Here's the thing, I don't normally write reviews online. But with the service I received from Flash movers I really think they deservea a more than 5 stars review! Found them just on Yelp. After talking to the owner and getting a pretty transparent quote, I booked the moving service for right before around Christmas time. Two guys showed up 20mins EARLIER than the scheduled time with a huge truck and started right away. It took them only about an hour and a half to get all the 1bedroom stuff out, PLUS they brought their own tools and materials to disassemble and wrap my bed and other furniture. And reassembled the furniture again for me at my new place! No damages at all and very efficient! Guys, use local business! I moved 5 times in the last 5-6 years and this was hands down the most painless moving experience I have ever had. Highly recommend these guys and would definitely use them again for any future movings! read more

Flash Movers is the only moving company I consider for my moves because they are simply the best. I just moved over the weekend from the city to the suburbs, which was the second time I've used Flash Movers for a move in the last 7 months, and, once again, I could not be happier with the workers and company. They arrived right on time and got right to work. I'm a terrible packer and pointed out my packing flaws to Rubicel, Angel, Roger, and Steven, and they could not have been friendlier and more helpful. They came with their own packing materials, which I desperately needed for my unwrapped large mirror, TV, and various other fragile items I just left as is because I didn't have the correct/enough packing materials. I try to do as much as I can to help the move/movers go as seamless and easy as possible, but I realized how much I missed once they were there. Not only did they unscrew all my knobs from my dresses and nightstands, better pack/insulate and then tape up the boxes I forgot to do, and take apart my headboard/bed frame, but they then also set that all back up and put everything back together at my new place! I mean, sure bed frame and headboard might be expected...but putting my knobs back on?! Just above and beyond. Most importantly, they completely finished the move within a few hours (and this was during Friday evening rush hour in the city driving out to the suburbs!) and did so at a price lower than I would've ever imagined. If you need a moving company, honestly don't think about using anyone besides Flash Movers! While I was lucky enough to have Rubicel, Angel, Roger, and Steven for my move, who are absolute rockstars, you can't go wrong with any of the workers because this company is the best of the best. We hired Flash Movers after several estimates from other moving companies. We were nervous about picking the right movers considering we just sold our place and wanted to make sure nothing got damaged during our move. Our place wasn't easy to move out of, and they did a fantastic job. Not only were they very reasonably priced, but they came ready to work, and did so the entire time. They protected every piece of furniture as well as disassembled/assembled our larger furniture pieces, bedframes, etc. I made sure to tip them all well since they worked very hard for 6hrs straight. I am so thankful my friend told me about Flash Movers because they are a hidden gem of a company. Don't let the lack of advertising fool you - these guys are the real deal! Since then, I have used Manuel and his crew for two moves and have nothing but positive things to say. They are on time, attentive, fast and very affordable! My items have never been damaged, including large pieces of furniture that inexperienced movers have had issues with in the past. My only complaint is that they do not have another branch of business in Boston! Tip: Setting up an appointment is easy - you call the number provided, give Manuel a run down of what needs to be moved and when, and then you receive an estimate. Be sure to tell him if you have large/heavy items or will be moving to an apartment that is not on the first floor because these details will raise the cost. Nothing was damaged. They took apart and reassembled large objects to ensure they could move them safely. 3: Highest degree of professionalism: Punctual, polite, fast/efficient. Amazing team and service at flash movers! I was referred to them by a group of friends who had all used them as well that had raving reviews for them. They even exceeded expectations with their timeliness, friendliness, and professionalism. Nothing was damaged in the move at all. Manuel was very quick to respond to questions on Yelp and booking was easy. They showed up right on the dot and finished up early. I ran out of tape and they let me use some of theirs. They bring everything needed to move including plastic wrap, tape, all of it is covered in the great value price they give. I came to know about Flash movers from Yelp 5-Star movers list and they proved they deserved to be in that