It was empty when we got there, about 5 pm. Our server was fantastic and very patient with us. We were a table of five and it was our first time there. I ordered cheese curds and bruschetta while we decided on dinner. The cheese curds were so good we ordered more. The bruschetta was just ok. Some thought there was too much balsamic drizzle. We ordered, the food came out in a reasonable time and was just as ordered. By this time the place was starting to fill up but not packed. It was clean and not too loud nor too quiet, but just right. Considering the airplane on the building, we were hoping for more airplane decor but it wasn't a deal breaker. Parking was adequate which is a deal breaker for me if there is not ample parking. I would go back. read more

I live upstairs and wanted to love this place but the food was just awful. I ordered nachos to go (photo attached) m. Not only did it seem like there was NO CHEESE, I ordered beef for an extra charge and there seemed to be a small sprinkling of meat. Honestly a laughable photo, looks like a plate of chips with a few jalapeños. Don't recommend. read more

I've come here multiple times since I live in the Atlas. They offer a 10% discount if you live there. I've called for takeout and have dined in. The burgers and fries and delicious. The portion of the side of fries could be better though. The nachos are great for sharing. Sunday is all day happy hour with most appetizers being half off. I've had almost all of their appetizers and feel like you can't go wrong with any of them. Nachos and the sampler with mac and cheese bites, pickle chips, and cheese curds are really good. Drinks are good too and not too expensive. If it's busy and they don't have a lot of workers, be prepared to wait but it's worth it! read more

April 17 2024. Walked in and sat ourselves, the guy behind the bar was also the server for all the tables. There wasn't too many tables and he kept up with everyone's needs and stayed on the ball and was very nice & friendly. We ordered the Trio App, totally worth the money to get and try 3 different apps of your own choice. The Mac n cheese bites stole the show, wow, those were fabulous. All the food came out PIPPING hot and super quick. The place was very clean, welcoming, and love all the plane decor! Easy to find the restaurant and find parking right out front! They have great specials everyday and all day happy hour on Sundays! Dessert was a nice sweet thing to top off the night, it was good, but nothing crazy good, probably wouldn't order it again though! Prices are good for the amount of food and quality! read more

The food and drinks here are pretty decent! I went with coworkers after work one day for happy hour. Highlights: big restaurant with lots of seating, the nachos were tasty and fresh and huge enough for 5 of us to share, the drinks were made well and tasted great. Friendly servers and staff. Big menu! Lowlights: it's really geared toward college students living at the Atlas. If you're nearby looking for a fun place for happy hour, go for it, but don't go out of your way to come here. One of the servers told us the chicken was house made (I imagine he meant house cooked), which made me think the other meats are probably frozen and recooked, the service was slow when more people arrived, like slow enough we had to wait in line at the register to pay our tabs. I ordered two dirty gin martinis, the first was rung up as a lemon drop martini, which they promptly fixed, but the price was $1 more than the other I ordered. Could have been a happy hour/non happy hour price difference, so I don't count that as a negative on their part. Just a hassle to correct with the wrong martini listed. read more

First time trying this place and was disappointed. The food was not nasty but it certainly not good. We ordered our food to go... A Philly Cheese Steak: completely under seasoned and had more veggies than meat. The worst part was the queso they put on it.. terrible! Fried Chicken sandwich was fries good but had zero seasoning and was underwhelming. Also the mayo melted off the bun and was all over my fries. We got a burger my son devoured and he had no complaints. Also the sides of fries was tiny. Honestly I McDonalds would have been better money spent and I don't eat McDonald'. read more

Pretty good! Full transparency, I know one of the cooks here and came in with him on his day off. I ordered the Raptor burger with bacon, egg, gouda, and adobo aioli. Felt kind of weird to order since I was there for dinner, but my friend recommended it. To my surprise, it didn't actually taste overly "breakfast-y." It was a pretty decent burger, nice and juicy, flavorful, and I loved the sauce. The bun was toasted golden brown and didn't fall apart or get soggy. It wasn't the most impressive burger I've ever had, but it did the trick. It came with fries which were also just pretty decent. Crispy. Nothing special. Can't really speak to service since I was there with an employee so everyone knew us. We ate at the bar and the bartender made me a drink that tasted like apple cider, you could barely taste the alcohol! Vibe-wise, it's definitely a sports bar and definitely geared towards all the Creighton students who live in the Atlas above, which is... not my personal vibe. But it's very clean, spacious, and well-lit, which improved the experience a lot. read more

