    Taquitos plate
    Joyce A.

I just needs a quick meal and decided on the drive through: I got three items : Orange Bang easy ice medium - sweetened and creamy like I remembered- 8/10 Taquitos plate - with a side of refried beens plus Mexican rice and chopped lettuce, tomatoes topped with four cream and a side of guacamole cream sauce - 6/10 because the taquitos stayed crunchy! Mystery meat might have been shredded beef but not great taste. The asada burrito was just sad : I got the carne asada with rice and beans : 4/10 - it was sizable but the meat was so dry and chewy that I had to give up on eating it at all. Takeout was under 10 minutes but no one was in the lot or behind me. I probably should try coming earlier rather than for dinner time because the meat sure seemed like it might have been sitting in a warmer or heat lamp all day. I might give them another try sometime.

    Bacon hamburger combo
    Kristen A.

Late night munchie trip led us here. We arrived right before they closed the deive thru 945pm Ordered 2 - bacon hamburger combos Hamburgers were good, fry portion is huge. Fries were super over salted but I would go back. (We just shook them out in a strainer lol ) If you're looking for a quick 10$ combo try flames. We have also tried their breakfast burritos and they were good.

Jr burger but I told them I just wanted chili and cheese

All of the time I asked for a junior burger I tell them just to add chili and cheese only I keep getting a burger with lettuce, tomato, onion, and that secret sauce. I don't like it as much that way they only got it right one time out of like the 5 times I have gone there

No longer a full chicken and rice. Only half and half

This place has fallen off. A worker has gotten mad because I sent back two orders of fries cause they were burnt twice. For years they've done their full teriyaki plates with salad in the side and with no notice or letting any one know they now make it only half with half salad in the same tray Wait times have increased

I love flames! My favorite dishes have to be the chicken nachos and fries. They always give you a massive bag of fries and they're so fresh.

    Menu June 2025

Good food and fast service. The best noon rings are fresh and not overcooked. Patty melt and fries were also very good

Chili cheese and bacon cheeseburger cant go wrong with this combo.

I can't say I'll go out of my way to eat here [in person], just because when I dine out I prefer a more traditional 'dining out' experience, but I certainly recommend it if you're in the area, and it will be on the list the next time I'm around and want to just chill with a burger and a beer with a friend or two. Pricing didn't upset me much - $75 for three people, which included two sides, a beer, a fountain drink, and a shake, in addition to our main orders. So, not bad for 2026. Big ups for the free pickle slices, too. :)

The restaurant has spacious indoor dining, mostly booths. They also offer drive-thru ordering. The drive-thru entrance is easiest when entering from the Pioneer Blvd side. The order-and-pickup window is on the passenger side. A little awkward if you're a solo driver. Decent number of parking spots, too. The fries are GENEROUSSSSS and could easily be shared between 2-3 people. One of my favorite burgers there is the bacon cheeseburger, bacon is always nice and crispy and lettuce always nice and fresh. The burger patty is also perfectly cooked. I love the bacon breakfast plate, pro tip is to get scrambled eggs and add bell peppers onions and cheese. The French toast is also PERFECTION. You literally do not need to add syrup. The butter and cinnamon is always in perfect ratio. Another can't miss is the vanilla ice cream. Apparently they make it in house? I love it! Would probably taste amazing in a root beer float. There's also a lady who works the window that is also super nice and friendly. Ps don't forget to ask for the chilis and salsa!

According to their website, they also make appearances at Breweries and Food events, so you may see them out and about. It popped up on my radar through yelp and I wanted to check it out as a local. I had their "black market burger", which was a double smash burger on a grill top with grilled onions and on a potato bun. They mentioned that their fries are cooked in duck fat, which typically gives a savory flavor to fries that you don't get in seed oils. They also mentioned their "new school american cheese" is new school because it's real cheese, but it tastes and melts like the American cheese. They were friendly and they brought it to my car as soon as my order was ready. I think that this burger would be nice with a beer at a brewery and, if you check out their website, then you could see when/where that happens. As it stands, I enjoyed their namesake burger and fries; however, I'd probably want to go with one of their more dressed up burgers or chili fries and I'd BYOB if I were to come back to see them at LB Towne Center, which has no less than a half dozen options for burgers. I definitely respect the grind. If you do come to check it out, check their hours before you head over to the gas station or check their website to go to their appearances at local breweries (which is probably how I'd rather have it). I hope they consider going to busier food events where their offerings can be paired with other food experiences. Soft drink options would also be nice. Again - I respect the grind and think that if you want to try a double smash burger on a potato bun, then you should consider giving it a shot.

