I had a problem that started out last year with my 2017 Chevy Trax that I had bought from another dealer that was rather far from where I currently live and work. After bringing it to 2 mechanics last year they both ran diagnostics and couldn't pinpoint what it was. So I put it off. The car would run - I just had to keep my foot on the gas for a up to like a minute or so and the it would "catch" and also the check engine light was on and it wouldn't accelerate sometimes and then suddenly it would and I got decreased gas mileage. It was a nuisance. Well finally my time for my car to be inspected was coming upon me (the end of this month) so now I had to worry about it. I brought it to the mechanic again in hopes that this time they could tell me what the problem was and it could be addressed so I could pass my inspection - and ofcourse hoping and praying it wouldn't be an arm and a leg. Well once again after running diagnostics again they told me they couldn't pinpoint it again and I'd have to go to a Chevy dealer. This alone just deeply depressed me. Because from many past experiences and experiences of people I know. Their experiences are not good. People tend to come out with more problems than they started with or things not properly put back together or hefty bills, etc. Everyone reading surely knows what I mean. Dealers tend to be shady and we are at their mercy. So... I decided before going to a dealer I would read yelp reviews to get an idea of a good honest dealer with good honest representatives/ associates. The Chevy dealers near me Trenton/Princeton/Hamilton areas all had bad reviews. So I checked the reviews for this dealer that I am writing this review in regards to. And the reviews to Ciocca Chevrolet Buick GMC of Flemington were rather good. So although kinda far I decided this was the place I was going. They graciously squeezed me in even after They told me they were booked to October 15th and the very next day!! After explaining my situation they took the time to look again and realized some cancellations so graciously and kindly squeezed me in! And that was just the beginning! But to make a long story short just getting there became a chaotic adventure for me. But once there even after arriving a bit late they didn't turn me away and I just came in venting going on and on about my miserable day which literally was like the day from hell and Brianna Shimko just listened and was very understanding and didn't make me feel like a nuisance and irritant. She was so kind and understanding - as was everyone I encountered. But the best part was after waiting not long at all Brianna came back and informed me that the car had been fixed and it was covered under some warranty that I'm still not convinced I have. I was literally brought to tears. In a nation full of greed and chaos and people taking advantage of other people... They could have told me anything. Could have charged me an arm and a leg and I would have been at their mercy. There would be nothing I could do. But it cost me NOTHING. It's great to know there are still good and honest establishments with good honest associates. This place in my book is literally the best! I came in contact with John Bonner who was fantastic with getting the price points I needed to make the deal. He then sent me over to Dave K who was also excellent. Dave was very friendly and straight forward. I spent limited time at the dealership when the day came to sign the paperwork. When is Cadillac going to realize that their target market is the person who has a Mercedes a Porsche a BMW (like me!) and that a service center that is a throw back to the 1970's just isn't in line with the market they are chasing. And.... really, no other Cadi dealers for 20 miles! The Facility is ancient (but WAY better than Kemper was before they tanked) The waiting room is your great grandmother's living room Getting a loaner is a painful process.. whine and you will get one, from Enterprise rent a car, and spend 45 minutes checking out and 45 minutes returning. But... the people are super nice; the vehicle service is very good and their interest in your satisfaction feels sincere. That is why this is a 3 star review not a 1 star. I tried to give Flemington Chevrolet a second chance. I had a bad experience in the service dept the first time around granted Anthony the manager called made things right and I was much happier so, I decide to call them a second time to schedule a oil change I called a week ahead asked how much they charge? I was ok with the price so I ask if they have a 10:00 am appointment for next Saturday available, I am told yes no problem see you next Saturday at 10:00 am. Then all of a sudden mid week I get a phone call from Duncan that they made a "mistake" on the schedule and they need to move me to either 9 or 11 here's my problem I scheduled that time for a reason I have other things going on and that would allow me time to get those things done before and after that appointment. Duncan was very rude about me not wanting to change to another time got a attitude with me and said fine we will see you at 10 am so the more I thought about it the more I realized that I just needed to take my business elsewhere I have never dealt with such poor customer service as I have at a Flemington Chevrolet and I will never be back you have now proved to me that 2 bad experiences are enough to take my business elsewhere even if I have to drive 30 miles out of my way for better service. read more

