    Iced Lavender Matcha
    Delaney A.

Popped in here while exploring downtown Ellsworth, looking for some Matcha which seems to be a bit difficult to find in the area. Thankfully, we found Flexit because the Matcha was really delicious! My wife and I both ordered an Iced Lavender Matcha and the drinks came out quickly and efficiently. It seemed like a cute place to hang out and do some working/study sessions. Plus the location is perfect. Plenty of parking nearby and lots of other shops to explore post-caffeine. We did not order food during this visit so I cannot comment on the food. However, I will say that it seemed like they had a great selection of food as well as a grab-n-go section with lots of items from the cafe and other local vendors. If we're ever back in Ellsworth, we will 100% be back.

No-frills café where you order at the counter, grab everything you need, and bus your own table. Affordable, casual, and super dog-friendly, which I loved! The food was yummy and exactly what you'd expect. It was good, not over-the-top amazing, but definitely satisfying. A great spot for a quick breakfast before heading to Acadia or after walking around downtown Ellsworth (which is also really cute to explore!).

We were on the hunt for coffee and breakfast in the area when we found Flexit Cafe on Yelp. We arrived around late morning/early afternoon and one thing to note is that they have limited breakfast hours. So, we weren't able to order the breakfast sandwich we were hoping for but were fortunate that they still had some quiche left in their pastry case, so we went for that! Let me begin with the quiche, which was outstanding. It was absolutely packed with flavor and much more than simply an egg dish. I got the feta spinach and tomato quiche, which was packed with feta, spinach, and tomato. It was divine. The service was outstanding. They have the sweetest folks working in there! The coffee wasn't great. I got a dirty chai and didn't end up drinking it. The espresso was just not at all my favorite. I'd definitely go back for the amazing food and service, though!

Was there on a Saturday morning and was pleasantly surprised to be greeted with live music inside the door. In addition to the menu, there's a grab-and-go selection of baked goods and sandwiches. The space is filled with muted colors, artwork, and information about the local scene. I ordered a peach vanilla London fog off the specials menu and it was delightfully peachy! Was also impressed by the eco-friendly paper cups and paper lids.

Delicious salmon bagel and Main Street sandwich. But the hash brown bites were only ok. They tasted old and a little greasy. Coffee is yummy. Register girl with long black hair seemed to be having a bad day or just didn't know how to smile. The little grey-haired lady was very sweet. Cute place with purchasable art in the walls! Love the plants! Sustainable place to eat!

We were all pleasantly surprised how good the food and lattes were here! It's a cute cafe with some local art and very community driven. We ordered the breakfast burrito, spinach and feta pastry, and spinach and tomato tulip puff pastry with coffee and pumpkin lattes... yum! Everything was really good. The breakfast burrito had pickled onions in it and it was surprisingly delicious The staff was very friendly. We spoke to the owner, and he was great and helpful. They offer thing like in September - free small coffee and cookie with your local library card... what a ingenious idea! I highly recommend this place to locals and visitors. It's worth the stop and support local / small businesses!!

Flexit Cafe, is a cute cafe that offers incredible coffee, smoothies, and sandwiches. I stopped in for breakfast and I was so pleased with the service and the food. When you walk in, you grab a menu while you wait in line. While you are waiting you pass their bakery items. They have a wide range of options and they have a bunch of gluten free options as well. You have an option of dining in or take out. If you dine in, they give you a number and will bring your food out to you. I ordered their breakfast burrito with sausage on a gluten free wrap and their Berry Blast smoothie. I also brought a gluten free marshmallow bar. Everything I ordered was absolutely incredible! The burrito was made to perfection. Everything paired nicely together and I could not put it down. It was delicious and I could have eaten two that is how amazing it was. The Berry Blast smoothie added the perfect amount of freshness. All the fruit was blended together nicely and the yogurt was a nice touch because it made it creamy. Last but not least was their gluten free marshmallow bar. I absolutely loved it! It was the perfect ending to a perfect breakfast. The marshmallows tasted homemade and the bar was not too hard. Everything paired nicely together and it was worth every single bite. If you are in Ellsworth Maine, then you have to check out Flexit Cafe. Trust me, you will love every second of every bite that you take.

