I have had the absolute worst experience with Flat Rate that anyone could possibly have. I severely regret the decision to hire them Not only were they 8 days late with my delivery - but they completely stopped communicating. No calls, no updates about a delay, no messages. As my delivery day grew closer - I started calling them, they would put me on hold and then hang up. no one ever called back. I had to cancel a business trip (incurred costs on airfare + hotel) in order to be at the house to receive my belongings. They also charged me an extra 2500 the day they came to pick up my things. I had literally no choice but to pay. When they finally did deliver - they didn't unpack me. I had paid for the packing and unpacking service - and I ended up having to hire people to unpack me. I literally didn't get the service I paid an extra 2000 for. Do NOT use this company! Moving is one of the most stressful things a person can do, and this company made it 10x more stressful. read more

I would give 0 but that isn't an option so you get 1 star for the nice men who helped to pack our initial load into the truck. It has been a living hell dealing with these movers. Do not use at all. We originally were referred to FlatRate by a friend. We did the initial assessment and it took about 12 try's to get the inventory correct. Their estimate was close to $3500 more than their competitors but they told me it was white glove service and that was why. At this point, there were very few reviews so I had to trust this premium service. We also were keen on a guaranteed delivery date. They rearranged things and got us on a truck leaving August 2nd, with pick up for August 1st. It seemed rushed but again, that fit with our schedule so we took it and packed quickly. The movers came and they weren't from FlatRate but hired contractors which contradicted the white glove service but they were really kind so we let it slide. Prior to the pick up, we were asked to pay the $6400 in full for a 1 bedroom + loft apartment pick up. Again pricey, but it seems legit. The movers didn't have any of the right boxes for the TV etc so we were really worried but since drop off was guaranteed in a few days, we figured it would never sit in storage and we'd be safe. We then raced to Virginia to wait for our goods... Day after day, we heard nothing. We kept calling and told it hadn't left California yet (after 12 days). This was not what we contracted for and started to get worried. Finally, we were told to stay home on the 18th as the movers were en route. They were a week late but at least we were finally getting our stuff. Well, no one shows up and we get 0 calls. No emails. Nothing. We reached out to everyone all weekend. Finally Sunday night we're told they're on their way again. What!?! How'd you get so lost for over 2 days? Then nothing. Again. By Monday morning we had enough. Not only was the guaranteed delivery window long gone, no one was answering our calls. We filed a police report and let FlatRate know we did such. We then get a very nasty call from their VP of Long Distance who screamed at me for over 10 mins telling me how awful I am for getting the police involved. But ironically, the second the police show up - so does our stuff. Weird how that works. They start unloading our stuff and I realize right away this isn't good. We had purchased brand new furniture from Living Spaces that was delivered to meet the moving truck. We inspected thoroughly before it was loaded and all good. Turns out FlatRate found a way to utterly destroy $15,000 worth of brand new furniture (we have receipts). I mean, I just broke out in tears. They even destroyed our infant daughters crib into 7 pieces. How is that even possible unless it was hit by a truck? All the furniture we purchased for our house destroyed. I've never seen anything like it. The movers felt awful and even told us they were contracted by FlatRate and will never work for them again because this is the third drop off in a row where the contract was breached and the goods were destroyed when they were given them. We're now in arbitration hell. The claim FlatRate processed for all the damage (including our brand new hardwood floors, broken light fixtures etc.) was $460. Our credit card company believes they were fraudulent but can't give us a refund of the $6400. FlatRate is useless so we've formally reported them to FMCSA and we're attempting to go through the arbitration process. Moral of this story - don't ever use them. Ever. The person in charge of delivery was arrogant, aggressive, condescending and basically treated me like garbage. Fairly disappointing experience. A representative was quick to give me a quote after I completed an online RFP but after that it was EXTREMELY difficult to get anyone to answer my follow-up questions in the weeks leading up to my move. Had to repeatedly send emails and then resort to calling the office to complain that no one was answering. Emails from customers should be answered within 24 hours, or at very most 48, especially for arrangements such as cross-country moves. Was never able to create an online account to self-manage/self-view details. For the price I was paying, the responsiveness and customer service could have been a LOT better. And then, claiming "COVID protocols," furniture that was disassembled at origin was not reassembled as destination and neither were empty boxes taken away. COVID doesn't live on surfaces, y'all. My items were damaged in the move and customer service has been incredibly rude and unhelpful! The foreman acknowledged that the damage was due to the movers' careless error and, unprompted, told me that I would be compensated in full. This was a complete lie and over a month later, I am still fighting for reasonable payment. Additionally, I told the company that my elevator was small and FlatRate charged the walk-up fee of $450 even though everything except one dresser fit in the elevator. read more