They were at Long Beach FC's game at Cabrillo Jaguars Stadium & were so thoughtful to have planned to stay open well after the game ended so that the players & staff would be able to enjoy a burger too. (My boyfriend is one of the founders of the team so when I sent him a photo of the menu, I realized he won't reply til he has time & the game had just ended and he has to help take down everything.) We ordered the black market burger, the shady Swiss, and the bootlegger fries. Everything was phenomenal! I actually ordered my Swiss burger mainly for my boyfriend to try, because he likes mushrooms and I do not, but to my surprise I scarfed down the burger within minutes! That potato bun, the garlic aioli, the patty itself-oh my goodness-heaven. The burger was packed plenty with mushrooms & I enjoyed it all. I ordered the fries because I saw that they were thick cut and after hearing they were cooked in duck fat made me intrigued to see what the difference in taste would be & I was beyond impressed. They were just cooked to perfection with the perfect ratio from crispy crunchy goodness to the soft potato filling. My initial plan on the fries was to share half with my boyfriend (he only ordered the burger anyway), but my lack of discipline left him with just 1/4 of the fries He finally was able to eat 30 minutes after I received the food and his immediate reaction to biting into the burger was that it was really good! When he tried the fries he was impressed that they were still crispy and enjoyed the fries as much as I did. I wish they were coming back to next week's game, but I will definitely be there for every game they're popping up at (and to support my bf's team ofc ) .

I love the grilled onions on top. We usually eat it from the top to the bottom, so we usually don't get much sauce or toppings when we get to the bottom. I think it's meant to be mixed, but we don't want it to get mushy. The be sliders were good. The patty, sauce, and grilled onions were good. The Ube bread didn't have much Ube taste to us (imo). And I felt like I was getting more bread than the actually patty and what was inside the burger. I felt like I could have used more sauce to soften up the dry texture I get from the bed. If you're looking for a quieter meal, this may not be the best night to visit. The food itself was good, but the wait was much longer than expected. We waited almost 40 minutes for our order. Unfortunately, my burger was also made incorrectly. I ordered the Bacon Bleu Burger but was served a different burger instead. Not quite sure what it was, but it had mushrooms and American cheese. With so many appetizers, I went with a Caesar salad and two soft tacos (shrimp and fish). The Caesar salad was good and healthy sized, so I could share with others. It was a typical, but good, Caesar which didn't have anything fancy about it (no anchovies, egg yolk, etc), but nothing was really lacking either. Both soft/street tacos were good, respectable in size and very tasty. Other people in our party got burgers, goat cheese salad, chicken sandwiches, and everyone seemed very happy with their meals. They're located in a high foot traffic plaza, so finding a spot can be a hit or miss. Ambiance/Environment: They have a small indoor space with a decent amount of indoor seating. Very casual and chill. I visited on a weekday, so it wasn't too busy. Service: I was greeted right when I entered. She asked if I had any questions and offered help. There's two self ordering kiosks. You can also order takeout. Throughput took a little over 10 minutes. Food: I ordered the Rosemary Chicken Katsu Sando with baja chipotle sauce and waffle fries. Their sandos are my favorite menu items. Perfect for lunch. The chicken katsu was fried and seasoned deliciously. The bread was milky and light. The waffle fries tasted as expected. My only tip is try to eat the sandos asap. Otherwise the bread might get too soft. I really wanted the strawberry sandos for dessert, but they were out of stock that day. Highly recommend trying the sandos! Pricing: They have daily deals at an extremely affordable price. Honestly everything on their menu is worth its price. Will definitely be visiting this small chain again!
