This place is good vibes all around! You feel welcomed, listened to, and fabulous-looking by the end of your appointment. (Oh and did I mention they offer wine there as well?) I highly recommend Alyssa. She's super sweet and really engaged with me on discussing what would be best for my hair. I never truly have a precise idea on what I want when I get to a salon, just general ideas on what I want to achieve and avoid with a look. She was able to take those starting points and suggest a direction to take from there. I have a square jawline that I prefer softened, but I also want bangs to cut down on a bit of forehead. It's always a bit challenging to get someone who can balance the two aspects and most of them either tell me I shouldn't have bangs at all or they give me bangs that are a bit too short and just make me look more square. But Alyssa was able to configure a style that suits me perfectly. My best friend and I had called in day of for a same day/same time appointment and both LOVED our results. Sometimes I get a haircut and like it the day it's done because of the novelty, but then realize I don't like it so much a few days later. But as late as this review is, I can say I've been pleased with it every day since it was cut. Can't wait to come again! I went for my 1st time to this salon, saw Blaine. He was so welcoming and kind throughout the service. I had a year old balayage. I told him I didn't want to get rid of it but I did want to lower the maintenance needed for it, since I'm a new mommy. He understood me completely. Well I was so hopeful, I've had a great hair cut from here before but this time was not even close. I asked for mid neck to keep the length I had grown out but it was cut to my chin. It's so much shorter and on top of that there are chunks left out that weren't cut near my face as well as being much shorter in the front than the back. read more

Went to Flaunt on a whim, having not had a cut since moving to Long Beach. I made a same-day appointment with Ross. From entering the shop, to walking out with a lighter head- the whole experience was top tier. I was offered a lovely selection of beverages upon my entrance. I am new to the area and was looking for a new hairdresser. When I got there I was trying to find out from the receptionist which hairdresser would be the best for me at least to start of she wasn't able to give any information about the hairdresser at the salon. She told me once I found out with who do I want to book to give them a call. When I told her that I have no friends LB she replied with the same information. I came here today for a simple trim and some front layers, but after the cut my hair looked a little uneven. There is one piece that is much longer than the rest of my hair, and I felt that the stylist rushed through the appointment. The hair trim, wash, and style only took 26 minutes and I paid $80 plus tip. I was also told on the phone that it would only cost $70, so I'm not sure where the other $10 came from. I had high hopes as this salon got great reviews, but I'm disappointed and feel I wasted my money :( read more