If I could leave zero stars, I would. This company is a complete SCAM. We paid to have our items packed and shipped from CA to RI. We had a long video interview and went over each and every item. We identified the items that were fragile, expensive, heirlooms, and equipment that all required special packing. They informed us they would wrap and crate these items. These items, such as my $6,000 onyx table and numerous pieces of expensive scientific equipment, were packed like garbage. The tables were wrapped in a blanket and then sandwiched into a piece of cardboard with duct tape. These marble tables cracked in half and are unable to be repaired (only replaced). $12,000 tables are now garbage. The sensitive scientific equipment was put into a box without any bubble tape or wrapping packed amongst other random items like text books. Over $20,000 worth of damage and after a lot of heartache and headache they are giving us $500. We requested a refund on the service they failed to provide and they have ignored us. We appealed the claim response of $500 and they ignored us, let the clock run out, and 3 months later reply and say the claim was closed. This company is a piece of crap. Better you pack your own items and drag them to the new destination than to spend $7000 on this company and lose all of your items. Disgraceful! And they haven't heard the end of it yet from me. This mover damaged my household goods and floors. We moved from San Francisco to DC. The move was handled by the Bronx franchise They lost in court and refused to pay the judgement. The court had to issue a bench warrant for Mr. Giampietro, the chief operating officer with the US Marshal. It has been almost 2 years trying to get resolution on the damage. When I searched after the fact I see Mr. Giampietro and Flatrate have been sued before. I would recommend against using this mover. read more

I'm in the process of researching moving companies and comparing rates for a cross country move. Like most individuals, I had a number of questions to ask regarding their flat rate moving system's services. I filled out my information as requested online and received a call from the company shortly thereafter. The woman I spoke to seemed completely disinterested in what I had to say (you called me lady!) and indifferent about the company in general. After the third question, I could tell she was getting frustrated and without any notice just hung up on me mid-sentence! If you don't even have 10 minutes to answer a potential client's question, I can't imagine what the move would be like. These guys were great. I got a couple of recommendations from friends who had made a cross-country move (both of theirs was SF to NYC, mine DC to SF), so I only price shopped a little. FlatRate Moving was on par with the other services I found, and I'm so happy I went with them. I had excellent customer service the whole time -- Cheryl was very patient with my endless questions and holding off until the last minute to book! The guys ended up being great. There were several guys, all very nice, professional and efficient. They navigated a 3 story walkup with no problems and moved my one-bedroom apartment seamlessly -- they even wrapped up a mirror, some lamps and a few other odds and ends for me. I'm leaving a review for Flat Rate because when I relocated yelp reviews really weighted my decision. I found Flat Rate to be a well oiled company and the Silver Spring representative was responsive and helpful. My stuff arrived as promised with only 3-4 broken items. When setting up the reservation, the SS representative was very helpful with estimating cost/weight/needs and continued to work with me as things changed. We chose to store our things with Flat Rate until we had an address in the new location. While the storage was expensive it was helpful to not worry about where our stuff was. I believe it was stored in Maryland. Pickup: not pleasant. The team of movers who came to our apartment in DC were shady and rude. They took 5+ hours to get the job done and messed around. I was home alone and they made me a bit uncomfortable as I was really pressured for a cash tip- which I provided them then they continued to tell me it was not enough. Everything they did was about saving me money so I could give them cash and I was already paying 1/2 the moving cost that day and didn't want to be shady. I cried and was slightly scared when they left. Had my husband or another person been there they probably wouldn't have treated me in such a way. Storage: $180 every 30-days. Hits your cc. Delivery: the new location coordinator called a day before with the timeframe and was very nice and clear. The movers called on the assigned day and loaded our stuff in within 1-2 hours. They were nice, quick, helpful - total opposite of the DC team. Very enjoyable experience and nice. The movers were helpful with the process of dealing with broken items. Conclusion: I sent photos of the broken items to Flat Rate and we are still awaiting response regarding replacement or refund. It's been a week or so. The move was costly but less than some. They are terrible. There quotes are way off, when they show up on move day nothing was calculated correctly and you pay the extra fees or you are screwed because they remind you that you loose 50% of your money. Each time I called for updated info on my move they are rude and arrogant, no one attempts to apologize for anything all they do is tell you that you signed there bullshit contract that says they can do whatever and take as long as they freekin want to deliver your stuff. Unbelievable - I just read some of the previous reviews and it sounds like this office goes into hissyfits and hangs up on a number their customers! Good to know we weren't the only ones who experienced this. We should've read these reviews before hiring these awful people. My husband and I have used flat rate 3 prior times in NY and service was great. However, this 4th time was in the DC location and wow. We were charged 50% more than the moves we have done with Flat Rate in NY. It was an easy 1-bedroom (700 sq ft) move, without much packing needed to be done. They sent 4 guys over, whom were caught taking smoke breaks and eating breaks. Two of our items were damaged, one of which is my mid-modern century 6 drawer dresser. When we called Cheryl or Laurent ("the manager"), and when they actually picked up the phone, we were shocked at how we were treated. It was a waste of time to speak with Cheryl. With Laurent, we called back the second day, and he had hung up on us after we explained our case. I guess Flat Rate in DC does not meet the same standards as Flat Rate in NY. We wish we knew before we selected these unprofessional movers. PS: there is no transparency with how they price your move, once they give you a 1st quote, and you try to knock some items off the list, the quote only goes down by a few bucks; they know you are hooked since your big move date is fast approaching. read more

