These burgers are legit so good on a toasted sesame bun with fresh veggies, that's one thing I look for is how fresh are the toppings and these guys blew it out of the park! If i could get their burgers more often id love to but every time you call or walk in its a 50/50 coin toss whether theyre closed or open regardless of what their hours are. The inside is totally not air conditioned, and the staff are genuinely some of the worst customer service ive ever recieved, right next to dick's last resort. So yeah decent burgers but good luck getting one. Go to sonic instead, seriously. read more

We are from San Antonio. Had a job here in Karnes tx. Saw a burger spot that says open until 8pm. We arrived there at 1:20 after lunch. As soon as we walked up to door lady locked the door and said they are closed. When sign says open until 8pm. Steer clear of this place as they do not care about the customer except themselves and when they want to work! My family was actually looking forward to trying this burger! Establishment is very spacious, clean, and organized. Staff was friendly and greeted me right away. I personally had the El Jefe burger with one patty instead of two. I got it to go & this is important because 30 mins later when I ate the burger, it was still delicious after sitting for a while. Now you're probably wondering why rate it 4/5. Well that's because I'm a fry guy & I got the cheddar bacon fries. Unlike the burger, I did eat the fries right away & unfortunately were not to my liking. We got the machete burger, 8 piece boneless wings, & a chili cheese fry! Machete burger was on point - spicy jalapeños and crunchy Cheetos- delish!! The meat patty was cooked well and had lots of flavor. The Chili cheese fries were okay, we asked for onions on top and there were huge chunks instead of chopped pieces. The real game changer tho was the wings! Got half medium and half garlic parm! The were so good paired with the thick homemade ranch. Hubby enjoyed himself and perfect amount of food for two people. We stopped here on our way to Choke Canyon. My wife and I enjoyed our hamburgers and fries, but our kids won't eat burgers and they were out of chicken. Bummer! They settled for grilled cheese, so did not go away hungry. Would be good if they had a few more kid friendly items on the menu. read more

I was pleasantly surprised with this burger joint. I had the enforcer amd my son had the patty melt. Both of us agreed it was really tasty.

Top tier restaurant. I've been coming here for quite awhile, and I've never actually had a bad experience. The restaurant is always clean, employees always nice. I live about 30 minutes away, and even when I get someone to bring me some food from here back its always still fantastic. The Cajun fries are very good, same with the burgers obviously. Usually good but went recently and lady came out the restroom and i hard originally ordered my burger to go and asked to eat it there when it came out she grabbed the whole burger with her bare hand and set it on the plate. Gave this place 2 chances hoping it would get better. Burger was average to poor, the water in the fountain drinks smelled and tasted so bad you have to buy a canned or bottled drinks from behind the corner and most of all the staff was just rude. Not been too many places in South Texas that make you feel like your a bother when your buying their food but these people do. No smiles, gruff answers to questions and just acted like they were doing you a favor in selling you food. Really poor customer relations and I went back a second time just to see if it was a bad day but the second time was worse. Really sorry disposition on the back of average at best food. Awwwwwww snap! I am only here in Kenedy for business and was devastated to see it is a tenth of the size of where I live... and my town is small. But not this small. We have been to the taqueria's and steakhouses in town and it's whatever. But this burger joint is off the hook! It doesn't look like much passing by, but wow. I had the True Grit burger and the combination of the pesto, Swiss cheese, and beef patty were amazing. Seriously... it was so good. I expected the burger to be heavy when I picked it up but it was surprisingly light! The fries were really good too! I just enjoyed everything - we even had a cookies & cream shake to top it all off. This is one of the better choices in terms of look and feel for this town, and in terms of food the flavor is good and worth the money IMO. The big kahuna burger, think pulp fiction, was very delicious and the easy rider, regular burger, was very tasty.... says my girlfriend.