list. Quote : Maneul responded within 10 minutes with an hourly quote and when I sent a list of items he was able to provide a flat rate estimate. Communication : Online quote and a text Maneul was able to confirm my appointment which was in 5 days. Time Keeping : Manuel's crew arrived on dot at the scheduled time with 5 people and a truck Crew : The crew was super respectful and mindful of our items. They appeared to have great experience in moving and were able to pad/wrap all the furniture safely. Even though I had more items than what I provided in the quote(I realized how much stuff I had only when we started putting them in the boxes, Sorry Manuel) , they agreed to move them and even helped pack/tape few boxes for an additional tip. Travel/Unloading : My new place was 40 miles and the crew even helped me drop a elliptical on the way at a friends house 3 miles away from from my current home. They called and gave me heads-up when they arrived at the new place and unloaded/Assembled things much faster in less than an hour(I gotta agree they are the real FLASH movers.) They were even patient when we had to ask them to relocate few items as they unloaded. Value for money : Flash movers are worth every penny and their professional crew really deserve their name. I saved a decent amount of money with their Flat rate quote and even after the additional tip(They never insisted how much they want and they didn't complain for how much I gave) Things to Improve : While it is not a big fault it is just a miscommunication. During the Flat rate quote Manuel told it includes the entire service and materials but not very clear that they don't include packing small items. They told us they would only move taped boxes when they arrived and we had to scramble to have everything to put into boxes. Communicating this in advance would have let us plan and prepare better. These guys are fantastic! Super professional, showed up early and were ready in full force as soon as we greeted them. They had tools with them and took apart my GIANT entertainment unit when it wouldn't fit down the stair case, wrapped all of the furniture in shrink wrap so it wouldn't get marked up, and had moving blankets to throw over the electronics. Awesome movers! Arrived at 7:45am and their scheduled arrival time was 8:00am. Very professional and so fast! They had everything packed up, drove from River North to Lakeview and unpacked everything in less than 5 hours. We were moving from a 1 bedroom high rise and had a lot of stuff. Manuel was extremely responsive in getting everything scheduled and answering all of my questions. He estimated $300-$400 and they charged $450 due to how much we had which was way less than other estimates I received. Would definitely recommend and will be using them again in the future. I had scheduled a move on April 1st in the early evening and they were very accommodating, even for it being Easter Sunday. They arrived on time and were ready to go with the move without delay. Everything was wrapped up very carefully to ensure that nothing would be damaged too. In addition, they were very quick and efficient in moving all my items out of my place and onto the truck. Because of this, I wasn't expecting perfection, but they delivered. Manuel was quick to respond to my texts and worked with us to reschedule when our move date changed unexpectedly. On the day of our move, it rained heavily the entire day. They made sure to wrap everything in plastic. Nothing was damaged including our belongings or the walls. I recommend these movers 100 times over. Best guys I have ever worked with. We had to move two one bedroom apartments into one two bedroom as well as make one additional stop for a dining room table and bed drop off and the 4 movers were pros. They made 4 different stops, were quick, efficient, professional but what I loved most was how careful and considerate they were. They wrapped everything and offered to disassemble everything and then reassemble at our last stop as well. And 4 different stops in exactly 4 hours?? Insane. I have always moved myself with help of friends and family to save money. I get VERY stressed about moving. This move we were under a tight time crunch and had landlord drama at the place we were leaving. So we had no choice but to hire movers. My boyfriend found Flash Movers here on yelp. Zero stars would be more appropriate. My son hired them for a move and in the process they dropped a nearly brand new Samsung 55" TV and destroyed it. When the move was all done they jacked the price up $250.00 supposedly for excess cargo and then offered a $150.00 discount for the $600.00 TV they destroyed. We called the owner Manuel and he said they only pay $0.30 per pound for damage so we should have only been offered $15.00. When I asked for his insurance carriers information, he said he has an $1100.00 deductible so we weren't going to get a dime and HUNG UP ON ME. I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO MY WORST ENEMY.