My things arrived on time and there were no damages, no wall scratches, and everything was wrapped very well. The movers were timely, professional and easy to deal with. This company does not love up to its name. I gave it one star because the people who actually carry the boxes are nice. Here is the laundry list of dishonest things they did: 1. They asked for an itemized list of things that I wanted to store and move and gave me a quote on the move and the storage. Then, they charged be DOUBLE for the move AND for the monthly storage. 2. They were inconsistent on the invoices and mysteriously lost my email address halfway through the time I had my things in storage. 3. When I had them move the things (we finally decided to donate them to a family instead of paying through the nose every month), they said they would move the things within the month and would give 24 hours notice. They did NOT move the things within the month and finally I called and they said the things would be there the following day. 4. They did not call the following day OR the day after that. 5. The next day I called them and they said it would be there between 6 and 8pm THAT DAY and told me to make sure that I had $340 in cash to give them upon delivery. I freaked out because the contract clearly stated that it was to go to a DONATION location (a family) and they shuffled things around and I paid over the phone. 6. The things arrived at the donation house at 11:30pm on a week day and the delivery people did not call them by their names, but by mine. They had clearly not been informed of what was going on. 7. The delivery people were loud (in a neighborhood in the middle of the night) and did not help assemble anything. 8. The furniture arrived with a bunch of crap that wasn't mine and the guys had the nerve to ask for a tip. So... that said, make your own (informed) decision, but don't be fooled by the pleasant, well-spoken people that work the phones and make promises at Flat Rate Moving & Storage. read more

Don't use this company! They charged my debit card $200 as a deposit 5 days before the move. They don't accept credit card and want you to pay cash or cashier's check (unless you let them know 3 days in advance). They sent 4 guys to perform a move for a 1-bedroom apartment (last time I moved 2 guys came and it was all done smoothly in 30 minutes). They arrived 30 minutes early -- I still had to take care of few loose strings. 2 of the movers were extremely unprofessional, they were rushing, all talking to me at the same time, making a fuss for every little thing. They did not even know how to cut tape with their hands, they would tape the boxes and look for scissors. The one in charge looked like he was on crack, sniffling, talking 100 miles an hour, about a million things at the same time. I could not follow or understand what they were saying. The person in charge was calling his company constantly (he talked to them more than he talked to me), changing the rates and asking me to sign papers without talking to me about it or giving me a chance to read anything. I politely asked them if we could slow down and load the truck first and then we can do the paperwork but they refused. I signed the authorisation to load the truck, but the person in charge called the company again to say I did not sign something else (still unaware of what that was). I was constantly being put on the phone by the movers to talk to the company. The company was calling me constantly on my cellphone to tell me that they cant do their job, all this while I was trying to supervise the move. I finally talked to Cheryl who I dealt with to book the move. She was very nice and professional, and I explained the situation. Turns out that the manager, who was the most unprofessional, was listening to the conversation (without my knowledge) and informed me that he heard everything and that he is asking his guys to return my boxes and they are leaving. When I asked why he said it's because I cancelled the move. I said I did not cancel the move, he then said " yes you did, and you are responsible for all the charges ($700) and I will sue you" and he hung up on me. I've had to cancel both my credit cards so they cannot charge anything to me and now i have a day to look for another company. What a terrible experience. Moving is stressful as it is, paying movers to get help and then ending up being treating like this is really horrible. read more

