It was fried entirely too hard, in old oil, and was covered in a red sauce- red red like food coloring- see pic. General Tso usually comes with broccoli- this order came with **TWO** small broccoli florets with lots of carrots, celery and green peppers--- YUK! I also ordered egg rolls and was given all pork! I guess if you don't specify no meat- they automatically give pork. Finding good Chinese takeout nowadays is a hard task but this place is definitely NOT it.

We never have to ask for anything beyond placing our order because our server always anticipates what we need, and every member of the staff has been friendly and polite. As for the food, this is easily the best American-Chinese restaurant I've had on Long Island. Our favorites are the General Tso's chicken, which is perfectly crispy and coated in just the right amount of sauce, the crab rangoons, which are generously filled with crab and cream cheese, and the house fried rice, loaded with a great mix of proteins and plenty of egg. If you haven't been here yet, I'd absolutely recommend giving it a try. I'd put much more weight on your own experience than on a handful of reviews that seem wildly out of step with what we've experienced.

The only other food I've tried is the beef fried rice, which was just ok. It looked better than it tasted. 3/5 I'm not sure how the rest of the food is, but I'm sure it satisfies a Shanghainese Food craving. We find ourselves here almost every week. We were just here on Sunday evening, and somehow, here we are again for dinner tonight! When we arrived, the small front parking lot was completely packed, but there's an additional parking lot in the back, so parking is never an issue--a much-appreciated convenience. As soon as you walk into the restaurant, you'll see a large aquarium right by the entrance, filled with an impressive selection of live seafood, including lobster, various kinds of fish, and crabs. It's always nice to see the seafood swimming in the tanks, knowing that what you order is selected fresh for your table. Tonight, I decided to step outside of my usual order. I typically have the Vancouver crab steamed, but our wonderful server, Kevin, recommended trying the 2 1/2-pound Vancouver crab stir-fried with scallions and ginger, served with rice noodles. I took his advice, and what a fantastic choice it was! Because the crab was live, it was incredibly fresh, succulent, and naturally sweet. The ginger-and-scallion sauce was savory, fragrant, and wonderfully balanced, with the rice noodles soaking up every bit of that delicious flavor. It was absolutely delightful--one of those dishes where every bite leaves you wanting just a little more. Hubby ordered the chicken with black bean pepper sauce, and he was equally pleased with his choice. As wonderful as the food is, though, the people are what truly make this restaurant special. Lindy, the owner, Kevin, and the entire team consistently provide service that is warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Their hospitality makes us feel like returning guests rather than simply customers, and that is a big part of why we keep coming back. We'll be back very soon!

Dimsum is adequate. Not as good as the dimsum place in Flushing, but not horrible. The taro crescent is good. Raddish cake is also good along with the young chow fried rice. The soy sauce in the rice roll is a bit too sweet. Shrimp in the shrimp dumpling lacks flavor. Overall, I will come here if I live around here.
