Always a good, comforting meal in a cozy atmosphere. The service is quick and our servers and all of the staff are always so polite. I'm a fan of their chicken dumplings but also like the chicken fried steak and my husband loves the steak fingers. I recently tried the meatloaf and it was pretty good. I may ask for less sauce next time. I appreciate that they offer Diet Dr. Pepper since they serve Pepsi products. read more

How does a professional restaurant mess up a meal that school cafeteria employees can cook? I ordered the Wrangler Steak which is a countryish way of saying Salisbury Steak with cheese and some other toppings instead of gravy which is the way school cafeterias served it. Should have left the gravy....The Steak was dry, tough, tasteless, and my stomach refused to digest even half of it. I cut through the Styrofoam trying to saw through it. The potatoes were chewy, and the green beans were dry. I'm hoping my wife stops asking for this place because this is the only restaurant that makes me long for the days of my elementary school cafeteria. read more

We decided to hop into Cotton Patch for dinner it's been a while since our last visit, and it still looks pretty much the same. A little dated in appearance, but familiar and welcoming. We were greeted and seated immediately, our server was prompt, friendly, and helpful throughout the meal. To start, they brought out warm bread rolls, which is always a nice touch. I had the lemon-crusted salmon, which was about 6 ounces--just the right portion for me. It came with a side salad and broccoli, both fresh and well-prepared. My wife chose the Wednesday daily special: meatloaf, with green beans and squash. Their meatloaf has been a go-to for us, and once again, it didn't disappoint. Good meatloaf is hard to find, and they do it right. This is a solid local spot with comforting meals and very reasonable prices. The place was nice and clean. Our waitress was a bit slow but was very nice. The food was decent but nothing to rave over. The Mac and cheese lack cheese, it was very loose and the pork chop was dry. The chicken wings were good but when asked for more sauce on the wings they said it wasn't an option- not very accommodating. This place is just OK nothing more. read more

Of the cotton patch cafe's in the area, this is usually the one we will drive slightly out of our way for. Staff has always been on top of things, and if something did mishap and come out wrong from the kitchen, they are right on top of it to fix it. Plus, they are pretty giving on the bread side. I wish I could remember his name but when my husband takes the kids he always has the same server, and he remembers their usual orders. (Though I've never had him when I'm tagging along!!!) Food is pretty standard, and what you would expect out of a cotton patch. We really haven't had any major issues coming here! At worst we've had a forgot no gravy on one of the kids mashed potatoes, but that's an easy slip up and fix. Plus, bonus, its near by plenty of shopping centers so, it makes for a great eat before you grocery shop option. read more

The food was very good. We had lunch there today 8/25. I had the Chicken Fried Steak and my wife had the Chicken Fried Chicken. The PROBLEM WAS THE FILTH.. There were more dirty tables than there were tables with customers. The hostess cleared a table for us to sit at and our menus were sticking to the tables. I never saw a bus boy or anyone other than our waitress pick up a few items here and there while walking to the back. The mens restroom rivaled that of a 2nd class gas station. AS much as we enjoyed the taste of the food, I can only imagine the disregard for cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and elsewhere. There are no plans to return to this location any time soon. read more

Had transaction canceled thru call center on error of city. REALLY A CALL CENTER!!! Had to pay up front at store. My 1st payment has to go thru their channels before heading to bank. It put me over drawn and I am told it will be 5 days before money given back. Email sent to mgr already at resturant on Saturday but has to wait til Monday and report back to call center and who knows from there what will happen next. Love this place. Our waiter was Ian great customer service! We tried the chicken fried bacon for an appetizer which I was pretty skeptical about at first.... Ian helped us decide on that but I will say that stuff was BOMB they serve it with gravy and ranch I dipped mine in the gravy. Omg it was so tasty. I got steak with shrimp a loaded mashed potato and a house salad very satisfied. Was not disappointed baked potato was cooked perfectly steak I got medium well , shrimp I got grilled so tasty not cooked too much. The service and accuracy of this restaurant gets 0 zero stars. My family ordered dinner online last night and spent over $75 for 4 messed up meals. Not to forget to mention we were told 45 mins for pick up and we sat there another 30 waiting on it. My mom watched the girl bag the food up, hand it to my mom then lie to my moms face that she put the 2 extra items in the bag when asked. She Lied about it. Then we looked at our menus, took a few minutes deciding what we wanted to eat, then closed our menus and waited...and waited...and waited. Apparently, there was no staff assigned to our section of the restaurant, so after several minutes, we finally gave up. We walked past the staff at the front, made eye contact with staff, shrugged with wide eyes & no one cared, so we walked out. Yummy-ness factor seems to be decreasing. Today, the chicken and dumplings were in a tasteless, watery broth. In the past, the broth was thicker, more similar to gravy and much more flavorful. I had the chicken fried steak about a week ago and it, too, was not as flavorful as its been in the past. The crust was lacking crunch and wilted right off the steak, which also seemed poorer in quality than it was in the past. Cotton Patch used to be my go to place. It was economical, friendly and the food was great. The prices have gone up, The portions are much smaller, almost like a childs portion. I had Flounder filet at $16.99 I got two small pieces of flounder over rice. Servers at Cotton Patch are always friendly, and they work very hard .. They used to have coupons buy one get one, they stopped those now they don't even have discounted coupons which they also had at one time. Sorry to see you go Cotton Patch but I will not be coming by for lunch or dinner much anymore. read more

We've ordered carry-out twice during the pandemic restrictions and have been very satisfied with the service and food quality. When curbside was new, they had a line of cars drive past their main entrance, but they've now labeled 10 parking spaces and included a phone number on their online confirmation to call when you arrive to pick-up your order. An employee (wearing a mask and gloves) then brings your order to your car. A couple of friends and I stopped here for lunch, 3/20/25. All three of us had the salmon dinner with two sides. The salmon was good yet slightly under cooked. They must have added seasoning part way through the cooking time as the flavor was not throughout the entire entre. Sweet potato was good add the cinnamon butter for the finale touch. Server (was possibly Evan) was on top of the drinks being kept full. I drink hot water and usually the server will deliver one cup then not return to keep it full. I guess they do not know what to do with a hot water drink. The other two drinks were attended to often. The food was good just a normal cafe type of quality. We had sweet potatoes, steamed broccoli, now the green beans had a bit of spiciness to them. Two out of three were clean plate members so I'd say it is ok.
