I've been meaning to stop by this store, not this location in particular, but this store name brand. Parking is shared in a public lot across from the Hangar. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by wonderful staff members. I came here because my doctor recommended that I go there to get shoes specifically for my plantar fasciitis. There is a machine that will scan your feet as you stand on top of it. Then a little pathway where you walk back and forth and the machine will map the way you walk. This will also tell you your suggested shoe size and what would work best for you. As one of the staff members went in the back to bring out a few shoes for me to try on, another gentleman, Christopher, assisted my husband. After all that I've tried on, I asked if they had any non-slip shoes, which they did, but they had to order them for me. Their customer service and attentiveness with their guests are extremely friendly and loved that they listened to us and what we were looking for. They also give recommendations to help with any achy feet (rolling balls, socks, bands, etc.) These shoes are not cheap, they are $$$ each. My podiatrist gave me a referral which took 10% off my shoe order, but you will need to go to your foot doctor for that one. We went home with 2 pairs each, and some socks.

Fleet Feet Long Beach: The Shoe-Fitting Revolution I Didn't Know I Needed! Hands down, my visit to Fleet Feet in Long Beach was the best shoe-buying experience I've ever had. As someone who's notoriously picky about shoes--usually spotting something online and grabbing it without a second thought--I walked in skeptical but left feeling like a total convert. The store's got that welcoming, runner's paradise vibe, with knowledgeable staff buzzing around like they live and breathe footwear (which, let's be real, they probably do). Shoutout to Antonio, my outfitter extraordinaire--he was endlessly patient, taking time to break down every option without a hint of rush. I've never tried on so many pairs in one go (we're talking double digits!), but he made it fun and educational. Normally, I'd bounce after one or two mismatches, but Antonio explained why it mattered: the "feel" I was chasing (cushioned yet responsive for my daily miles) required understanding how each shoe interacts with my unique gait. He walked me through their signature fit process--a game-changing 3D foot scanning system paired with dynamic pressure mapping. It's like a high-tech foot X-ray: you step onto a platform that captures precise measurements of your foot length, width, arch height, and even volume, then analyzes your stride as you walk (or "run" in place). This data reveals things like pronation patterns--whether your foot rolls inward too much (overpronation) or stays neutral--and flags potential wear spots on your current shoes. They emailed me a full profile afterward, and suddenly it clicked why my old pairs always broke down unevenly on the outsides. Mind. Blown. If you've ever wondered why your feet hurt after longs walks (10k+ steps) or a run, this is the secret sauce--science-backed fitting that ensures your shoes support YOU, not just look good on the shelf. The whole team was meticulous; every staffer I saw was dialed in on shoe specs, from stack heights to drop measurements. Antonio's encyclopedic knowledge blew me away--he could rattle off why a certain midsole foam excels for road vs. trail without missing a beat. It's not pushy sales; it's genuine expertise that makes you trust the recommendation. And the payoff? My first pair of Saucony (They've been around 100 years!?!). I'm not exaggerating: these are the most comfortable shoes I've worn in years. Plush cushioning that feels like walking on clouds, but with enough energy return to keep my walks and jogs or runs (haven't ran in years due to bad knees) peppy. Bias alert? Maybe a little, post-fitting glow-up. But seriously, slip into a pair and you'll get it--they're lightweight, breathable, and that meta-rocker geometry makes every step effortless. Not the priciest kicks I've splurged on, but the service alone would've justified double the tag. Fleet Feet Long Beach is primed to explode--mark my words, they'll be popping up across LA and OC soon. If you're tired of guesswork shoe shopping, do yourself a favor: head in, ask for Antonio (or any of the crew), and let the fit id magic happen. Five stars? More like ten if I could. This isn't just buying shoes; it's investing in pain-free miles for those long walks or that daily run.

Didn't have a lot options for what I was looking for. I'll try again in the future based on the quality service I received.

I found the shoes and the cashier asked if I wanted to choose different shirts- I let her know the store didn't have anything I preferred because most other options had provocative graphics for my 13 year old. I was told I had to get a store credit because the exchange from the previous day and purchase were on the same receipt. I asked to speak to a manager and the young female cashier said she was the manager conveniently. I mentioned that she processed the transaction the day before and never mentioned that a refund was not an option if I completed the exchange on the same transaction. I had my son come and pick out something because I didn't want a store credit since I won't be coming to this store anymore. I let her know that as a "manager" and being in customer service she should have let me know that if I wanted to be able to return the new items I needed to process two separate transactions. She said looking down the entire time I will take that into consideration. I didn't want to argue because she was clearly young and lacks experience dealing with customers, as well as experience using a POS system. As a manager she has the ability to override things the system won't process. Especially since she failed to mention the day before that the exchange would be the only future option. Definitely recommend training considering the location of store because that interaction could have went a different way considering her attitude and demeanor. I'm also guessing because they have a security guard sitting in the front of the store they are used to people being unruly. I won't be shopping here ever again.

May 22, 2024 Opens at 11 am…read more My family and I came to eat locally. The business was closed, so I took the opportunity to go window shopping, so I thought of private sneakers. I'm a huge fan of New Balance shoes, low and behold they had multiple on display, even a new style new balance I have often wondered what lies behind these closed doors. When I say closed I mean locked ! As we went to open the door. Low and behold, Manny unlocks the door! I had to ask why they were locked. Unfortunately, folks can walk in and out without paying. So doors are kept locked. Personally, I enjoyed my 40-minute shopping experience alone with my family having Manny to ourselves to ask questions regarding New Balance shoes. I may have never bought one pair, let alone two pairs, without his personal assistance. I seen these very new new balance shoes, half open grey shoes on the shelf. Manny mentioned these were their newest in store. He brought me 3 different pairs until I had the perfect fit. I'm taking them @ $150.00 Manny did the same for my mother in law. She was a bit more challenging in shoe. You see, she is petite with the smallest foot I've ever known for an adult. Manny brought several different new balance shoes. He finally brought out a 4 1/2 new balance 9060 in dark blue shoe (kids) @ $110.00. Add those to my order as well. Why I like new balance shoes they come Wide, I have a big wide foot. The stability, balance, and shock absorption. Overall, quality shoes are out the door. Overall experience with Manny and Johnny 5 stars, Atmosphere was poppin' when I was not taking photos I was dancing. The beats were great. 5 stars .