The FlatRate movers in California who packed up our furniture and fragile items were excellent. The movers who delivered our boxes to the Maryland worked hard too. The Relocation Consultant, Audrey, was unfailingly patient with requests to add or remove items in the original contract and returned every call and email promptly. However, her manager, Mr. Ron, despite multiple attempts to contact him, did not return my calls about a missing box. If he reads this review, perhaps he will treat future customers better? Stay away from this company without regard for customer satisfaction. I received a call back from a woman working for this company after I requested a quote. From the beginning she was very rude, abrasive and aggressive. This stemmed from the fact that she assumed I knew everything there is to know about the moving business. When I didn't know certain things or I asked questions she thought that were obvious, the snarky and rude comments would ensue. First, she asked me whether I thought I had many pieces of furniture to move, I responded not many since I live in a 2 bedroom apartment by myself. After I gave her the exact inventory she became irate because she thought this was more than I had originally stated. Second, she asked me how many boxes I needed for the move. I asked her the dimensions of the boxes, and what would be appropriate for books, clothing, kitchenware etc. She became pissed off since I didn't know the exact dimensions and that I didn't know that books should be stored in a medium box. When I asked her whether they charged for mileage between places, whether there are more than 1 flight of stairs for carrying boxes, or for distance between the truck and the house itself, she basically laughed at my face. I asked her this because 2 other companies I had talked to charged for these things. Finally, when I asked her whether the rate she quoted would be adjusted depending on the actual amount of boxes and moving that they would have to do, she blew her top. By this time I was also very upset and called her out on her very rude service. She immediately cut me off, said she did not want my business and hung up on me. I called back to try to speak to her manager, a man answered this time but also hung up on me when I explained the problem. DISCLAIMER: I haven't actually used Flatrate Moving to move -- My review is based on my pre-move experience/phone calls with Flatrate. I've now spoken with Cheryl on the phone twice about an upcoming move; I'm giving 2 stars because the first conversation was very helpful and she spent a decent amount of time talking with me about how Flatrate worked, different options, what things I needed to think about, etc. However, I would NOT recommend Flatrate because in the most recent conversation (yesterday), I was essentially told that it wasn't worth their time to schedule an in-home estimate if I was even considering moving using Penske/U-Haul/Budget rental trucks. I get it; rental trucks tend to be a lot cheaper than professional movers. HOWEVER, as I explained numerous times over the phone, my new employer is not covering any of my moving costs, I will be moving a 3 bedroom home across the country, and I wanted to get the range in moving cost estimates from a number of companies including the DIY option. I made it clear that I cannot give a budget estimate at this exact moment, that I would prefer to wait until I get several estimates from professional companies that include the full pack/partial pack/no pack options in addition to the estimate of the Penske truck, materials, and gas, because there will be a number at which the cost of me doing everything is not worth the difference between professional movers doing some (or all) of the packing/moving. She told me that it wouldn't make sense or be worth it to them to send someone out until I was sure I would use professional movers -- but she could give me an estimate based off the estimate that another company provided since Flatrate uses inventory/volume as opposed to weight. Overall, I thought that I'd found a really great company to work with on my move, but after yesterday's experience I am not even going to call them back. I don't appreciate being told that exploring my options for the range of options means that it's not worth it to them. I've found half a dozen other businesses - with great reviews on Angie's List and here on Yelp - who were very happy to schedule in-home estimates as early as this afternoon. read more

