Sitting at the Center of a strip mall, Flaming Grill & Supreme Buffet is what you expect it to be, with its large font out front, and using words like "Supreme" to describe its foot, the buffet is focuses on broader American and Asian fusion type like cuisines. The service is quick, the food is actually quite good for its price and the selection is very strong and fresh. With inflation being a constant part of the everyday narrative, I'm just glad a restaurant like this still exists today. Taste: 4.5/5 Service: 4.5/5 [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance: 2.5/5[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Value for money: 5/5 (maybe even a 6!) We had: 1) Hibachi Station: this was a very nice surprise! The hibachi station was manned by a single chef (sometimes two) and was cooked on point. The flavours were better than expected and on par with going to a dedicated authentic hibachi, I would just come back for this alone. 2) Blue crab: not bad 3) Salmon and other rolls: okay as well 4) Mussels and clam: quite good 5) squid: not bad! 6) Chicken wings: good 7) Steamed fish: very flavourful and authentic 8) dessert: the tiramisu was good! The strawberry shortcake was okay All in all, this was an amazing value play for the flavours and choice the restaurant provides. A+ for that alone!

I've been here a few times, but this is the first review from me. I'll start out by saying prices for lunch or dinner buffet aren't too bad; lunch is about $15, and dinner $20, one thing to note is that soda or juices, flavor drinks etc are not included in these prices. We typically opt for water since the food is salty, you'll need lots of water. My family and I usually visit for lunch, however, I know during dinner there's some nicer options, such as crab legs, and other sea food selections. The food selections are ok, it's standard buffet items, with a good variety of sushi, and hibachi which most buffets do not offer. You'll find your typical fried rice, and chowmein, along with lots of chicken; fried, teriyaki and a few more. The sushi stations are always loaded with many different variations of sushi; raw, cooked, and some cold salads also, seaweed and kani (cold crab) salads. The hibachi is well with the $15 alone. You can choose from rice, or noddles, all the vegetables and all the protein you desire. I usually do not get it because it can get very salty. Staff members are good at walking round constantly picking up the empty plates from tables, it's all you can eat, so they'll be coming to your table quite often. I personally think if you come here just for sushi you can't go wrong with the price, or even the hibachi if you are ok with the salt intake. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is always clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] One thing I always notice is at the very front of the restaurant they always sell some random items. Work gloves, kids toys, fake bags and wallets, it's strange, but normal I suppose for the Asian establishment.

This is a typical buffet. Lots of fried food, sushi and hibachi stations. Lunch had some seafood. The steamed fish and grilled salmon were tasty but they ran out and did not replenish it. I was there at 11:30 and it was out by 12:15 ish. Raw and cooked clams, mussels were there. They replenished slowly. No lobster or oysters or crab. Service was decent. They servers try to clear the table and refill the drinks. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place has a nice party room! A lot of families with graduation parties were there[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. Everything was decent but we need to try this place for dinner to see if they have lots of decent , good food! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The front area was a lot hotter temperature wise than the back.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Try to get seating in the party area. Worth the extra tip.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Flaming Grill & Supreme Buffet - W/Hibachi Grill area. (516)544-2222 1773 Grand Ave, Baldwin, NY 11510 Every day lunch and dinner buffet. Sunday: ALL DAY DINNER: $18.99. THIS IS SOOOO WORTH IT. The food is AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS. Lobster or crabs legs are no longer available ant this location. Until further notice. They have stone crabs and blue crabs instead. [[HIGHLIGHT]]5 STARS in food, service, atmosphere and cleanliness.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Manager: Nicki Server: Pheobe [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is actually an amazing space with hints of Las Vegas Sparkle. The ceiling over the buffet is stars in the sky. Modern light fixtures and beautiful chandelier.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] HUGE selection of dishes. The different varieties of protein and vegetables cooked in different ways. Then guess what. They have a HIBACHI grill area w/ 4 chefs. I had 7-8 plates of different items and went back for 2nd & 3rds of some dishes. It was all so delicious. Manager Nicki and our server Pheobe were amazing, friendly and very welcoming. Will definitely come back. Thank you.

Invited by the teens after a graduation I came to this spot for the lunch. My children are crazy about sushi AND hibachi so it's cool that this place has both. The variety of different things from fried foods, meats, seafoods, soft items like Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes and a jello bar made it a true buffet. The chocolate fountain was not on deck but that's ok. On top of all the different things from salad to ice cream I want to say the fried foods section was excellent. I don't usually indulge but I did yesterday afternoon. I believe it was $150 for 7 adults and one child not bad for AYCE. There was parking right out front and the best part was the woman in the front. She was so super sweet and polite. Bombarded with a bunch of after graduation goers (our groups combined were over 20)- no they were not. They threw us in the party room and quick thinking because as the lunch passed, the restaurant filled. They gave us pitchers of drinks and the service and attention was prompt and constant. Honestly not my cup of tea (Chinese food buffet) but I have zero negative things to say. One can indulge in a guilty pleasure like fried foods now and again and live to tell about it. We didn't get hibachi but we definable tried everything else. Enjoy.

It was a three star rating before I bit into raw bacon and raw shrimp. Other food was typical buffet fare. I liked the ice cream section where they had individual packaged ice creams and bars. Much cleaner than scooping it out yourself. Hibachi station was probably best thing there. All other food was very bland. Their fried chicken was pretty good when it came out fresh. Sushi was okay (for a chinese buffet) - the rice was a little hard but the filling was alright.