Good Afternoon, On 4/16/15 at 8:00 am in the morning I was searching for a GMC Arcadia and came across an add on the internet that seemed too good to be true. It was a 2015 Acadia Denali, Brand New with MSRP being $50,185 and the internet price was $18,357, with the website saying You Save $31,828. I printed out the add from this website ASAP, because again I had in my mind it was too good to be true. I then proceeded to fill out a prequalification application and then waited for the dealership to open. Once open I called at about 10:00am and asked to speak to sales and got transferred to a young lady by the name of Alley. I told Alley of the deal I saw on the website and she pulled up the add and told me she needed to speak to her manager and she would get back to me. Alley said maybe it was a demo or the manager drove it for a while. Alley called me back 5 seconds later and the manager said that the deal was not accurate. I told Alley that is fine, but now I will be contacting the Attorney General due to false advertisement on behalf of Flemington Car and Truck Company. Very disappointed that they made this big mistake on their website and now they are trying to sweep it under the rug. read more

Took my vehicle in for service on the clutch and front brakes. Was informed the rear brakes needed to be completely replaced as well. Considering the age and value of my vehicle I did not want to exceed $3000 in repairs. Prior to the rear brakes, my estimate was provided for $2300. I was provided with a "ball park" figure of roughly $300 regarding the rear brakes because their computer system was down. When I went to pick up my vehicle the total was over $3060. I asked to have the repair associate contact me regarding the price; left a physical note, and kept the service order opened, but no one ever contacted me regarding a possible discount or to discuss the matter. Within 3 days my brakes were vibrating upon use, and had to return the vehicle to have the rear brakes fixed again (no charge). Although they are always polite, this is the 3rd time I have had inconsistency with service. read more

Whatever you do avoid any repair work at Flemington Chevy. Two times I received calls from their service department explaining what was wrong with our car and the cost to do the service. The problem is each time I had to point out the car was under warranty and there should be no cost related to the repair, each time the miraculously looked again and found I was right, go figure. I'm not sure if they just don't provide any training to the service reps, or if the service reps just don't grasp the training or more than likely they are just blatantly trying to rip off the customer. I guess they have to find a way to pay for the new building they put in. Once the warranty is over there is no way any of our cars will be back for any form of servicing. read more

This is in regards to a purchase of a Cadillac CTS. The customer service was absolutely horrible. They do not establish any order, very contentious staff members "Finance Manager" and I was sold a Defective vehicle, less then 24 hrs of having the vehicle the check engine light comes on. They want to do everything on their time. When I arrived to purchase the vehicle my sales person "Wisemen" informed me my tardiness "due getting lost" was a inconvenience. He didn't know I was still on my way, simply because he was contacting a client advisor for my whereabouts, when he's my sales person. I worked with a client advisor throughout the process of the sale. She was seemingly helpful, but she isn't a sales person. So I arrive, he tells me the finance manger is upset because he has plans with his family; as if that would be any of my concern. I signed the buyers agreement to comeback in to pick up the vehicle. I return Friday to purchase, I analyze and test drive the vehicle, return to the finance office. "Eric" the finance manager was very contentious and disrespectful. Made very simple things complex. I asked him simple questions such as " What are the rates for each bank" He insisted on arguing with me over Simple things. He had the nerve too accuse me of lying about the pricing of a Warranty, which my sells person quoted me from another Finance manager; in front of him. He confirms the numbers are correct once he looks through his documents, however never apologizes for his behavior. Monday I speak with the GM "Jeff Parker", I tell him about my service and vehicle. He doesn't apologize or attempts to mend the issue. He tells me the sales person can only come to pick up the vehicle after he finishes another deal. Two days later, which is completely unprofessional due to the fact I've already spent my money; which makes me a priority. Then the day comes for them to pick up the vehicle, he emails me telling me the earliest they can pickup the car for recovery service is Tuesday. Which results in 10 days of the check engine light being on. I call and speak with the owner. He takes my information and returns my call just offering me my money back, without taking the time to hear about my experience. They wanted the car back that day, which was such a inconvenience. They returned the vehicle I traded in to them with one of the wheels coming off; blaming it on the age of car. It was just a complete Poor experience. We were an easy sale. We pretty much knew exactly what we wanted. We just needed to know what options were available. We were pretty much a sure thing as we knew what we wanted. It wasn't a tough sell. All was fine. Howeever, we were told it would be about a month for the truck to be built and shipped. Around week 4, I started checking in with the salesperson, as he didn't keep us updated like he said he would. Around week 6 or so, I was told our truck was done and on a train to PA on its way to NJ. He said it should be here by end of the next week (I think this was on Saturday). The week goes by and I never hear anything. The next week goes by and I don't hear anything. I call to get an update and the salesperson calls me back and says its still on the train! Seriously. I know how long it takes to get from TX to PA and its not 2 weeks. Something wasn't right here. On Monday around 9am, I was near the dealership and drive thru the lot. I see a truck that exactly matches mine ( dead giveaway was the cloth seats. The car had to be special ordered because there were none available with cloth in any color at all). Exact body color with cloth sitting in their lot. However I didnt have VIN with me so not definite. Next day, I drive by and truck is still sitting in same spot. My husband goes on dealer website and sure enough, it shows my truck on their inventory. He calls the salesperson who claims he is on the phone with the transportation company trying to track the truck. My husband tells him it's on their inventory and that I saw the exact car sitting in their lot. He says that it's not there and that the inventory thing is a clitch. So, I drive back down there with the VIN and compare it to the VIN of truck in lot. Of course it's my truck. I go In to confront the salesperson. When he sees me he looks nervous and has the audacity to tell me the truck had just gotten delivered right then! Seriously!! I told him I know it wasn't just delivered as it was there the day before and in reality, I am certain it had been sitting in their lot for much longer. What I can't figure out is why? And why didn't he know if we could easily look online and see it in their inventory. Why would he lie about it still being on the train? No explanation, no apology, nothing. It's not like we were difficult customers. The guy had to do no work for the sale! Yet he lied to us about checking on the status. If he had actually checked, he would have known it as sitting in the lot. He really looked bad after that. Will never deal with this dealership again. read more