Whatever you do, do NOT use this company!!!!!!!!!!!! They are highly unprofessional. 1. Moving seemed to take longer than expected. Flatrate sent many more movers to aid in the job than another company with a previous move of a similar size. Normally this wouldn't be a problem, but the movers with this company made it very clear, in a slightly intimidating way, that they "work for tips." So, more movers sent to your home, working more slowly, means a larger tip coming from your pocket since you must tip each mover. I never felt entirely comfortable with the movers or with their level of professionalism. 2. Many of the boxes were not clearly labeled when the movers packed them (ever try opening 40 boxes all labeled "Kitchen" the night you move in? In my experience other professional movers do a better job of labeling the boxes more clearly to indicate the contents, ie. "Kitchen - plates & utensils." Seems to be pretty basic stuff!...). 3. We had numerous items go MISSING from our move!!!! To add insult to injury, the company would not honor their standard "insurance" and was not professional in our handling of the claim. In fact, our claim was rejected outright since we could not "prove" that items had gone missing. When we followed up, the staff of Flatrate Moving was nasty and seemed to have the attitude that "the customer is always wrong." I was blamed, being told "how could it have gone missing? You should have seen that it was missing!" They even asked "why should we believe that you wouldn't just make this up." (Because I have nothing else better to do, right?) Ummm, okay, I pay you several THOUSAND dollars to have you pack items and ensure they arrive to my home safely. Some don't arrive and it's my responsibility to PROVE to YOU exactly what happened to them? How about YOU offer ME an explanation and an apology? One might think it's entirely possible to imagine a scenario where things go missing from a move. While I would not accuse anyone of anything, it's a moving company's responsibility to do everything in their power to keep your items safe, or at the very least, honor the insurance claim that is on the contract you both sign. In my experience, Flatrate Moving could not keep my items safe, nor did it honor my claim (which was for a miniscule dollar amount, I might add). Use at your own risk. read more

Two weeks ago I called FlatRate moving for a local move in DC - was truly interested in hiring them because from what their website says it seems to be careful handling and great servicing for a small or large move. Spoke with Cheryl, an agent to "help me get a quote". Rudest woman I have ever spoken to. Would not even give me a quote because I was not up to the standards of what they were looking for. I believe the quote was "I'm not going to disrespect myself on quoting your pricing for such a small project - I would never send my guys out to do small work like that". Didn't know a moving company was above any sort of moving. Shame on you for treating a prospect like that. Will not only not recommend this company but will ensure that no one I knows contacts them. My wife contracted with Flat Rate Moving out of Rockville, MD to move my son from Washington, DC to Denver. My wife was handling the move herself to help my son. Four men from the company started the move by demanding a 15% tip based on the cost of the move = $600, which was not part of the bid. Cash only, no credit card, which my wife paid. When his belongings arrived in Denver, most of the big ticket items we damaged. The movers did not remove the legs (unscrew) from the sofa before packing and moving. They broke the frame of the sofa when they broke off the sofa leg, so Crate & Barrel says it cannot be repaired. They broke boxes of dishes, a lamp, damaged the top and back of the dresser, damaged the top of the dining table and scratched every chair with the dining set. All of the furnishings were a year old or less. We provided the receipts for the damaged items of $6,327 plus the $600 tip we paid presumably for good service. Their offer is to pay us $.60 per pound for the move ($234). They offer an option to insure at a cost of $40 per $1,000 of property value. Who assumes they will do this much damage? I would suggest if you are reading this, to avoid this company. Pay more for a reputable company and avoid the aggravation and expense to replace damaged and broken items.. read more

I'm bumping the rating up because they 100% refunded me on the broken furniture. I'd still be wary about the moving crew coming out of DC. I'd say be more stern with them, they wrap your furniture a bit too tight which could cause warping in the wood and destroy your furniture. What an incredible moving company, from start to finish. Cheryl worked with me through a few bumps to schedule my pickup, and was so helpful the whole way through. The guys who loaded the truck and moved my furniture into my six-floor walkup in Manhattan were just unbelievable - there were a few pieces I had written off as not making it but they went above and beyond to get those pieces into my apartment- and they had smiles on their faces the entire time! Hands down the best moving service I've ever used and the next time I move I'll certainly be using FlatRate. read more

I was really nervous about using this company based on the reviews... but boy was I wrong. They showed up at 9 AM as quoted. 6 men showed up to do the full service move (pack, move and unpack). They were professional and friendly. It took them two hours to pack up and move-out a 2 bedroom house (with 2 kids we have lots of stuff!) with no damage to anything. The move-in was even faster. They unpacked all the boxes, discarded the trash, etc. We did pay a lot for the move, granted, but since everything was covered ahead of time there was no extra charge. I just over estimated everything and it seemed to work perfectly! Again, they were great. Cheryl was friendly with me and always answered me emails and calls when I had questions. James (the moving manager on the day) was very friendly and professional. I couldn't be happier with the move. read more

