Olney Car Care are hands down the most (only?) honest mechanics I've ever been to. We took my husband's Lexus to the dealer for repairs and they quoted us $7500. Olney got it done for $3000-- and did it well. We've been going to them for three years, and it's been the same story every time. Extremely reliable service at honest prices. The mechanics are also very nice and easy to deal with. I no longer live in Olney, but still drive 30 min just to take my car to these guys because there's no one better. Highly recommend. Just don't take my appointment! :)

I went in for what should have been a routine oil change -- nothing complicated, just standard service. Instead, I ended up dealing with a complete nightmare that showed a serious lack of professionalism and attention to detail. Not even 24 hours after my oil change, I noticed a large pool of oil forming in my driveway. I checked under my car and discovered that oil was leaking from the drain plug area. When I took a closer look, I realized the drain plug bolt had been stripped and the crush washer (which is essential for sealing and preventing leaks) had not even been installed. That's basic, entry-level maintenance procedure -- something any competent technician should know. Because of this negligence, I was completely out of oil by the next day. If I hadn't caught it in time, it could have easily caused catastrophic engine damage from running the car dry. Oil is the lifeblood of an engine -- running out can destroy it within minutes. What's even worse is that the oil leak stained my entire driveway, leaving me to clean up their mistake on top of dealing with my vehicle issue. The financial cost, the wasted time, and the frustration were all avoidable had the technicians done their job properly. To make matters worse, when I contacted the shop, I was met with little accountability or urgency to fix the problem. It's unacceptable that a professional oil change service could overlook something as basic as installing a crush washer and properly tightening a drain plug. This experience has completely destroyed my trust in Jiffy Lube. I will never return to this location (or any Jiffy Lube for that matter), and I strongly urge others to think twice before trusting your car to this shop. There are plenty of local mechanics and quick lube centers that take pride in their work and actually care about the customer's vehicle. If you value your time, your money, and your car's health -- go somewhere else or do it yourself

When we take a car to RAC to be serviced, we know the work will be completed properly to maintain the car in top condition. We have never had to take a car back for a re-do Each visit, RAC does a full inspection of the vehicle and tells us what work is necessary and what issues need to be monitored for future consideration, They never recommend work which is not necessary at the time the vehicle is brought in for service. And although not required, the staff loves my wifes "goodie" package as extra compensation for a job well done!

I dropped my car off early that morning, and they gave me a clear time estimate for when it would be ready. They even sent photos of the issue. While I didn't fully understand what I was looking at, the fact that they were transparent enough to share images--knowing I could easily research them--told me everything I needed to know about their honesty.
