Zamora's fixed my car in 3 days less than anticipated. And it looks better than brand new! Their relationship and proximity to Enterprise Rental car made is so incredibly easy to drop off and pick up my car and get the rental. In this day and age when people settle for an AI response and you feel like a pixel on the screen, it was so refreshing to deal with the staff at Zamora's. They were so pleasant and knowledgeable. I don't always need cosmetic-only body repair work, but when I do..I insist on Zamora's Auto Body. Hey everyone. Yeah, your boy had his very first 2-4 MPH dust up sitting in holiday traffic. Thankfully, nobody was hurt. My car? Not so much. A headlamp and front quarter panel lost a high five with the reinforced back of a panel truck somewhere down South on the way to visit family. Upon return to Maryland, my insurance company and I made arrangements to have work done by Zamora's. They had years ago done some excellent work on another car we have. This shop is what makes me so happy to support American Small Business. Their location was clean and well-managed. My service coordinator, Alex, always kept me up to date on technical proceedings with my car. When it finally came time for pickup, my car nearly looked brand new. Panel lines lined up, no orange peel in the paint, and the color match was flawless as they clearly secured manufacturer paint. All repairs were clearly itemized and the payment was made efficiently from my insurance. I will assume prices were reasonable / consistent with the market as my insurance provider did not balk at the quote. It ended well, but it was a journey to get here -- let me elaborate. I had an accident on the highway involving road debris that struck my Porsche. While reviewing the list of recommended body shops, I came across Zamora's. I remembered they had been around for many years, and several friends in the automotive industry had used them before, so I felt confident choosing them. Scheduling through my insurance was easy. I first went in for an estimate, where I was greeted by a super-friendly receptionist(during each visit, high five), and later scheduled to drop off my vehicle on July 7, 2025. My advisor at the time was Jose. He made a great first impression -- confident, and reassuring. He told me he'd been with the company for over 20 years, which gave me a boost of confidence. At the time of scheduling, I let Jose know that I had a work trip on July 16 and would need the car before then. He assured me the vehicle would be completed by the original promise date of Friday, July 11. Not all parts had arrived yet, which gave me a bit of concern, but with 20 years in the automotive industry myself, I trusted that things would arrive in time and the repair would proceed as scheduled. Zamora's automated texting system was a great tool -- I really appreciated the updates. It's a huge asset, and I give them credit for that. What I didn't like was receiving a last-minute delay phone calls from Jose that contradicted the previously promised completion date on the automated system. I was informed that the bumper had been previously damaged and repaired (something I was unaware of), and that this would require additional work. I was then told the car should be done by Monday, July 14, or Tuesday, July 15. No problem -- I was still confident in Zamora's reputation. The vehicle was completed at the end of the day on Tuesday, July 15. I picked it up and drove it home, eager to have it back. Shame on me for not being more critical at pickup. As a car guy, I should've looked more closely. Once I returned from my trip, I noticed two imperfections, about 1"-2" each, on the bumper -- exactly where the original damage had been. Everything else looked great, but that area stood out. I brought it to Jose's attention. He brought up the previous damage and said it was hard to repair. He reviewed the original photos, which gave the impression that he might try to argue the imperfections were already there. I had already prepared for this -- I had saved the photos I submitted through the app during the claim submission before the repair. If blame was going to be placed on me, I was ready and many more pictures and angles. Jose said he would speak to his boss because "they wouldn't eat the cost of labor." But in insurance repairs, it's standard to call for additional approval if needed -- there's no need for the shop to take a loss or choose those words in our conversation. Then came the follow-up... or lack thereof. I waited, I followed up with phone calls -- and had to chase Jose to get answers. That's not acceptable. If you say you'll follow up, do it. When I last got him on the phone, I was clear and stern, reach out to the insurance company, and ensure the car is returned to its pre-loss condition. I was frustrated. I also let him know I'd be contacting my insurance agent for aligning support. Never heard from Jose, my agent stepped in and contacted the Area Supervisor at Allstate, who in turn reached out to me. I then received a call from a knowledgeable supervisor at Allstate who helped advocate on my behalf. I was instructed to reach out to Eric, the owner. Eric was professional, responsive, and took my concerns seriously. We scheduled a time for me to bring the car back in, and the imperfections were repaired -- properly and as promised. I picked up my vehicle today, and the work was finally done right. I'm happy with the outcome, and I appreciate Eric standing by his word. That said, I'm still annoyed that I had to chase Jose down to get follow ups, to date I never got a call from Jose. Please be better about follow-up and accountability. The vehicle should've never left like how it did the first time. read more

They were able to restore it like new. Their communication is great. Their eta is always on point. Prices are fair, they know how to deal with insurances. They are bilingual in Spanish. Which is a plus for my older relatives. An on site Enterprise helps! They'll put you in a rental, to put you back on the road. Always call first before coming in, because they are always booked. I'm out of $140 for a rental for your mistake and are you willing to reimburse me... NO... My car was damaged in an accident when my wife was hit on the left side by someone changing lanes. She was forced over 2 curbs and into a lamppost. The lamp fell onto the roof and shattered the sunroof. At the recommendation of my insurance company, the car was towed to Zamora on Gude Drive. The front grill was shattered, the sunroof broken, both fenders damaged, two wheels damaged and a tire ruined. It took 5 weeks but the workmanship and professional attention to detail at this shop is outstanding. Every part was restored to original condition, everything works perfectly. The staff at the front desk were helpful and informative and always responsive. They fully washed and cleaned the car so it looked great. I will definitely be using Zamora again for any auto damage. read more

