We frequent Nate's at LEAST monthly for their impeccable vibe, delicious eats, and awesome staff. We've recommended Nate's to multiple out-of-town friends, and usually bring friends or family with us when we visit. The ONLY reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 (and I'm usually a 5-star/1-star girlie) is that we haven't seen Cari, one of our favorite servers, in either of our last couple of visits. Over a year ago now, Cari stepped UP when I became faint and almost passed out on Nate's front deck. It was a hot day, I am BAD at drinking water but great at sweating; and as I stood up, I turned paper white and the world got fuzzy. Cari swooped in the moment she saw what was happening - making sure I was safely lying down, getting me hand sanitizer for my forehead and a wet cloth for the back of my neck (rapid cooling!), and orange juice for my fluid imbalance. I'm so SO glad Cari was there to take better care of me than I take of myself. I miss our nerdy conversations, and hope she'll be back soon! read more

The bread was so good and the chicken was cooked perfect. My husband ordered the grilled cheese sandwich and the bread on his was so good with a bit of garlic. The Mac and cheese was cheesy with different cheeses in it and also delicious. We sat out on the patio where they had live music which was nice. They will post their bands that will be playing for that month on the wall. You don't really have a server as this is an order at the counter and pick a seat kinda place. This place used to be so good. Always a bit pricey but worth it until now. 20+ dollars for a cob salad that we added steak to. Requested medium as suggested and the steak came out cold, unevenly cut, and medium well/ well done. A couple weeks ago, I went to Nate's Garden Grill with a couple of friends as a birthday celebration for one of them, and just to spend an afternoon together. I was drawn to Nate's Garden Grill because they have an extensive music calendar, and because they have outdoor seating. It was an unexpected surprise when I found they were attached to a nursery. We ended up spending a long, leisurely afternoon/evening at Nate's. We were probably there from 2:30 until almost 8:00, though made a short shopping trip to the nursery partway through. When I walked in, the first thing I noticed was that it was very rustic, almost like a log cabin. The outdoor area is small with a very small stage. It was dog and family friendly. The indoor area is also quaint, but with bright murals. Staff was really friendly and had no problem with us hanging around all day. It was cool to see that they had a variety of mimosas and sangrias by the carafe. However, we chose to drink wine. They had decent bottles that were only $20, which is very reasonable for a restaurant. My friends and I shared the pesto flatbread. My friend and I also shared the black bean burger and a side of potato salad. My other friend ordered grilled cheese. She wanted fries, but unfortunately they don't have a fryer. So, she also had the potato salad. My favorite thing I ate there was the black bean burger. I would definitely order that again. I enjoyed the band that played from 6-8. They were entertaining, but also were not so loud that we couldn't have a conversation. Also, the staff brought my friend a free brownie sundae for her birthday which was very kind. This place is a hidden gem! I live nearby and decided to try something new for breakfast with my husband. The breakfast was pretty good. I had biscuits and gravy. They use Torque's Coffee and it was a nice brew. The atmosphere is amazing. It's got a cute little country vibe with a beautiful patio. It was a beautiful morning so we sat on their patio. They also have love music out there. It's a quick service style restaurant, so you order at the front and then they bring the food out to you. There is a self serve coffee bar inside. The staff were friendly. It's also right next to City Farmers Nursery, but that will have to be a different review. Perfect spot to get a bite and then wander through the massive nursery. Love this community feel of a hidden restaurant. I have been here several times and each thing is so good. They have indoor and outdoor seating and usually live music during the morning, afternoons. Parking can be challenging but oddly I've always found parking. The mushroom gravy biscuits and gravy are top notch. Nate's achieves the trifecta gold with delicious food, friendly service and entertaining live music. We visited on a busy Sunday (late) morning. We were a party of 10 and though we were not able to sit together we were able to split up among two tables. Hamburgers were amazing and my hamburger loving teen was beyond impressed. This is a great Sunday brunch spot, especially if there is music and a small spot to dance in front of them! Parking is extremely tough, and we ended up parking on the street a little bit further away. We placed our order and found some outdoor patio seating before we migrate it closer to the band. The food takes about 15 to 20 minutes before we can eat, but luckily, we can do some self-serving coffee and get our mimosas if we wanted it. The food was very delicious. We split the crab cakes on the kale salad and the vegetarian Ruben, along with coleslaw and chips. The crab cakes reminded me of deviled crab I loved as a child back east. I absolutely love this place. I look for any excuse to go here. It is located right next to City Farmers Nursery and a few other cute garden shops. So, you can take a nice walk through the nursery pre or post meal which is a huge plus in my opinion. They also often have live music playing on their front patio. There's no way this place deserves anything less than five stars. It's a charming café located next to a beautiful nursery--with a few adorable animals like donkeys, chickens, and turtles adding to the magic. The nursery itself is so calming, I could've spent hours just wandering around. They have a wide variety of indoor and outdoor plants, and the entire space feels like a peaceful escape. The café has a gorgeous vintage cottage vibe, filled with antique pieces that give it so much character--even the bathroom had a cute antique mirror that caught my eye. The food was delicious and freshly made. Portions were just right and very reasonably priced. I ordered the breakfast plate, which came with two slices of toasted sourdough and the most delicious mashed potatoes I've ever had.
