I did move the scoop to the side so it wouldn't melt as fast and I can taste the velvety ice cream on its own. Since it was the holidays, I could not resist getting a caramel apple cider which was warming without being overly sweet. With outdoor seating outside, would love to come back during the summer for leisurely brunch.

There's a reason gloves, or some other type of barrier between hand and food, are required. If you spend less than $80, keep an eye on the staff making your food or only get drinks, and you sit outside, this is a pretty stop through town. But based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend this place, and will not return.

1st time here and first time to try a Quesabirria and the Birria soup - fantastic! I first ordered a Quesabirria and tacos to eat there and then found out they also sell the Birria soup as a "side" to go - basically a large container. I ordered ANOTHER Quesabirria and the side of Birria to go which I have enjoyed over two lunches since then (it's a very generous portion and cost $14 plus tax). The Birria comes with lime, onion, cylantro and tortillas on the side. I highlly recommend trying this place, also ask what is not on the menu, after asking they told of at least 5 things not listed and they all sound great! read more

Flavias is awesome. Food isn't always consistent and not much vegetarian alternatives. HOWEVER, the owner is always welcoming to us , as well as her son that has amazing customer service. I still feel they deserve 5 stars for customer service and having authentic Mexican food. WAY WAY WAYYYY better than other Mexican options in town. La hacienda is completely crap next to this place.