Not recommended. They arrived with the "flat rate" number of movers and then called in two more, which doubled the price. They used profanity in front if my child, and would call me by yelling "hello" repeatedly instead of something more courteous like "excuse me." When we got to our new home, I noticed that one of my planters was missing. They kept saying " it's in the truck" and "let me check" and finally, "we dropped it at the first place and it broke so we hid it under a tree." They kept the doors open constantly, even after my dog got out and I asked them to close the doors behind them. They also told me they wouldn't be able to fit my couch in my new place, but I insisted we try, and they were able to do it with little problem. Even though I ordered and paid for lunch for them, they would still disappear into their truck for 30 minutes or more at a time. When we got ready to leave the first house, I had to go back and pack up half the kitchen bc they had missed it. They also refused to pack up bathrooms Glassware was packed in an ice bucket (which broke the glasses), glasses were packed with food processor, picture frames were packed with fine china. Many things broke. Gentle Giant was just as expensive and much better. GG is upfront about the cost and they are professional packers - nothing broke. I will use GG in the future, but I will never again go with flat rate. read more

LONG DISTANCE MOVE EXPERIENCE::::: these guys were great, showed up 15 minutes early to set up and greeted me very kindly. i was afraid of the whole moving deal because i have never done it and i have heard so many stories of people getting ripped off. i loved flatrate. i told them what i wanted to move, and they gave me an estimate and i was so happy when on move day thats all i had to pay. the guys wrapped everything, and i mean EVERYTHING! if it was not in a box it was in a blanket and bubble wrap. all my things were going to california and i am from maryland. Cheryl the dispatcher explained in detail everything that would happen and how my items would be taken care of going from maryland to california. she said it is a long distance move, and that they would not be there on the offload but it would be another branch of flatrate. well i got my receiving window, and low and behold everything arrived un harmed and with in good time. I hired FlatRate for a local move from a 2 bedroom apartment. They sent out 4 guys and they did a great job! We have some pretty heavy furniture and they got everything loaded and unloaded (and perfectly in tact) in just a few hours. They worked hard to be sure that we were happy with the condition of our belonging and the placement in our new house. The whole team was friendly, professional and great workers! After months of communication with this company on the day of the move they suddenly had "changed their system" and from the original $719 quote they bumped it up to $1457. Flatrate? Not so much. The manager didn't talk to me. The lady over the phone didn't seem to care wether I wanted to keep my business there or not. They did not honor their rate, I wrote them an email explaining how long it took me to save the money from the original quote and wanted to see if they could do actual business even if it costed me $300 more I would have done it but at twice the price of the original rate and not wanting to honor the quote or even negotiate a new one? No thanks. I ended up immediately going with another company that is still about $200 cheaper than the "Flatrate" disgrace. read more

We used FlatRate for our move from DC back to California, and all of our belongings were apparently destroyed when the truck caught fire in Alabama. Since then, they have been horrible. They will not let us see our things. We have begged and pleaded and have flown to the east coast twice, and they will not provide us access. Today, they sent us the same grainy, indecipherable photos of burned items sitting in a warehouse in New Jersey that they provided two weeks ago, but they won't let us see our belongings. At this point, we are caught up in a moving nightmare, and all of our irreplaceable items are gone. We had previously used FlatRate a few years ago, when we moved from California to DC. It seems silly to say that we would not use them again, because, thanks to them, we no longer have anything to move. read more

STAY FAR AWAY from this company. I recently had the unpleasant experience of using this company. They were very unprofessional when they came to move me from my apartment. First, they were late and when they sent me the quote I did not read the itemised list. They left off some of the items I gave them and charged me extra. I took off times on a bedroom off my list and they tried to say a few boxes took up more space then the bedroom. I tried calling an emailing foe my delivery date with no response. One day I got a call a 4:30 pm said they wanted to deliver my goods at 8:00 pm and was irate because my storage was not opened 24 hours. The boxes were damaged and the movers just threw all my items in the storage without any arrangement, they had small items in the back and big times up front. NEVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE A RIP OFF. read more

This was the worst experience with a mover that my wife and I have ever had. The first thing they said on the morning of the move was, "I hope you are giving us a big tip". What? They scratched our wood living room floor very deeply in 5 places. They marked it down on the receipt, and then told their bosses that they hadn't scratched the floor and that my wife made them sign it! Well the company was so rude to my wife saying she was lying about the floor and then agreed to pay for less then half the cost of repairing the damage. And now we realize that we are missing a box with irreplaceable contents. Do not use them, period. read more