I was using Flemington Buick Chevrolet Pontiac GMC for service on my 08 Silverado for about the past 4 years. For the most part, I trusted them/their work and had no complaints except that when you waited for your truck, you waited for long time, even if it was just for an oil change and checkup. Over the summer I went in for a scheduled oil change, and after they completed it, they reviewed with me my "check-up report" and it had "FAILED - CRITICAL CONCERNS"/major repairs on it: transmission lines leaking fluid, ball joint needs replacement and rear axle seal needs replacement. Estimated bill to replace/fix all on my repair list: over $1700. I should also note that although my truck is 6 years old, it only had 55.5k miles on it at the time, and I used it maybe a dozen times or so for stone/dirt pickups (I mainly use it to/from work . . . an easy 32 mile round trip drive) . . . so I really could not understand how I could need a new ball joint already. I told the service rep that I do not have that kind of money and I would call them back to start on the repairs in a week. I then went to a local tire/service center near me in Somerville (which I will write up in another review), which I had used before and felt they were honest and fair, and I tell them where I went and what I was told. The manager says "he is not surprised" . . . and they look at all of the above. Their report: no visible leaks on the transmission or lines, ball joints look fine and rear seal is not that bad, but it could be replaced if I wanted it done. Their estimate for the rear seal work was only $300, $190 cheaper than Flemington Buick Chevrolet Pontiac GMC, and after I had it done, the final bill was only $250 (i.e., $50 less than their estimate). Lesson learned: never go back to Flemington Buick Chevrolet Pontiac GMC for service again and instead from now on use my local tire/service center. read more

I wrote a review not too long ago regarding my horrific experience with my Suburban and the repairs that were supposed to be made with the hubs. The first time they never actually repaired it causing the the hub to later exploded, causing extensive damage and then not replacing the other hub, even though everyone knows they are replaced in pairs. This eventually caused issues again. This is my main vehicle when transporting my family of 7. When I questioned this and then asked if they replaced a certain part that should never be "re-used" I was told they did not replace it and re-used what was there. I spent an endless amount of time and money dealing with these people and they claimed they were trying to do everything possible to help me. Only when I wrote a negative review did they contact my husband -ha! They offered to refund the money I spent on their half-assed repair job that they discounted b/c I gave them a hard time. They asked if I corrected my review and/or post that they made good on this issue. I have always tried to shop local and support local business. I purchased 2 vehicles in cash and even recommended friends to do business there. Personally the vehicle was a lemon and they know it. So here is my post saying they "did right" by refunding the few hundred dollars on the 3rd repair. I am currently in the market for a business vehicle and a for fun sports car and guess what - they will not have my business. read more

