Friend got "seasonal" which was pumpkin and I got the gluten free option. Pumpkin didn't taste much like pumpkin, but they do give you plenty of toppings. The gluten free was congealed and was just ok. The texture was chewy and grainy. The table kept turning itself off in the middle of cooking the pancakes. The table top does not cook evenly, even when it's on. They charge extra for regular syrup. Which is super weird when pancakes should come with regular syrup and random flavors should be extra, but making an extra $4 for maple syrup is nearly a guarantee. Important for anyone with a peanut allergy -- check any side toppings you get for your pancakes because my table's experience could have compromised someone who's allergic to peanuts. We had white chocolate chips on the side for red velvet pancakes and there were a couple of rogue peanut chips in there. My friend and I have been looking to try this place for a few years after seeing some TikToks about it. The wait was quite long this Sunday morning, but thankfully there is a system to check into the waitlist online, so we were able kill some time on the drive over. I enjoyed the experience overall! Actually came here for Yelp event and took an order to go. It was just the plain Buttermilk Pancakes and Whipped Mascarpone topping. I actually wanted the red velvet pancakes but they don't have those to go to avoid any cross-contamination on their griddles at the back. The custom flavors are only available for stove top. To go orders were for gluten-free or buttermilk pancakes only. That said I actually really loved even those buttermilk pancakes so I can only imagine how good the red velvet must be! Went here yesterday with my friend for brunch apart of northpark passport week. It was surprisingly busy for a friday, we waited about 15 to 20 minutes. It was a very fun brunch experience where we cooked our own pancakes at our table on a cute grill. They supply you with all the essentials, pancake mix, toppings, syrups, and colorful spatulas. Adorable brunch spot for many occasions! Although I think this place would be great to take kids or for a date night - so it's an interactive and can be a creative activity to make your own fun shaped pancakes. We tried the oreo and bananna pancake mix. The Oreo pancakes were flavorful enough that you didn't really need any additional toppings. I think the banana Pancakes could have used some banana slices. By themselves, they had a subtle banana taste. We ordered two pancake mixes, and there were only 2 of us, I would recommend only 1 mix for 2-3 people. You can make a lot of pancakes with one mix! We wanted to pair our sweet breakfast with something savory, so we also ordered the Peppa benedict. It was amazing! Smack dab in the middle of North Park and a few blocks away from the convenient parking garage, we walked in and immediately found a table. This place is super cute, very "Instagrammable" vibes and I love brunch in a bright space. Parking can be a little tough, especially on the weekends, so plan ahead. My partner had the Reuben Benedict and it was decent. Eggs weren't as runny as we hoped but not cooked solid either. The bread was a bit tough to cut through, which made it a little messy to consume. However, all benedicts are a little messy, so no big deal. Roasted potatoes were just right. I make pancakes at home regularly and didn't try the FYO option here (I know, I know, it's the whole point) but our friends indulged and it was a fun experience for all of us. The pancakes were decent too. They make it very easy. Prices are about average for the food but portions are fairly large, especially with the generous potatoes.