*this review reflects 3-4 visits, all of which were takeout experiences* Main pros: Pretty quick service - I believe it was 30 mins or less from submitting the order to completion each time Wide variety of menu items Main con: The various meals we've tried have yet to impress: good concepts... But they miss the mark The flavors boasted in the menu descriptions sound amazing, but I think they struggle to deliver. On our most recent visit, for example, I ordered the Atlantic salad (salmon, greens, radish, avocado, blue cheese, etc) and even though I'd been craving salmon specifically, I couldn't finish it. The seasoning used was very salty and it was coating the salmon very heavily. My husband got a burger with ham and pineapple and onion rings and the balance of salty and sweet was also askew here. The onion rings were a different 'batter' than most, and neither of us particularly enjoyed it. I can't remember for sure the other meals we've tried except that there were a couple more burgers, sandwiches and salads, and none of them were great. I think I'd still like to try once more as a dine in option and see if anything changes the experience, but so far, we've been less than thrilled with our trips to Flight Deck. read more

Was excited to try it out since it smells so good every time I walk past it but the burger AND fries were dry. Their Asian bowl is ok but not something I would go back for. Their pizza is not bad, but I would only get it for convenience since I lived in the building. They do get busy sometimes, I happened to place an order when it was busy and waited for like an hour to get my burger and fries. I lived in the building at the time and kept coming back to see if my food was ready then the guy told me to write down my number so he can let me know when my food was ready, the dude texted the wrong number. I ended up coming to check again since it was taking so long and he was like "I texted you", it was a nice gesture but he didn't even feel bad for texting the wrong number, just shrugged. One time we called ahead to place our order and the person misplaced our order. What? Whatever, gave this place 3 tries, did not like it at all. Would not recommend. read more

I want to like this place more being located where it is, but each time I order from here I'm disappointed. The first time I tried the black bean burger, and it was a ball of mush without flavor. The next time I tried the Caesar salad with salmon, and the salad was 20 old mixed lettuce leaves drowned in dressing with a fishy tasting overcooked salmon strip. Today, I tried to order a crush raspberry sour beer, and got served a mixed drink with mint and who knows what else. I couldn't ask our server since he was so busy we could barely flag him down to order. The pickle chips were more like pickle skin fries. Ugh, just bad. The interior is clean and a great spot for watching games (big, open, lots of TVs, lots of seating for bigger parties), so if you want a place to hang out with low expectations on food and service... this is the place. read more

Standard | TVs | service Standard - Flight Deck, is the standard sports bar but has a large variety in its menu. They have a variety of specials depending on the day of the week to encourage people to come there to watch games. I have had their chicken sandwich, chicken tenders, and chicken wings the three times I've come. The Chicken sandwich is the most delicious, and the chicken wings are the most filling. The wings are the whole wing with two pieces drum and whing. Therefore, when you get "five" wings, you are getting ten wings in terms of serving size. T TVs - They have a lot of TVs (5-6) above the bar that are easy to see throughout the restaurant. However, if you are going to watch the game, you need to be at the bar to get the full experience. Service - the service is relatively inconsistent. I have had a fantastic experience with one of their managers, Alex. On the other hand, I have had sub-par service where I had to send my sandwich back two times because of simple mistakes like placing a sauce on that I am allergic to (that I said to leave off) the first time and forgetting to put on lettuce the second time. The food was cold when it was brought to the table, and they didn't believe us or want to do anything about it. Not going back.