Make easier for the customer. It should not take 30 minutes to pick up our vehicle due to all of your red tape. Fix it !! Or lose customers. Not so much a review of GMC but a review of the guy Larry Stewart who does the tinting in the back of the dealership. I have been more than patient with him through text to get my back window tint fixed (he did not clean it well so there was dirt and a long hair stuck inside). I got my tint done back in early October and I've been trying to get a hold of him ever since (calls and texts). I used to get replies saying he would fix it but every week it was a different excuse. I live an hour away from the dealership and I can't go down to Flemington just to find him. He has no company name or website so there was no other way I could get a hold of him. So I basically paid all this money for a horrible tint job and ended up having to pay for another tint company to fix his problem. read more

So she heard me and she said yeah so it's more expensive than that she then insulted my intelligence about cars and financial literacy by saying ' You don't know what comes with a lease you don't understand how the payments work and how there's tax on cars' So I let her talk her talk. So I then replied saying of course I know there's tax on cars. She then insulted me because I'm young by saying your young you don't know how cars work . Now granted I may be young however I still found it quite offensive that she insulted my intelligence and to make it even worse I was with my cousin and he said he just bought a GMC Denali and she said to him why did you not come to me. After she said that he said to her that he found that very offensive. I have an older GMC Yukon I brought there because I was having intermittent brake failure due to bad ABS sensors that, because it was so intermittent, my regular mechanic couldn't duplicate the problem while he had it. After doing a lot of Internet research I came across this issue as being a recall issue. In the salt belt states that get snow / salt on the road, it causes the front wheel sensors to corrode and not work anymore which results in intermittent brake failure like I was experiencing. I called this dealership to inquire about my vehicle being recalled for the issue. The person I spoke to in the phone who made my appointment told me that my recall ticket had been closed out in 2005. I had no recollection of ever bringing it there for service, so she said she had no idea why my ticket was closed but that I could make an appointment for the vehicle to come in so they could do a diagnostic and check that the recall was done. She told me the diagnostic was free and that they wouldn't do any repairs until they got my okay for whatever it was that they found and also check into the recall to verify it was done. Long story short, the girl who made the initial appt was wrong about diagnostic being free, it was 130.00, but I felt I had no choice at that point, I just needed to know if the recall was done and this wasn't a recall issue. Then, after paying the 130.00 and trying to find a ride there to pick up my car, they tell me I could have used their free shuttle service! How was I supposed to know about the free shuttle service nobody told me about? My car has been down a week now, cost me 130.00 and they were unable to locate the problem as the 130.00 worth of diagnostic time wasn't enough and they needed me to authorize paying for more time to find the problem. So, decision was ultimately made to bring car back to orig. mechanic in Whitehouse and told him just replace all the sensors at this point bc I don't want to waste more time and money just for diagnostic. Beware of the dealership that tells you estimate diagnostic is free. I've never even heard of having to pay for someone to tell you what's wrong. And no, they don't minus the estimate off your total bill if you get it repaired there. I would never recommend bringing a car that is not still under warranty to them for anything. Go to Drivers FX in Whitehouse Station on rte 22 instead. They're honest and only repair what really needs to be fixed. I feel like the dealership just wanted to make as much money as possible off me, they were like a parasitic leech on the wallet. I really don't like to write bad reviews but I want others to know this dealership doesn't do free estimates. Obviously not all of their employees are aware of this read more

When I called to find out the status of the car I was told it was just picked up so we couldnt get it back until the next day. When I asked Brenda where the car went she said she has no idea. I feel that if they take the car in they should know where it is going. After being frustrated I contacted my salesman Adam who was very kind and went out of his way to help us. When I was explaining the situation to him several feet away from Brenda and I said I didnt think it was good that the rep didnt know where the car went, she was very rude to me screaming at me across the room. My 18 year old daughter turned to me and said hope a survey comes out where we can let people know how rude Brenda was, so here it is. I wont deal with her again even if she is a chevy rep.