I went for the lunch special. 14 bucks for all you can eat. There is a large selection. They have baked and fried fish. Chicken, pizza, desserts, rice and plenty to choose from. I can make it through two plates. I usually get veggies, rice, something from the salad bar and enjoy their pizza. My only complaint is the food is salty. Be careful!

    Try the flan! Yummy!

Just a simple buffet with a small, choice of food. Some dishes are very greasy. I was surprised it was a line even at the door.

The selection isn't as good a Mizumi but it got the job done. Dumplings were good and I enjoyed the egg drop soup. Most of the Chinese food that I tried was pretty good but nothing fantastic. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised and I had a good meal. Lunch was $20.99 and a soda was like $2.50-$3.00 (I don't remember). It was quick and easy. I would note that the noise level can be high, could feel a bit cramped when busy and everything just seems a bit dated/old.

Global Buffet is a huge restaurants inside a large brick building and is hard to miss. There is plenty of parking as it sits in a large shopping area. We came on a random weekday and I was surprised how busy this place was. We were a slightly large group so it did take a minute for them to put some tables together. Customer service was great from start to finish. Our table stayed clean and our drinks stayed full. My uncle footed the bill, but I glanced at the prices and they are very reasonable here. The buffet setup is massive. I've honestly only seen bigger in Vegas. They had about 3 rows of foods. On top of that, off to the side, they have salad and dessert bars, a hibachi station, and a large sushi station. As the name of the restaurant suggests, the offerings are truly global. They have a variety of different cuisines but the main focus is Chinese food. I had a flight to catch after this meal so I took it a little easy on my intake. I started off with sushi. For a buffet, the sushi was actually pretty decent. Set your expectations correctly and you will enjoy it. Everything else I tried throughout the buffet was good. No complaints from anyone in our party. Overall, for a Chinese buffet, this spot was not bad at all. I wouldn't seek it out or feel compelled to come back, but would not complain if the family brought us back here again.

I unfortunately had to spit things out with 3 different items I tried. Two were unable to be chewed. One was a spicy beef, I could not bite into the meat or cut it. The second calamari, rubber and hard, just don't. The last was a cake a nepolian I belive and it was stale and the cream was oddly solid. There was some decent food but nothing to write home about. The service isn't bad, but it was definitely awkward. The staff is attentive, but they will stand over you and speak to each other in their native language as if you are not there. I would say avoid this place.

Let's just say we came hungry... We arrived during the weekday lunch and were greeted and seated almost immediately. One thing I really appreciated was that the background music wasn't blasting. We could actually hear each other without shouting across the table, which made the meal so much more enjoyable. I immediately ordered our usual Lunch B, and if you're wondering what to get, here's my recommendation: Thick-cut pork belly Thin-sliced pork belly Thin-sliced beef brisket And our absolute favorite... the beef intestine! If you've never tried the beef intestine, don't knock it till you've tried it. It's incredible! I love that they cook everything on cast iron because it gives the meat an amazing sear. Even better, the staff cooks everything for you, and they absolutely know what they're doing. The thick-cut pork belly paired perfectly with the kimchi. The thin slices weren't cooked until they were completely crispy. Instead, they left parts beautifully browned while keeping the rest tender and juicy. You get the best of both worlds with every bite! We also ordered the bean paste soup, beef soup, and bibimbap on the side. My parents can be pretty picky, especially when food is overly salty, so I was pleasantly surprised when they both commented on how well-balanced the flavors were. Everything was seasoned just right! The staff rotated between cooking and serving, and every single person provided excellent service. Two moments really stood out. The first is during our second round of ordering, I ordered the spicy pork ribs along with a few other meats. The ribs arrived on a portable trolley next to our table, but by then our daughter was getting tired and we knew we'd have to leave soon. I asked one of the staff if it would be possible to return the uncooked spicy pork ribs because we wouldn't have time to eat them. I was also a little worried about being charged for them. The staff kindly checked for me and came back with a friendly, "Okay!" I was so relieved and really appreciated how accommodating they were! Then came the second moment that completely won me over. After my wife handed over the payment, one of the staff came back to let her know that gratuity had already been included and that she was accidentally tipping twice. That level of honesty and integrity deserves recognition! From my experience, not every restaurant would take the time to point that out! To the entire staff working on July 10, 2026, around 12:00 PM, thank you for treating your customers with genuine hospitality, kindness, and honesty! You all deserve a raise! Excellent food, outstanding service, honest staff, and a relaxing atmosphere. What more could you ask for? Highly recommended!

I admittedly tried every type of sushi roll and came away liking them all. As far as a fish buffet, Flaming Grill is surprisingly adequate and fills in a void that's missing post-Covid. I believe that they're one of the last traditional buffets left in the state, and possibly even on the East Coast. However, the meat options are very much so hit-or-miss. I still find the beef brisket and any types of beef dishes to be unpalatable. The Orange Chicken-type dishes also seem to be packaged, processed and probably reheated. The chicken wings have a yellow sheen, but they've been like this every time I've visited so it's just the product they're using. They do have a hibachi grill in the back, which is their saving grace as they will prepare all types of meats fresh for patrons. The desserts are all okay too, with the amount of fresh fruit available being another saving grace. I found the soft-serve ice cream out of the machine in the back to be unpalatable, but they also have packaged ice creams available. Service is fine, clearing dishes occasionally and asking about refills, and the atmosphere is slightly dingy but still modern enough for the buffet. I'm surprised at how much foot traffic they get, but I suppose that's the only way to sustain a buffet especially at a sub-$20 price point. I'm grateful to have Flaming Grlll as an option for a solid buffet in town, and it can be possible to put together a couple of relatively healthy plates.
