We went here for the Valentine dinner, also first time been here. The vibe is very modern and nice. Staff are also very nice and energetic. I ordered grilled baby eggplant for appetizer. For main, I ordered hanger steak and my bf ordered rib eye, both medium cooked. For the hangover steak, it was well made and I think it goes very well with the sauce and salad. But I think the sauce was a bit too sweet for me. For the rib eye tho, this is the main reason I took out 2 stars because it was very burnt on the outside. It was medium inside but the outside was very very bitter and crusty that made it's a bit unpleasant to eat! The appetizer and drink was okay so I would not go into details! Overall, it was a nice experience but with that price, I expected more! Also I knew about 4% mandatory charge from another review here, but still not very pleased about that!

Great cocktails and unique dishes! We absolutely loved the mussels and steak was done well. Wine selection was good also. Definitely would recommend reservation, but there was additional seating space upstairs.

Yellowfin Tuna, deliciously balanced with cucumbers and shiso trim.

Hadn't been in for a while, nice to be remembered by the bar team. Came for happy hour and to introduce a friend to their amazing burgers. Don't sleep on those, because there's a limited number of burgers that are prepared each day. We ordered medium and The burgers were perfect. Juicy but not too oozing. The bun held its integrity, and the double Cornichons on top were perfect. We also ordered the potatoes dauphinoise, and the mussels. Loved the juice and the toasted sourdough that came with the mussels to sop the flavor up. I had the spicy margarita though the drink I was really looking for was the South Carolina snake charmer, which is now obsolete. The atmosphere is always really lovely in there with the lights and as the sunsets because of all the glass and the high ceilings. Probably the nicest part was the twin espresso martinis that we ended the night with. This is a fantastic place that is always consistent and we're really grateful it's on the corner.

Stopped by for happy hour (4-6 daily, all day Monday!) in the bar area, so cannot attest to regular menu pricing. ~$12 wine/cocktails, which is a steal (nowadays)! HH limited to bar, which included few high-top tables (seats 2), and a section left of the entrance that had a couple tables that could accommodate ~4ppl. Friendly and attentive staff. Host doubled as food bringer, water refiller, and plate clearer. Full bar that was beautifully displayed on a large wall. Between 2 people got: - Soothsayer drink $12 - pretty tasty, decent amount of mezcal - pickled veggies $8 - I'm not one to usually order pickled veg, but the bleu cheese tahini it was on was delicious and slightly warm. Exactly 2 veg per person (carrots, green beans, fennel, radish?). Great palate cleanser to start the meal - tuna tartare $14 - Pretty tasty, not ground-shaking, but a great non-meat alternative. Very fresh aji verde sauce paired with asian flavors. - pork short rib $15 - This was delicious. Didn't see this on the regular menu, which was a shame! One large and one medium sided rib. This plus another dish would be a reasonable happy hour solo meal - burgers $12 - Ordered 2; very juicy and very medium rare burgers. Very tasty, soft bun from Seawolf. Notably did not come with any sides, but expectedly so. Overall, great value with a cozy ambiance tucked away in Phinney Ridge. HH was fantastic deal for an affordable but fancy date night ($100 w tip for 2).

Holy cow what a massive disappointment this place was! What really took them out was the 26 oz Delmonico Steak, aged 21 days, for $112; side dish extra..... This, mind you, is more expensive than the Delmonico served at the Metropolitan, the best steak house in Seattle with leather booths and atmosphere to match. Sitting on a painfully hard wooden plank, I had expectations to match the price. But boy what a disaster. This came out unevenly cut (the first strike) with the whole spectrum of temperatures to match. Please see pic of raw meat. Incompetent. There is no way a product like this should ever be served at that price point. The place was busy; however, very much on the casual side, with loud music playing that made being heard difficult. That likely also led to the wrong appetizer salad being served to me earlier. A duck confit salad instead of the Fall Fig variety I wanted.... it didnt taste like any duck. But I digress because the incredulous high rating here is likely the result of patrons who don't know any better- or fake reviews. This leads me to the automatically added service charge of 23%. Highest I have ever seen. A slap in the face of any customer and, I might add, an insult to North American Culture. This is why everyone knows me at the Met as a regular.....and no one will ever know me at FlintCreek. Each to their own.

