Horrible service!!! The hostess is about as RUDE as they get. We came in and scoped the place out to see if there was seating out on the deck as we only wanted a beer to watch the sun go down. Walked back to the front desk only to be scolded like we're children. Plenty of great spots to spend your money. Don't waist your time here. What a view! We were tourists traveling through and wanting somewhere with a great view of the lake. FOUND! The service was 10/10 and reminded me of the great service from my small hometown that is lacking in Phoenix. Amazing prices for a guest from the metropolis and we loved the seasoned fries. First off let me say that I read the reviews to this place before going. I couldn't help but notice a couple of bad reviews saying rude staff and unclean restrooms. This was not the case at all. In fact, the staff were all incredibly friendly. Our waiter was Matt (who was also the bartender) he was very friendly and helpful when it came to our needs. He had himself a very busy night and still managed to get around to check on us. Our view from our table was amazing. You can see it from my photos. Unfortunately it was too cold for us to sit outside, but it was still a beautiful establishment, and we were seated right next to the fireplace which was nice and toasty, and provided an excellent vibe. My husband and I both got a burger, and both were incredible. They came with a toasted bun which was done perfectly! I hate a plain Jane bun. We got a side of their Buffalo sauce (which is made in house) as a dipping sauce for our fries. I highly recommend doing this if you enjoy Buffalo sauce. Now, when it comes to the disgruntled person who posted about their dirty facilities. As you can see from the pictures, their restrooms are quite clean, and designed very nicely. They looked clean and smelt clean. The only reason I gave this place four stars vs. five is because we also ordered the pretzel with Beer cheese, and I was not a fan of the beer cheese. It tasted as if it had a hint of broccoli in it. Call me crazy, but that's how it tasted. Other than that, everything was spectacular. I would recommend this place to anyone staying in Big Fork, and anyone who isn't staying in Big Fork. If you're looking for a brewery with great vibes and food, and you're staying in one of the surrounding areas, Flathead Lake Brewing Co. is a must try! read more

Place was ok, I ordered carne asada tacos, but they tasted like Greek gyros w Tzatziki dip. The drink I ordered wasn't great either. The cider drink I'd just avoid. So we are touring around Montana on a guys trip. We ventured up to Flathead lake and decided to stop in for appetizer before we headed off for an Easter brunch. We ordered the salmon dip, beer battered onion rings, and a dozen wings. Salmon dip was good, I expected better. The salmon flavor was the main focus but I wanted some spices. Beer battered onion rings are hard to screw up and these were really good. The wings were cooked perfectly, skin crispy and basically dissolves in your mouth. Waitress was a little slow and didn't seem like she wanted to be working. So this review would be 3 stars but for the million dollar view! read more

Let's start with the good: Nice view and atmosphere. Nice people working there. Good service. Huge portions. Now the not so good: The salmon salad was awful. The salmon was so overcooked it was hard. I was surprised the cooks would serve it, it was so hard. The dressing had no flavor. It was a bed of lettuce for $21. Hard pass. And the bathroom was filthy. This is where the employees wash their hands. So if they don't care about the bathroom, what does the kitchen look like? So I probably won't go there again for food but maybe for a beer at the bar. My family loved their burgers so maybe it was just my salad. I can't get over the bathroom or the fact the cooks would serve a hockey puck as it screams apathy to me which concerns me to eat there. read more

Great beer, food was definitely good. Stumbled on to it on way back from Glacier. I yelped for bison burger (they did not have it after we got there, apparently it is a seasonal special ). This after asking for a recommendation from the bartender who replied with obvious annoyance that 'they are all good for different reasons'.... alrighty then. I'll just have a draft beer. The other dish ordered is the blackened shrimp tacos.....as others have said, the small shrimp are NOT blackened. They do taste reasonably good. Asked the waiter about this, he said 'yeah....that's just how they always come out'......alrighty again. Waiter checked back on us exactly 2x. Not good. All in all, a thoroughly average experience. Review is for bar area only. As you'd expect from a brewery, they had an excellent selection of beers (their own) on tap. The order board included both the APV and the IBU, which was helpful in determining what style of beer you felt in the mood to have. The cocktails were super inventive riffs on local flavors as well. Finally, the Bart ending staff were as nice as can be and helpful while we were ordering. Loved our experience and the view of Flathead Lake from the bar can't be beat. read more

Another Growler added to my collection, another stamp in our "Beer Passport Book" during our continuing tour of all the breweries in Montana. View is unbelievable from their lower deck with fire pits if needed to stay warm. We were in a hurry on our way to glacier so only stopped in for a beer and growler to go. The flight we had was amazing. Great variety of beers on tap. Didn't eat anything however, the food we saw look on par with top brewery restaurants we have visited in the past. Food was just meh, we had the BLT. The ciabatta should be toasted or something, bread couldn't hold its form with the moisture in the avocado and tomato and fell apart. Fries are amazing! The IPAs were really good. View makes up for the lackluster food but even that is marred by the houses below. Service was decent but not very personable. Incredibly loud spot. The Restaurant is in a great location--nice view of the lake. The beer was flavorful and served at the perfect temp. Unfortunately, the limited menu was very pedestrian. The food was edible, but uninspired. There are better, more flavorful options. Or, lower cost options with similar quality of food. We would not stop there again for a meal. read more