I've been here a few times, mostly because I really like their outdoor seating in the summer and the super friendly employees and the owner Douglas! The inside is great for watching games also and the food, while bar food, is GOOD bar food! Easy parking as well. They really do go out of their way to make sure you are taken care of which I love. I've had their nachos and tried the grilled cheese and pizza. All are good...again really good for bar food! The menu has many options including burgers, pizza, rice bowls, salads, sandwiches, soup, etc. In fact they just rolled out a new menu so I still have lots of things to try! Love the airplane outside and the details they have to be sure it's comfortable for all. Also it's awesome they have heaters above some of the outdoor tables. Always a huge plus!! See you again FD! read more

Tried the flight deck for the first time tonight. The aviation theme is nicely done, not over done and annoying as some places - nice decor and a good menu. The flight deck serves burgers (or course) rice bowls, sandwiches and pizzas. I had the mushroom and onion burger which was a solid choice - good flavor and a good ratio of meat to bun. The have a special sauce that was delicious, and worth trying. We also ordered the onion rings; good color and flavor and jalapeño poppers that were really good. Prices are right where you would expect them to be and a good portion of food for your money. Everyone at our table didn't have any complaints with the food and left pleasantly full.. The staff was good, timely and attentive. We had a small issue with our order, but it was resolved, the problem was communicated and promptly handled to complete satisfaction. So overall the customer service was good, could improve, but still better than many many other places. Overall I would definitely visit again, we are already planning to return and try the pizza - it looked good... The flight deck brings another good place to hang out in Omaha. I wanted to love this place because the menu , location , and cleanliness are solid . I tried it 3x because I hoped the bar tender Morgan getting wasted while working and ignoring paying customers while trashing their orders was a fluke but sadly all the servers suck so badly at their job this is just the norm for this place. So I maybe a little biased because I live so close but I love the food from this place. The waffle fries are (dare I say it) better than Chick Fil a. The food is good! We've been a couple times sitting at the bar and have tried a few things. Philly was great, burgers tasty, chicken parm good, spruce goose was fine. We did queso which was average but good for the price. App trio with garlic bread, curds, and Korean spring rolls. We did have to ask for the sauces even though the menu states they comes with them. The service kinda sucks to be honest and our server/bartender took our orders without a mask and wasn't around to follow up for quite some time after we got our food. This left the new hire hanging on the floor alone and she kept apologizing. All in all, I'd recommend the food. But plan to be there for awhile because of the poor service taking forever to get in orders and bring them one. read more

The drizzled cheese is a perfect touch! We loved it!! We will be back! read more

I went today with a group of 5. We arrived around 1:30 and the place was empty. Half of our group got there first and ordered chips and queso (very average). The waiter came and got the remaining drink orders and then left to give us time, came back with drinks and left to give us more time.. the menu is very simple we didn't need 15 min to read if after half our party had already been there ten min. He finally comes back and doesn't write down our order which we hesitated to comment on and he did end up messing up one of the orders. Once the food finally arrived it was ok, smaller portions, we enjoyed the food ok but nothing special. Not sure I'd come back. read more

Since learning that Flight Deck was opening in the former hospital, I've had every intention of checking this place. It took a couple of years but I finally made it. The interior of this place is pretty standard and similar to what you would find in a strip mall sports bar: televisions, outdoor dining space, high and low tables. The service duing our visit was great. Upon learning it was my sons birthday, they server gave him a slushie which he loved. We were there on a Friday which meant the special was "Fry Day" where you can get french fries with a variety of toppings. I instead opted for the mountain of nachos with ground beef. Not my favorite nachos in town but a solid option. My wife enjoyed her salad and my son the french bread style pepperoni pizza. The cheese curds were also very good. Again, not my favorite in town but pretty darn good for a sports bar. There's nothing exceptional about this place but it offers pretty good food, a solid beer selection, great service and outdoor seating. What else can you ask for? read more

The service was a little dodgy as there was only one person doing the bar and all the tables but we were patient. The drink specials they had posted on Facebook didn't match what was on the wall, we ordered what was posted on the wall and didn't get charged the right price but overall the experience was okay. The food was good. We got the chicken fried steak bites as an appetizer. They came out quickly and the gravy to dip them in was really good. For entrees, I got the spicy orange cirrus rice bowl which was tasty but not spicy at all. My husband got the afterburn burger and fries and it was really good! We'll definitely be back. read more

The food is fine at best. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich for lunch, but they got my order wrong and gave me the fried chicken instead; not a big deal, it happens. It's essentially fast food quality at a higher price. It's better than BK or the Golden Arches, but not as good as a sit-down burger place or bar and grill. I probably won't be going again. read more