We came here to celebrate my friend's 40th birthday because she has fond memories scarfing down their delicious burgers with her husband. They reserved the 2nd floor semi-private area for the party of about 20 people. It was a bit loud and hard to hear sometimes but a great place otherwise for a private group. The staff were all attentive and kind. It was a set menu and here were some of my favorites from the courses: Venison pate--the venison pâté exceeded our expectations, even for my friend who doesn't like pâté, because it was more of a solid and not too mushy texture. It went really well with the pickled shallots and pickle relish. Haricot verts--funny how simple green beans can taste so good but they do them very well here with ginger-soy glaze and bonito for that umami flavor Meyer Ranch MT Hanger steak and the wild boar shoulder--both were marvelous. The boar shoulder won me over with the flavors and soft juiciness that just melted in my mouth. And finally, dessert--the warm ganache over molten chocolate cake was divine and I really enjoyed the unique tin roof ice cream in the bruleed banana split. My other friend who doesn't like banana splits, highly enjoyed the bruleed banana.

This is a Greenlake hidden gem. It's nestled near a lot of other businesses like Coyles bake shop and some other restaurants. I really like the interior, it's clean and rustic. There is a lot behind the restaurant that people use. Staff: nice 5/5 Sanitation status: Super clean 5/5 Duck Confit (5/5) This was one of the best salads that I've had. The duck was perfectly spiced and there was just a really good balance of flavors. I would definitely reccomend if you have the chance to try. Prosciutto di Parma (5/5) Another hit. The peaches they used were super fresh and sweet. A lot of ingredients are locally sourced to the best of their ability and you can taste it. It was a nice balance between the sweetness of the peaches, creaminess of burrata and saltiness of the prosciutto. Lagana Vesuvio Pasta (5/5) This pasta was really good, the sauce was very light and refreshing. You can taste a hint of lemon and it was like a light variation of Pesto Pasta with fava beans. If you want to get your greens in another way this is the way to go. Wagyu Delmonico (4.5/5) This was definitely a highlight of the meal. The crust on the steak was incredible. I would say that it definitely does not need any sauce, the flavoring on the steak was a little bit on the saltier side for my family and I but it was still really good quality and especially for the price. Molten Lava Cake (5/5) This was a unique dessert. The inside was gooey and warm while the cake was rich. The ice cream paired really well. I think it was a peanut ice cream but I can't remember but the little crispy bits around gave an extra layer of texture that was amazing.

9/10. Strongly recommend everything was amazing, the long cod is in this coconut lime broth that is incredible and the spider steak was also so good! Ambiance is bright and good vibes!

Every time we've dined here, it's been wonderful, but this time in particular has been perfection. The service and ambiance is always top notch, but this is the best menu and flavor profile I've experienced not just at this restaurant but ever. We came in for a birthday dinner, ordered the ribeye, wild boar shoulder, pommes, golden beets, and drinks, the flavors were surprising and delightful, and everything was perfectly cooked and plated. I will be dreaming about this meal for at least a few months.

Visiting from out of state for a graduation and wanted a celebratory dinner location, so we tried this restaurant on the recommendation from a former resident. The atmosphere was hopping. We were able to get a late reservation and were seated upstairs. Our waitress was great, very patient and genuinely nice. The servers were all top notch. One complaint is that it was too dark at our table and I had to pull out my phone flashlight to see the menu! We opted for the Lagana Vesuvio Pasta ($33) - the waitress was kind enough to make sure we weren't expecting "Lasagna", and Halibut ($42) for us "girls" - my daughter and me. The Filet Mignon ($72) and NY Strip ($60) were what the boys ordered - my son and husband. My daughter said the pasta was good - no surprise since she likes pesto pasta. My halibut was cooked well but I didn't like the taste combination - it was too sweet and the flavors didn't mesh well. I'm not even sure what accompaniment I was eating with the halibut as i see it's no longer on the website menu as of this review, and it was too dark to see my plate! My son loved his NY Strip as it was a nice size, and my husband said his filet mignon was good. We had to order a side of potatoes ($15) and asparagus ($15) as the entree includes just the entree. We also had the Potato Rolls as an appetizer which were good, but not sure if they were $12 good! My kids were disappointed that their $6 lemonades did not have free refills, "because they are homemade." Overall I think the restaurant was good, but be prepared that it's pricey. Stick with the meats (I should have known better, coming to a steakhouse!) and you'll be fine!