I took my car to Zamora's in Rockville based on the recommendations of both local folks and my insurance agent. The initial estimation process seemed fine, and the facility has a nice waiting area and congenial employees but THEN: I experienced delay after delay, and the reason for them was NEVER explained to me unless I called. All I got was formulaic, automated text messages. (The fate of a piece of machinery worth thousands warrants an explanation, especially when it's fully paid). When I finally got the car back, nearly two weeks after bringing it in, my power steering burnt that same day, less than ten miles of driving after leaving their lot!!! Apparently, while my car was at Zamora's a support piece was either not secured back properly or bumped out of place, or worse, damaged in the accident and missed completely during the inspection and throughout the course of work. This piece rubbed against metal, caused power steering fluid to leak rapidly, lose pressure and burn. When I called Zamora's, Alex treated me like I was stupid, referring only to other parts, specifically to precut angles on the side of the vehicle which was NOT impacted in the accident. Needless to say, they did not offer to fix it, denied any wrongdoing, and made zero effort to remedy the situation. Luckily my insurance did not make them do more crappy work to my car, and the repair was handled expertly elsewhere. read more

My insurance company is USAA, and a few years ago they referred me to Zamora's for some repair work... and over the last decade I've now been there three times for body work in my vans and let me tell you: these guys are good! There is a very strong feeling of "family" about this place, and there's also a very strong feeling of doing the job right and of working closely with the customer. I also like the fact that there's a rental desk there on the spot where one gets a rental arranged for while the work is being done to your vehicle. Turns out my old dealer put on a different mirror to address a service bulletin and didn't tell me! Fantastic work and fantastic employees sums up Zamora's! Chris is the man! Luckily I've only needed extensive body work twice (not my fault both times btw) and both times they had my car looking like new within 48 hours. On each occasion I got several estimates in the area and every other place said it would take a week and a half to two weeks to order the parts, get the matching paint etc. Luckily the turnaround time is much quicker at Zamora's because this is their forte. They also have Enterprise on site should you need to rent a car while they're fixing yours. Be sure to make an appointment for an estimate. It can take a few days to schedule the appointment but that ultimately speaks volumes as to their work and speeds up the process in the long run. Hopefully I won't need collision services again but if I do I'll go straight to Zamora's. Thanks again for an awesome job! read more

After my poor little Scion was involved in not one, but two, incidents this summer, I had to find an auto body shop that dealt with both Geico and USAA. Luckily, I found Zamora's, so I didn't have to deal with the insurance companies myself too much. I was pretty happy with the service and the repairs that I received at Zamora's. The guy who took care of the work was a nice, straight-foward guy, and was conscientious about calling to keep me updated about how the work was progressing. When I got my car back, it looked better than new. I didn't have any problems with them accidentally leaving any scratches behind or breaking anything else. I don't know how the prices were compared to other shops, though, since I haven't ever had to get a lot of body work. Luckily, my insurance paid for it all, but it would have been expensive if they hadn't (there was a lot of work to be done - rear bumper, glass, dents, interior work). As far as the length of time it took to get it repair, they actually were ahead of schedule. It was my insurance company (USAA, who I'm not happy with), who held up the process. Altogether, it took about a week to get my car back. Zamora's also has an Enterprise office on-site. This was pretty convenient for me - I took care of my paperwork and left with a car in no time. The only reason I wouldn't give this 5 stars is because the shop is not metro-accessible. I think this could potentially be a problem for someone who does not have the money or insurance to rent a car. read more

I was ripped off by a car dealership in Stafford, VA who swapped VIN numbers on me and I ended up with a minivan with frame damage listed on the autocheck report. This worried me b/c I have 3 kids under the age of 4 and I did not want to be driving them around in a car that was not structurally sound. After talking to me on the phone and hearing my story, Eric (Eric Zamora the owner of Zamora's), took his own personal time to meet with me and look over my car for "scars" and other tell-tale signs of major damage free of charge. Eric went over my entire vehicle to check the body panels for any signs of major work. Luckily, he found that the van showed no signs of major accident/repairs (as identified by checking the lines, factory welds on my body panels, etc). Eric also showed me first hand on another car in his shop how major repairs should be done to ensure that cars are brought back to factor spec and safety. He was super knowledgeable and a great guy to talk to. Luckily, everything worked out for me and the van seems safe. Although the expansion of the business has enabled Zamora's to be more efficient it has managed to still offer the customer a personal family business atmosphere. Can't believe it's taken me this long to write a review. The nice folks at Zamoras have fixed three of our cars over the past two years. When we had some vandalism on two of our cars we took them to Zamoras and found out that they could buff out the problems at very minimal cost.. the dealer wanted to charge us over $300 for each car for the work With one of our cars, there was major damage from an auto accident. Since the car was only 6 months old I wanted to have factory parts used for replacement. Of course our insurance wouldn't pay for it. Zamoras worked with us to get OEM parts with very little additional cost. They put a lot of work into doing this and we were very pleased. The quality of work from Zamoras is flawless. Having had some work done by other shops i have some good comparison. They are timely, thorough, and very customer oriented. I will only take our cars to Zamoras now. Assuming no one is injured, the worst part of suffering damage to your car is typically the body shop experience. I was used to poor communication and updates, dirty shops with mechanics walking around tiny waiting rooms and always a higher cost than the estimate and your car is never ready when promised.