Nice little soup sandwich and coffee shop Order authentic counter. Menu on the video board. We wentbonce for lunch. Young people behind the counter were nice, relaxed, and pleasant. Get a number on a stick stand, then find a place to sit at the wooden tables scattered around. Eventually, they find your number and deliver the food to you. Noise leve is pretty high. Haddock chowder was thick, loaded with fish, and very tasty. Sandwichs were on home baked rolls and fairly innovative Over all a pleasant place for lunch.

Food isn't good, very expensive and atmosphere is terrible. Go anywhere else in downtown ellsworth. Don't waste your time and money here

I like the Blackened Haddock Tacos and the pretzel sticks. Pro Tip: get BOTH the "beer cheese" and the "beer mustard" and get extra of both. You might have extra, but you can use the extra on sandwiches tomorrow. The extra mustard is also great with cheese and crackers as a snack. The blueberry cobbler is fantastic! The peanut butter pretzel pie did not impress my husband; he said the pretzels themselves tasted cheap, like grocery store pretzels. I have been trying to get them to add a vegetarian pasty to the menu. They have almost nothing vegetarian in there, and a Greggs style cheese and onion pasty would also be extremely traditional and surely wildly popular. PLEASE ADD A VEGETARIAN PASTY!! And/or a fish pasty, which would also be very traditional. Oooh, what about a Stargazy Pasty with leeks and cream? Now, THAT would be traditional and would certainly get some media attention. I will raise my rating to 5 stars as soon as this place adds a good vegetarian or fish Signature Entree (preferably a pasty!!). That is literally the only reason they're not getting 5 stars, that it's way too oriented towards meat eaters. (They do have a grilled cheese toasty and a vegan garden burger, so I would still go there if you are vegetarian or vegan, but keep your expectations low when it comes to selection.)

I don't know what to talk about first. The cheesecake. Their business model. Trust. Faith…read more Okay, the cheesecake. FRICKEN' AMAZING and DELICIOUS. Every single flavor that we tried...... and we had a really difficult time deciding which flavors to try of their 60 +/- flavors AT ALL TIMES. We didn't want to be pigs about it... well, actually, we DID want to be pigs, but we didn't let ourselves, and it was darn difficult to limit how many flavors to try out of 60. Every piece was fresh, perfectly made cheesecake, and every flavor was well represented. Being in Maine, we HAD to try blueberry cheesecake. We also tried strawberry, lemon blueberry, cannoli, apple crisp, and s'mores. Sad to say, we never finished them, but we tried them all, and they lasted a good long while. All were perfect and delicious. Now, for their business model. Imagine a business open 24/7... the doors are always open, and NOBODY is working in the storefront with the exception of people (the owners, I'm assuming) loading in more cheesecake flavors when they run out. The business is run COMPLETELY on the honor system. If memory serves, there are 3 ways to pay, but I only recall with specificity the Venmo way to pay cuz that's what I used. I think they accepted checks and one more way to pay, but I don't really recall. Let me be clear, though... it is up to each individual to be on their honor system and pay for what they want to take. Where else on this earth do you know of any retail type shop where people are left to their honor to pay for goods? I have never heard of nor seen any such thing like this before. I could have just as easily walked right out with my cheesecake slices and not paid for any of them. Nobody would have known. They don't check. They don't ask. I'm so impressed by this business model and the fact that it works !!!! I witnessed it. Everyone was paying. It truly is a testament about faith and trust, and it still works. This is just brilliant. Momo's also sells gargantuan pieces of carrot cake, which we did not try, as well as whoopie pies, which we also didn't try. If they sell other items besides the above, I just didn't see them, but I think they have quite enough already. Sixty + flavors of cheesecake alone should keep people happy. The only downside to Momo's is that we live nowhere near it, but I'm truly glad for the experience we had.

Such a fun experience to go in and make some tough decisions - or don't and just get one of each! I didn't realize I needed a grab and go cheesecake experience in my life until my friend sent a reel about this place!! I got the lemon blueberry, it was amazing. So much flavor, well balanced combo of lemon and blueberry coming through! My friend got the Cherry Garcia and I tried a bite, it was good, nice cherry and chocolate pairing! Apologies to the those facing lactose challenges, this place is going to feel like torture! I did get some baklava, which as also delicious! There are some other cake options as well.