Good for a corporate dinner. Cocktails are unique, service is nice, and food is good but nothing mind blowing or particularly memorable. We ordered the rib eye, filet mignon, pate, broccoli, pork chop, and pasta. The steak and pate were good but the pork chop was dry and the pasta too salty. The broccoli comes with 4 florets for $12 I enjoyed the banana split dessert! Molten chocolate cake was just ok.

FlintCreek is one of those spots you want to love immediately; the space is beautiful, the vibe is warm, and the service is dialed in from the moment you walk in. Truly, their staff is the highlight. Present, thoughtful, and consistent. Food wise, my experience has been mixed. The first visit just didn't land; flavor felt flat, and the dishes didn't live up to the hype I kept hearing. I gave it another shot recently, and to be fair, it was definitely better. The kitchen felt more on their game, and the plates looked great coming out. But for me, the flavors and portions still didn't fully match the price point. Not bad by any stretch; just not that "wow" moment I expected from a place with this reputation. All that said, it's a lovely restaurant with exceptional service, and I'd send people here for the ambiance alone. It's a strong four stars and worth trying at least once to see if it hits your taste preferences differently than it did mine.

We went here based on their appearance on the top 10 burgers in Seattle list. We caught the happy hour and had the classic burger. The server was great and it was a good experience. She did check to see if they still had burgers left (which was only 30 minutes into happy hour where the burgers are featured). The burgers were very good and a place to return to to try other menu options.

The oysters were the main draw for me, and they were totally worth the visit. Old Stove serves them with a savory watermelon sauce in addition to a traditional cocktail sauce--eaten together, it's a flavor explosion that I can't quite describe. We also enjoyed the garlic everything fries, which were delicious! We just had to try a flight to sample the brews. There are some really good beers available here, especially the Belgian blonde, citra pale ale, and the stout. I did not really care for the seasonal sour (grapefruit, I think)--to me, it just tasted like a sour and nothing more, but someone with more interest in sour beers would probably enjoy it just fine. Despite the busy night, our server checked on us regularly and was very personable, stopping to chat with us about the local sports scene. There's plenty to look at, inside and out. If you can snag a seat outside, you'll get to enjoy the waterfront. Inside, the decor is industrial but fun. Not sure if this runs all the time, but when we were there, the tvs were playing vintage beer ads, which was quite fun. They also sell some pretty good t-shirt designs. Overall, Old Stove Brewing is the perfect combo of good location, good food, and good beer. Definitely recommend a visit when in the Pike Place area!

We went with the waiter's recommendation, which were super sweet and a bit salty. One of my friend's had never had oysters before and they were pleasantly surprised by the way it wasn't too fishy! Clam Chowder (4.25/5): Clam chowder was actually probably one of the best bites of the night. Super creamy and luxurious with a good amount of clams. Shrimp Cocktail (2.5/5): Unfortunately, the shrimp were overcooked and too chewy. A real shame because the shrimp are huge! Surf N Turf (2.75/5): Mixed feelings on this one. The scallops were really small, but delicious, fresh, and sweet. The beef cut was some sort of awful hangar steak that didn't feel fresh. A bit small for a main and roasted potatoes were just okay. Lobster Roll (4/5): The bread was warm and nicely toasted with butter. I wish there was a bit more lobster to improve the ratio, but the quality of the lobster was nice! Atlantic Beach Pie (4/5): Very very tart, but I loved it especially with the fresh whipped cream. The saltine crust brought a good amount of salt as well.

WOW! Our server, Antonio (Tonio), was professional, attentive, kind, patient, and fun. He was incredibly accommodating, especially to the member of our party who had a gluten and red bell pepper allergy. He was a major part of making sure our experience was a very memorable one. Do I remember the names of those mysterious green sauces? Absolutely not. But what I do know is that I'm not usually a sauce person, and by the end of the meal, I was scraping every last bit off my plate. They were that good! Everything was delicious, the service was fantastic, and the atmosphere was welcoming despite our very casual appearance. I'll definitely be back on my next trip so I can experience even more of the menu. And one last thing: as we were leaving, they handed us these tiny candies that packed a surprisingly huge punch of flavor. I'm still kicking myself for not getting the name of them--or any of the sauces, for that matter. If the staff happens to read this, just know that when I come back, I'm heading straight for that candy bowl. No shame whatsoever!
