My mom's salmon seemed to be cooked well, we asked for medium and that's what she got. The tiramisu was good, and I am not generally a fan. The mocktail that ordered-basil gimlet was a nice balance of sweet and sour. Overall, really giving it a 3.5 but based upon comparison to my other 4 star ratings, I had to bring it down a bit. A candlelit intimate environment, attentive service and quality food made for a positive experience. I had Shepherd's Pie which had large pieces of lamb, vegetables and covered in mashed potatoes. The menu was Sunday brunch however it had many pleasing options from breakfast standards to sandwiches and salads. We all ordered sandwiches and asked for additions or omissions which wasn't a problem at all. All of our choices came with generous portions and were delicious. Our server was efficient but not the friendliest, but he got the job done. Overall, I would return to Mistral if I visit Princeton again and would recommend it to others too.

It is however dark and less inviting. In part that's the rub here. As much as we appreciated the quality of the food and gorgeous setting the fact that it is part of a brewery becomes somewhat irrelevant.
