, right?" Yes, I said that, you repeated it back to me remember? When it came time to pile on vegetables she completely forgot what I had said and preceded to go through the list until I stopped her. "You want olives? No. You want green peppers? No You want spinach? NO!". Finally my order was ready, and then she had no clue how to ring it up, but instead of admitting to herself that she didn't she fumbled with the register for a few minutes before finally giving up and calling someone. I seriously HATE bitching about the staff at places like these. Chances are they're underpaid, over worked, and have to put up with customers being jerks all day. Always have a good experience here. Glad it is close by. Good food done correctly and very helpful polite employees. Have to up-date review. Was 5 star now only 2. Something has changed. Last 3 visits not good. They ran out of lettuce, bread was old (crumbled not fresh), very poor selection of chips. Most racks empty. Again bread not fresh and chip selection not good. Today bread was cut by site (not using the marker on counter). Moved knife back and forth to try to get in middle. Only put 2 cheese, in past had 3 per 6 inch sandwich. Did not ask me what I wanted, I was in control. Have not seen any if the previous employees, only young workers that do not seem to have any mangers or direction. Maybe it sold.... Sad about that may have to drive farther to get better food and service. 4/30/15 I was right new owners took over couple days ago. Good customer service and food was great. Even met new owner. I eat here about 3 times a week. I want to give it 4 stars, but going on a Sunday morning was my worst experience of any eatery. I ordered the cold cut combo foot long with a salad. The two girls were lazy and unorganized. The girl could not fit the meat into the bread, so the sandwich was very sloppy. My salad was thrown into two salad bowl tops and wrapped in a bag. I ended up throwing 9 of my 12 inches in the trash along with the messiest salad, ever. Not all subways are like this. They are pretty good; they're my favorite sandwich place. I wrote a review but apparently there are 2 listings for this restaurant so I am placing my review on this listing as well. This is the Subway I have always preferred in San Dimas. However, I am not sure I will go back. We ordered 3 "giant subs" for a party. All of them had way too much bread, which is completely different than the regular sandwiches. The turkey sandwich had very little turkey to where I and most of our guests ended up leaving the bread and eating only turkey and other items inside. In addition, I asked in the special notes section to please cut all 3 sandwiches. Only 1 of the sandwiches was cut and we had to take the time to unwrap and cut 2 of the sandwiches while we were trying to get other things done for the party. It's messy to cut so we also had extra clean up. My husband picked them up and said they were nice but seemed unprepared. I sent a note to customer service for Subway. I got a quick reply and she said she would contact that specific restaurant and would get back to me if they offered any refund and there has been no further communication. I can only assume they don't care. I would have taken an apology but it's way too expensive to just be ignored. I definitely would never use the catering again and will have to think about the rest. read more
